We had to postpone our December 19th anniversary dinner because of the Covid closure of restaurants. We were able to celebrate on January 16th & it was definitely worth the wait! Our server, Nicholas, was amazing & made our 39th wedding anniversary memorable. He offered suggestions, knew the menu inside & out - was happy to be back @ work. The food was delicious, but not heavy-handed like some steak-houses. The cocktail selection was fun. I felt as if safety of their guests was paramount. Would definitely recommend.

Baldamar is the best overall restaurant I have dined at in the Twin Cities in a long time. While they are a steak house, they have causal appetizers, sandwiches, etc. as well.

Every item was very well presented and had great flavor.

It can be pricey, but the quality of the food is well worth it in my opinion.

They have a great happy hour menu in the bar area as well.

Noticed beer cheese soup on their lunch menu and had to try it. Reservations were easy. Not crowded. Social distancing in place. The beer cheese soup was excellent! Rivaled my old favorite from Arther's Four Seasons in Minneapolis years ago...

Each of the food selections we sampled were very good. Our waitress was excellent and very engaging. I loved the atmosphere. We definitely will be going back!

The staff was excellent and the food was superb! We really enjoyed spending an evening their.

We had a great night. Our server was on top of everything and made great suggestions. Three of us had the ribeyes and agreed they were possibly the best we’ve had anywhere. The scallops, street corn, and Brussels sprouts were delicious.

Good, overpriced but cheap for dining out food. On a pass/fail system, pass for sure.

This was our second time dining here and absolutely love the food and drinks! Our server was exceptional and very attentive. All employees wore masks the entire time and we felt very comfortable (all things considered). We'll be back again for another Date Night.

Our waiter was wonderful... attentive, patient, helpful. The filet mignon was as good or better than any we’ve had in the Twin Cities... and the truffle fries & lobster mac n cheese... delicious & rich!! Spinach salad excellent too. Their special cosmo fantastic... not sweet at all ... and great Manhattan.

Steaks did not have the butter sauce on them and mashed potatoes are different with onions now, those are not needed. Bread was excellent.

We've been here several times. Tried new item. Food was a bit oily for our taste this time around. It was unfortunately to have numerous waitstaff pass by several times but not pick up clearly finished dishes.

Great cuts of steak and sides were good and reasonably price. Perfect restaurant for a celebration.

Food was good. Service was good. The only negative was since it was the first night back after the shutdown our food was not spaced as it should have been. Salad and appetizer arrived at the same time. We weren’t even done with our salad and our meal arrived. We asked them to take it back which they did.

We love Baldamar! Food is always outstanding and service too. Tried the Cajun chicken sandwich, which was really tasty. Not much Cajun flavor, but definitely still get it. Also the tuna appetizer is always awesome! You really can’t go wrong with anything you order. 5 stars!

Everything was great. First time visiting and I was pleased with everything.

Great meal! We were glad we could spend the last night out while we go into the shutdown at this fabulous restaurant.

Service and food were wonderful

We went on the last night out before the second restaurant lockdown. Service and food was excellent! Pork shank was tender and meaty, meatballs amazing, sea bass light and fresh. We'll be back in 4 weeks:)

Our waitress was amazing. She was real, incredibly accomodating, a pleasure to talk with. Every bite of all the food was heavenly. I was so impressed.

Great food, great wine list, great service! Easy to park! The staff and customers follow all COVID requirements. Enjoy!
