The Bali Hai Cafe captures the essence of Broome. Offering casual fine dining using fresh produce and other high quality ingredients to create a delicious menu. The menu is complimented by a beautiful wine list and refreshing cocktails.

Opening hours:

Dinner - Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm
Seafood Sundays - 12pm to 3pm (special seafood menu only) Closed for dinner
Closed - Monday & Tuesday

Bookings are STRONGLY recommended. Please note that booking times and scheduled slots are strictly adhered to in order to avoid impacting other reservations.

Back by popular demand from 8th November 2026 our Seafood Sundays are back! Our seafood extravaganza ( with a small number of other options) menu will be served between 12pm and 3pm (last seating). Think long lazy lunches or early dinners - the perfect Sunday relaxation! *Please note that there may be some variation to the menu each week as it evolves according to fresh ingredient availability.

Bali Hai went above and beyond. I only made the booking the morning of the event for 21 people. 24 people turned up and they accommodated everyone. For 24 people we were able to order what we wanted individually. Most restaurants would just offer a set menu to make it easier for them. But Bali Hai was able to produce beautiful food for everyone and waiting time wasn’t that long. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Amazing food and drink in a beautiful setting. One of our favourite places to go in Broome! Unfortunately we do now feel like it’s becoming more and more unaffordable But still highly recommend for a special occasion

We had a fantastic experience, food was A1, service was outstanding, warm, friendly and personable. Capped off with cocktails and a delicious brownie. Highly recommended venue for a special occasion. Thanks for a fabulous evening.

Every time we eat visit Broome and we eat the Bali Hai it is a wonderful experience. Many thanks to Tania for the great table service and Chef for sensational food. The scallops and the beef croquettes were incredible as was the barramundi. Looking forward to next time.

Food was great but portions were a little mean... Pork was about a finger length/width. Surely profit margins aren't that tight.

We always have a wonderful meal at Bali Hai Café. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the key lime pie cocktail is a favourite of mine! We regularly recommend it to our own guests at The Billi, it is a place we are always happy to return to.
