Bacco Italian and Wine Bar
Everything was great from the food to the wine to the service! A little pricey but worth it!
Great Italian food. Was a little bit noisy -- but fun. There are two sections -- high top tables to the left, and standard tables to the right. We had a table to the right for 6. Everyone enjoyed Baccos.
Great food and service. They only negative was the lack of any sweeter wines on the "by the glass" menu. Moscato was the closest my lady could find.
I didn't give the service 5 stars because it appears you were understaffed. Our server was very good. She was just too busy sometimes because she was helping out in the bar and then trying to tend to us in the dining room.
The food is a delicacy. The richness and flavor remains on your pallet for some time. I would only hope that as the seasons change the Chef introduces new dishes to the menu.
so, two of my three experiences at Bacco have been, uhm let's say, less than expectations. The first one, despite reservations, we were kept waiting for more than 30 minutes.
The second one, this past weekend, with an OPEN TABLE reservation made more than a week in advance, we were seated in a booth next to the bathroom... NOT the ideal location. The server was friendly, but SLOW... perhaps not his fault, but still. The food was good, but portions were smaller than previously. Two of us were not drinking... is there a bias against non-drinkers?
Hard to say if I would recommend this place or not....
Great meal, would return again. Food was great. Little noisy in the bar. And they could us a coat rack or hooks added to booths for jackets.
Excellent service and a very pleasant atmosphere. We had the Arancini (rice ball) appetizer and salmon for dinner which were both very good.
Love this restaurant. I’m here at least twice per week. Great wines and food. Recommend!
Really great food and atmosphere. Service was great. Definitely request a reservation, drop-in wait times can be up to 1.5 hours.
We had a great date night experience and we plan to have Bacco host our party of 25 for a Confirmation Dinner for our daughter in April.
Had friends with me (it was their first visit to Bacco) Saturday evening and we had a delicious meal with excellent service from our waitress.
Great food, fantastic waitress. Seafood stew was a tad pricey for the quality. Lobster specifically was over cooked.
Waitress was excellent and attentive!
Our corner table was perfect and our server was excellent. Cocktails were very good and wine selection excellent! Lovely dinner and dessert was delicious, too. Lively crowd on a Friday night which was really good to see.
This was our second time here. The service was great and the food was really good. My husband had the stuffed pork chop which was awesome. I had a seafood pasta, which while it was prepared well, just wasn’t what I had wanted. The lava cake was the perfect size and really, really good. We prefer the high top tables in the bar area. Can’t wait for warmer weather so we can try sitting outside.
Very nice restaurant, decently priced, adequate portions, delicious food, reasonable drinks.
Excellent meal and Alex was a great server.
Really enjoy going to this wine bar. This is my third visit and I brought two friends who had never been there. They also were very impressed with the food and service. The manager, Steve, visited our table to check on our dining experience. We are looking forward to when the weather warms up to sit in their outside area. My only disappointment is that they do not take reservations for two people.
A little confusion in seating with crazy Valentine's weekend reservations, otherwise we had an amazing experience. Great food and service led to an awesome time.
It was our second visit to Bacco, and another enjoyable one. The food was good, especially the risotto. Our waitress, Andy, was exceptional, obviously experienced, very engaging. The service was timely. What Bacco lacks is ambience and that's hard for it to capture because of the family crowd. Too much noise from children. If it had a separate area for the serious diners away from the din it might help it's appeal as a diner's destination instead of a restaurant that serves Italian dishes. Pairings, One-Eleven and Barretts on the Pike, even Liberatore's, does a much better job in providing a diner's atmosphere. But we'll probably go back to Bacco at some point.
The food was solid but not outstanding (The fish in the night's special was cooked perfect but the risotto was undercooked. The flavor in the squid ink pasta was spot on but the pasta was a little on the mushy side, and so forth). The service and cocktails are the very best, though. I would come for drinks alone. The hostess told us that there was a reservation at 7:15 when we arrived 5 minutes late (Ours was at 5:15). This interaction put a damper on the whole evening. My husband wanted to take our time just to annoy her more. Our server more than made up for her attitude. He was fun and knowledgeable. We were able to customize/combine some elements of a few dishes because we couldn't decide on the menu. I later overheard our server suggesting other tables try our new creation because he liked our idea. This cracked me up. Did I mention the cocktails? :) Our bill was much higher than it's been at 111 Main. I'm not sure given the choice between the two that I'd come to Bacco...unless I really needed a good cocktail.
