   We really enjoyed our dinner tonight. All the employees were very kind and very attentive to details. our server was able to assist us in ordering appetizers and main dishes. Alejandro had great knowledge of the menu. The food lived up to what we expected. Original and very tasty desserts. Our congratulations to the kitchen staff.

   Best service Ever, best food around Old San Juan!!! So far the best date night I ever had at Azalea. First time with our waiter Doel... loved the guy. Wish him the BEST of lucks in his future endeavors.

   Amazing experience!! Delicious food and excellent service. Pablo was an excellent and kind server, also well informed about the menu. All the food and drinks were wonderful and unique. Beautiful interior too. Would definitely come back next time in Puerto Rico!

   We enjoyed a very good meal. The service and atmosphere were amazing. There were no “bad bites” but nothing blew me away either. However all the food was good and fairly priced. We were a family of 4 and everyone had a great time. If I could have only 1 meal in Old San Juan this would not be it but after several meals this was a very nice change of pace. I would definitely recommend it and hope to return another time.

    Fantastic meal. Service was good, food, drinks & ambiance were all outstanding. There’s attention to detail across the board. The Shiitake Negroni is insane - very different but one of the most memorable cocktails I’ve ever had. Overall the meal was a pleasant departure from our other meals in Puerto Rico.

    Absolutely wonderful experience! Went to celebrate my birthday, and had an incredible time. The attention to detail, with a happy birthday card waiting on the table, was really great to see. The food was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

    Really inattentive and at times rude service. Soup and salad were okay, but the sushi was terrible- rice tasted old/gummy and tough, which is a shame, because making fresh rice is a no brainer if you are a sushi restaurant. Disappointed in the restaurant and surprised it was highly rates by open table?

    Azalea is my favorite place in the whole world. Food and drinks are EXCEPTIONAL . Staff is very kind and on point, but the food it really is to die for.     As a Vegetarian, I find it very hard to find places that adjust to my diet because either they serve meats or vegan food; and Azalea exceeded my expectations. They had many options for me and for my partner (who can eat a steak for breakfast). The food was amazing, the drinks were so fun and delicious. Our server was very nice and the overall experience was a 10/10. The ONLY detail that is sad (for me) is that is leans more toward the expensive side, its not a place I can go monthly, but it is an absolutely great choice for a special occasion or date night. Moreover, I will definitely will go back for any upcoming birthday.

    Incredible sushi. Very imaginative menu. I’ve been in Puerto Rico for 3 weeks and have eaten here twice because it’s the best! Alejandro is an excellent waiter as well and makes the evening special.

    Open table gives you the option to reserve a table for up to 20, please see attached. I initially reserved for 10, but then the party grew to 20. I reached out to the restaurant via phone call, text via OT app and email but no reply to anything I sent. With it being my wedding weekend I was too busy to notice until the last minute when they text to confirm, I tried again to call bit no one would answer the phone. We get there and sent half of my party away because we were greater than 10. When I asked the hostess why no one called to let me know, she just shrugged and rudely repeated that they could only accommodate up to 10. I asked why no one replied to me and she just shrugged and said they could only accommodate up to 10. I later found out that prior to my arrival, she had been extremely rude to my guests who arrived. This restaurant needs to answer the phone, reply to OT app texts and respond to emails. They also need to fire the hostess because this is not how a business should handle customers....especially when my husband went to the bathroom and noticed that most of the tables were EMPTY after we were told there was no availability. Our server Ramon was the ONE saving grace for this place....the rest are just terrible

    2nd time visiting… food is stellar but service this time was quite slow. It took about 80 minutes to get 3 sushi rolls. We had to flag our server down (or other servers) to order more drinks and asked for the check 3 times. Food is so good I’m certain we’ll come back but would appreciate a more proactive server who communicates any kitchen delays and checks in periodically / notices when drinks are empty.

    Perfect experience and is worth it. The only thing that surprised me was the charge of $20 for a cake that I took to sing happy birthday among the 4 people at the table. Overall is a perfect place to relax, have some drinks and great food with family or friends.

    I visited this restaurant after a lot of recommendations from friends, and it was all they said and more. The salmon and wasabi tiradito are very unique and flavorful. The service was attentive and he had great recommendations. The courses were served in order. Definitely a great experience.

    We had a reservation and dined on 1/28 at 7 pm. THe restaurant was recommended highly by the staff at 352 Guest House. We arrived at a fairly empty restaurant and seated at a 2 person table along the wall near the " wooden food door". We did not bring our phones. When we asked for a menu, the server brought ONE 2 page photocopied menu with no prices and with no obvious order to the pages. It was difficult to read but we ordered drinks and an appetizer to start. The drinks came but no appetizer. After a half hour and repeated queries, we ordered a second appetizer. The second one came right out but not the first one , yet. Then we ordered 2 bowls of soup, and after 40 minutes came the first appetizer. Soon after, ONE bowl of soup came out. We inquired about the second bowl of soup and the waiter said he had misunderstood the order. ALL THE WHILE, the wooden door near or table was being open and slammed every time a waiter passed. Our waiter was no help and quite surly. We decided to leave and go somewhere else to eat and asked for our bill. The waiter had a hand held card reader and processed our check and when the tip section came up, the three options were 18% 25% and I think 30%. I didn't want to tip anything to the clown who was our waiter but he said it was required that we had to tip him and we had to tip him 18%. What a scam. I would never treat a customer the way he did.

    The food was just okay - the fish was fresh which was expected, but the flavors were lacking. We got the pork bao to start and the texture was meh - soft on soft - with one tiny pickle that was completely drowned out - offering no crunch or acidity. The wasabi tiradito was also lacking in flavor. And finally, the Tsurai roll was just okay. We had higher hopes for a restaurant claiming to bring Latin flavors to sushi.

    The food was good but over priced for the amount of food you get! You keep ordering more because it is not filling. Drinks are ok, bartender very rude. He does not smile and any interaction you have with him, he seems annoyed. Service was fair but the more food you order the server seems annoyed! Shrimp tacos were terrible!
