   Bakersfield was outstanding as always. Margarita is the best in the city and the beer is cold. The guacamole is fresh and chunky and the small tacos are all delicious. Our favorite southwestern cuisine!!!

   Good food. Loved the guacamole and tacos. Had the grapefruit margarita. Thumbs up! Very casual. Sat at old picnic tables. Very dark. Couldn’t see the person I was with.

   Great tacos and friendly service. Our reservation was early, before the FC game, and it was perfect. The hongos and pollo verde tacos were our favorites, along with the roasted cauliflower side.

   My husband and I went to Bakersfield before the FC Cincinnati game. We loved sitting outside at the rooftop bar. We had cheese dip with some chorizo added, and it was delicious. My husband got the chicken sandwich which is what he usually gets. He liked it but wished it had more of a sauce on it. It needed something to make more of an impact on the chicken. I got 3 tacos, and they were outstanding. The waiter said that I picked his 3 favorite ones which were Al Pastor, Short Rib, and Pollo Diablo. I definitely love picking out different tacos to try. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, but the 3 that I had seemed extra seasoned and definitely were not bland.

    Alex did a great job on being our server. We had never tried the salads before and he recommended the Willie. It was delicious! We will definitely get it again. He checked back with us to make sure all was good.

    Had reservation at 7:15, showed up at 6:30 and they were able to get us in almost immediately. Wonderful service, all had pleasant attitudes, food was great as always, ambiance was great. Was able to sit outside on a perfect night. A bit expensive but overall a great experience.

    Pretty much all been said - excellent Margaritas and guac, small but delicious tacos and friendly, efficient service. If anyone wants to see how a good restaurant is run, this is it.

    The food was amazing, but the service was not. We had dietary restrictions which required modification of the food (which we notified them of as soon as possible) and our server seemed extremely irritated. He was extremely rude to us the entire night, really inattentive, and very short with us. He forgot to place the order for items we had ordered and made us feel rushed. I typically love Bakersfield, but this was definitely a very disappointing experience

    We were late for our reservation (15-20 minutes) and the host was gracious, even had a table for us on the upstairs patio. Service by Stephen was quick, he offered a suggestion to try the spicy Margarita which was delish. Food was great, good portion sizes.

    The guac and queso were delicious, came out very quick and I thought the price for the quality was fair, maybe a little high. I personally feel like the tacos were hit or miss. The quality of the tacos were incredible, but I left hungry at how small they were. I really wish you could get like a "meal" with two tacos and side or something.

    Decided to visit here to compare to other Mexican style restaurants that I had eaten. The environment was okay, nothing special about decor and the food was at best average compared to other comparable restaurants in the downtown area. Will not necessarily go back anytime soon.

    The Hongos taco was outstanding and the other tacos we tried (fish, short rib, papas/chorizo) were also very tasty. The Milanesa torta was good but less interesting. Haven't tried the margaritas yet...

    Fabulous as always! We love starting with chips/salsa and spicy margaritas - the ruby red special marg was delish! Variety or tacos and dont forget the black beans and, my favorite, the roasted cauliflower!

    It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a “Happy Anniversary”. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was to die for good! If we did not live so far away this would be a regular night out spot. Do not hesitate to eat here!

    I Cannot get enough of Bakersfield! Their margaritas are delightfully refreshing, the queso is delicious and the tacos are the perfect size for multiple options.