Our dining experience was absolutely wonderful. The service, food and atmosphere was perfect for a very special dinner out. The chef is wonderful.
Seating was pretty tight, I guess due to the valentine day crowd. Other than that it was great. The waiter was very knowledgeable as well.
We had a great Valentine’s Day dinner! Initially we could only get a 9pm reservation, but the day of the restaurant called to say they had some cancellations and wanted to know if we’d like to move our reservation to earlier in the night. I appreciated that so much! Our server, Kathy, was wonderful! Also, the adorable little boy who brought roses around to the ladies was such a lovely touch. He was the cutest and it was so thoughtful! Bacco is definitely our go-to restaurant for pretty much any occasion and I don’t see that changing anytime soon!
My wife & I made reservations for Valentines Day. Upon arrival we were seated. The character & atmosphere of Bacco is wonderful. Our server was Suzie and she gave us some great recommendations for the evening. One was the Lobster bisque & it was delish. My wife had their Salmon dish and loved it. I ordered the Linguine and Clams. Was not disappointed. Honestly the best that I’ve ever had in our area. We both are seafood lovers and each of our main courses were fresh, well made with good portions & a great presentation of the dish. Highly recommend Bacco’s for a great dining experience.
It was a hectic nite for Valentine’s as to be expected. I booked a table for two in the high seating/bar section but was surprised to get a middle seating in a shared community type table. There were other tables for two that were free but the manager informed us that open table randomly assign tables. I was very puzzled with that since I never had any reservation issues with opentable. We asked the manager politely to change our seating since I was recovering from a flu and would prefer a more private table. It took him awhile and Thank God- he found us a semi private table in the other room. The special menu also saved our night since the lobster bisque soup and Chilean sea bass were to die for. The special chocolate almond torte with raspberries was a hit too. As much as I was not able to eat that much that night - we were both pleased with Bacco. Our waitress was polite and customer focused. Oh and the young boy at the hostess station was giving out free rose to all the ladies-which was such a sweet gesture! Thumbs up from us!
We have been to Bacco’s numerous times and have always found something to try as well as our favorites. The staff is very professional and courteous. We always look forward to our best visit.
Great meal, good atmosphere, portions were appropriate.
Very nice Valentine Day venue. The single rose to all the Ladies was a great touch.
Wasn’t a fan of making a reservation for a party of 2 for 4pm and being sat in the middle of 2 other two tops when the dining room was close to being empty. The two top tables are separated by maybe 6” between them. Asked if we could move to another table but was informed by the hostess that all tables were assigned. Didn’t feel like I could have an intimate dinner with my date and was forced to have dinner with two other couples in an otherwise empty dining room. Not surprising the dining room started to fill up after we received the check.
Overall, they had a great wine list and lots of dinner options. The server was friendly and attentive. Had the meatballs for an appetizer, and they were good. I had the lobster ravioli and date had the shrimp scampi. Both meals lacked flavor. Had the cannoli for dessert and it was pretty good. It was an alright experience. There are other options I would recommend for fine dining.
Annie is a wonderful server! She is very attentive and makes sure you enjoy your meal.
Everything was phenomenal, perfect for a date night or night out with friends! We loved the Cannoli, absolutely a must!
It was loud and one of the meals came out cold. Overall ok and we had a good time. Will return
first visit and will definitely return. Very impressed with the atmosphere, staff especially front desk, manager Steve and waitress alyssa.
We went here for a dinner for my moms 60th birthday. Food was great and so was the atmosphere. Management checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going well. Will be back for sure
Management was a huge help. We had extra people show up in a super busy night and they found a way to help us all eat together. Very customer centric. We will go back again and again now. Plus the food is great.
Food was only slightly warm. The veal was tough. This is the second time we had lunch there and we were disappointed both times with the food quality.
Wonderful service. There were issues with our food at first. The staff and manager immediately resolved the issue. Our food was wonderful and we will definitely be going back.
