Good looking space, delicious food with wonderful presentation. My specialty cocktail was fabulous. I think it was called a Brooklyn Fire. Smokey Manhattan. I’ll for sure go back.

I tried this place with a friend during restaurant week. I would go back, but sharing a few notes about our experience to explain the rating

-We had excellent service! He paid attention to the details and that earns 5 stars!
-My friend has a dairy allergy and they did a great job accommodating and being aware of it. Again, excellent service!
-The food is good. It’s not creative, unique, or of especially high quality, but it’s good. One nice thing I noticed is that the dipping sauces that came with the fries all seemed to be made in house. That was really the only thing that would have earned more than 3 stars.

I’ll go back because everything was good.

We visited Baldamar with friends for Restaurant week in February of 2021. I hadn't heard of it before this, but we were sure in for a treat. From the moment we arrived, attention to detail and quality service were on display. The food was fantastic, and the manager checked on us more than once. He even bought us a side he felt strongly about us falling in love with. He wasn't wrong. The corn was phenomenal, but I never would have tried it without his push. We will definitely visit again. Can't wait to try the Rib Eye.

I'm never going anywhere else for
a fine dining experience

We came to this restaurant for my birthday, first of all, I’m disappointed that they serve ice cream for birthday dessert, I can’t believe there are restaurants serve ice cream instead of a cake for their costumes’ birthday.
We ordered the cocktail Pail Killer, appetizer chimichurri shrimp with baguette, and steak of ribeye and New York strip, with mashed potatoes and crab asparagus bearnaise.
All drinks and food taste good and impressed me in the first sip or bite, but as you drink more or eat more, it became worse, steaks are overly salted, and the surface of steak is charred and burnt but they say it is their character of steak, side dish crab is also overly salted, the ribeye’s texture is disappointing, really corse and dry, doesn’t have the nice fatty flavor too, New York strip is also normal but a bit better than ribeye. Appetizer is good, shrimp cooked good nicely salted. Mashed potatoes and ice cream is good, but you can’t go wrong with them. The cocktail is pretty sweet, the first sip was good but it is too sweet that other characters of the cocktail was covered.
Service and environment is good, music is loud but not a problem.
They also provide a 15 dollar off for next time dining as birthday gift.
Overall I think this restaurant doesn’t worth the price, there are many more better restaurant with same price, won’t come again

Tried it out during restaurant week and had a great meal and the drinks were something new we hadn't tried before.

Baldimar never disappoints. We keep going back and they keep delivering great service and tasty food! Roseville needs this restaurant - it’s a nice atmosphere and works well for everyday dining and special occasion!

We were very impressed with our first experience at Baldamar. The vibe was awesome on a Saturday night. The food was absolutely incredible. I would recommend the calamari - it was so flavorful. We also got the prime filet mignon which was fabulous! It felt like we ordered a lot of food for a good price given this is a “nicer” restaurant. Would 100% recommend!

First time at the restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere. Ser Phil will really great. He was able to really explain all the food on the menu. Was able to share his favorites on the menu which really helped. Super talkative and energetic and interacted really well with all his guest.

Everything was amazing and was worth the high prices.

Service was awesome. The Scallops and Ribeye were awesome. Ordered a Mango Salad with the steak and it was very disappointing. They offered to make it right and did.

They offer new twists on traditional Midwest cuisine. The Seafood was very fresh. I will will return.

First time at Baldamar. The food was incredible and hot. Some of the best wings we have had. Sarah the server made our experience very pleasant. Definitely will be back! 5 stars

Food was not what we were expecting based on the prices, for example, their "Prime" filet mignon did not live up to the hype. Tasted like steak but with a huge price tag. We both ordered medium rare "Prime" filet mignon, mine was a bit under and both were a bit chewy. If I'm spending $70 per steak I expect it to melt in my mouth and taste better than a $30 steak from a local grill, not leave me annoyed. If you're charging that much for a normal steak at least include a side (maybe some bread to lessen the blow?). For a side, since the "Prime" cuts are too good to come with any, we ordered the Yukon mashed potatoes to share and it was alright. It just tasted like normal mashed potatoes with some onions in it, the gruyere cheese was barely detectable. Appetizer was calamari and was above par and we took home a huge piece of chocolate cake, and I mean huge enough for like three people after a meal like this, which was quite good. Personally we will not be back for there are much better restaurants to visit where the prices actually reflect the quality. I apologize if this seems harsh but we had high hopes for this place and are just a bit miffed about spending $240 for two people here instead of one of our favorite restaurants. We left disappointed, won't be back and won't recommend.

GM Michael and his team are exceptional in service and providing customers with a personal dining experience that exceeds all expectations.

The corn elote appetizer is out of this world, as is the bread for life. My wife and I were ecstatic with our food, the great service, and the ambience. A bit pricey, but well-worth the investment! We'll be coming back!

We received such great personalized service every step of the way. The manager stopped by and helped us pick out a great bottle of wine. We felt so welcomed, like honored guests. The food was excellent! Will definitely be coming back soon!
