One of the best five-star meals that I have had in a long time and the fact that it was in downtown Wilkes-Barre was amazing considering this type of dining you wouldn’t find around here!
Everything was terrific. Cocktails were amazing. Branzino and Strip steak both delicious. The Brussels sprouts our new favorite side. Liz, our server, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly and made our experience delightful. My new first choice restaurant.

I love the seasonality of Bank & Vine's menu. For the last day of Octoberfest and an appetizer of flatbread shared, I had steamed lobster over spatzle and the roasted butternut squash. Both the lobster, steamed perfectly & paired with a delicious carb and the squash were exceptional - tasty, satisfying explosions of taste. Service was very attentive without being intrusive & were genuinely interested in our comfort. The bank decor was amusing & whimsical. I would schedule a dinner here every week!

I've been here for dinner a couple times and it was excellent, brunch was a little bit of a disappointment. While the service was awesome, the food came out cold. My waffle was cold and coming apart and the gravy on the biscuits was salty. I'm hoping this was just a one time thing and am not writing them off. I'll try it again some time just to be sure.
This was a first time experience and the entire night was great! Betty Jo’s and Ryan’s service was excellent from start to finish. We were seated in the private Vault Room, so we felt like the only guests even though the night was busy in the main dining rooms. We enjoyed everything we ordered (beef tartare, duck, sea bass pumpkin spice cake and the chocolate bundo). The menu was filled with so many other appetizers and dishes that we look forward to trying on a return visit. This was our first time dining there, but certainly not the last!
Martini glass was 1/3 empty when I got my drink. The service was incredibly slow. Every table was out before us and about half came in after us.

Move or lower the music, the staff, including our waitress, could not have been any nicer.
The food was just ok. The dinner portions were the size of appetizers and the chicken dish was too salty to eat. When we ordered dessert, which was complimentary due to the table issue, I ordered the sorbet and it came with one small scoop.
I want to be clear in that we don’t need two meals in size when we order but to pay in excess of $250 for two couples and to walk out hungry is not acceptable. This is also to note that the portions were very small and the food was not well prepared.
It’s truly unfortunate since the staff was so accommodating that the food was not as good as the staff. Time for a new chef…..!!!!!!

I’m glad this restaurant is great after so many changes from the French bistro. The service is excellent, attentive (without being annoying), and friendly. The food is very nicely prepared. The meat temp was spot on. The specials are well thought out.

Went here with friends to celebrate my birthday. It was the best meal I have had at a restaurant in NEPA ever! Yes, it was that good!! Everything was fresh, unique and presented beautifully. The staff (both in the bar and at the table) were excellent as well. I would highly recommend (and will be going back soon)!

The only thing that spoiled the otherwise wonderful experience of dining here was the fact that the diners next to us were allowed to bring their dog ( not a service animal) to sit along side them.
I love animals, but not at indoor restaurants of this caliber.

Great follow-up visit for us! While on vacay from NJ & NY, our party of 6 had come here back in June for Sunday brunch, which was exquisite! Situated in a repurposed bank, the decor is both interesting and eclectic, as are the ambient music choices - and the employees! Most of us went for the shakshuka, a Middle Eastern breakfast bowl consisting of eggs, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Unbelievably tasty! The side dishes of bacon, avocado toast, etc. were amazing. The service was impeccable, and we met Chef Chad, a surprisingly well-versed man of 32. Sunday brunch was packed. We vowed to come back. We did so this past weekend, coming on another vacay primarily TO VISIT THIS RESTAURANT! We did Saturday brunch, which was less crowded than Sunday, but no less in quality of an experience. Some repeated the shakshuka, one had bagel & lox, and another the breakfast burger (beef burger, egg, bacon, etc.). Fantastic! For both visits, the restaurant plied us with free tastings of other appetizers, etc., that we did not order. This time we fell in love with the blueberry tea cakes, and the associated fresh-made berry jam. Perfect! We ordered a bunch to go, and were again completely satisfied, and properly satiated. Chef Chad again warmly greeted us, and a good time was had by all! Next time, we will come for dinner...
This was our tenth time. We were so disappointed. Food is usually phenomenal and this time it was almost inedible. Our waitress was very nice, but we were rushed through the whole meal. We ordered two apps and dinner and were in and out in 45 minutes
We were there for our first wedding anniversary, we’re met with a complimentary glass of champagne and had a great experience beginning to end. Drinks, food, and dessert were all wonderful. We will be back

Traveling from DC and spent the night nearby and read about this place online. Lovely historic bank building. Very attentive staff and food was delicious. French inspired and very sophisticated by any standards. A real find and if ever in this part of the country again will definitely stop in again.
