   Restaurant area was CLOSED for the evening. Even though we had an Open Table reservation they did not appear to be expecting us. Initially put four of us at a very crowded table in the bar area, then moved us to a larger table, still in the very noisy bar area. Certainly not the experience we expected and paid for.    Normally, the term "hotel restaurant" doesn't generate much excitement — but Bar Ciccetti is a clear exception. For us, the food is the most important thing — and we were delighted with our choices. We started with the focaccia (at the recommendation of our terrific waitperson Alyssa) and loved it. My daughter had the pasta Bolognese, my wife had the chicken Marsala and I had the Stozzapretti. All three dishes were delicious — as attested by the empty plates when we finished. We've added Bar Ciccetti to our list of favorite Columbus restaurants and are already looking forward to our next visit. And we have pointed several friends and family members their way, certain that they will enjoy it as much as we did. A terrific meal, perfect service and great drink selection — what more could you want?

   We were greeted warmly and seated in the main room. LOVED our server Greg. He was nothing short of fabulous! Provided great service which lots of personality. I had the salmon which was very good and my friend had the asparagus soup and salad.

    Extremely poor service. Seated in the bar because the restaurant was closed for lack of people. This was certainly not the “star chef” experience we expected. Served entrees while we were not done with our first course even though we were one of two tables being served. Please Mr. “Star Chef” come back a help this place!

    Food here is fantastic! Every dish was AMAZING - flavorful, perfectly cooked, and distinct! At first, service was a little slow. They might have been short-staffed, but once we finally ordered, everything was quick and staff members were attentive. Looking forward to going back!

    For the life of me, I do not understand why restaurant don't install some noise dampening wall and ceiling coverings. The noise level is beyond being able to carry on a conversation across the table without screaming. Look at your lovely restaurant. It's all hard sound reflecting surfaces everywhere. Also, it would be nice to have some bread with the Cioppino and the Campanelle to sop up the broth with. Both excellent dishes.

    Food was great as always. The bartender was incredibly rude. She forgot to ring in our order, which we get, it happened. Instead of apologizing she blamed me and told me I didn’t give the reservation enough time (I allotted for 90 minutes prior to our theatre tickets). She said we rushed her and should account for two hours for dinner at the bar (we ordered one appetizer, a bottle of wine, and pasta).

    We had an assortment of apps including the famous polpetti. They did not disappoint! The whipped ricotta was also outstanding. Service was good, mood was low-key and quiet. Definitely will return.

    This is the perfect place for a meal before or after a show at the Southern Theatre. Great food and service. Nice and quiet in the front room. We're definitely going back.

    We were trying something new for dinner prior to heading to the symphony. Everything exceeded our expectations! Matthew, our server, was wonderful. Great recommendations and impeccable service. The wine list was unique, the octopus is a must-have, and everything else was made to perfection! I’ll definitely be sharing this new gem with friends and hope to be back soon. Bravo

    Great appetizers and entrees - dinner is not made in house/was clearly frozen. Our server, Anyx (pronounced: Onyx) was AMAZING. The menu is fairly priced, the beer and wine is quite pricey.

    Was looking forward to a birthday dinner. Had made reservations couple weeks prior or more. Arrived and was told that the dining room was full so we were seated in the bar area. Didn't make sense to me considering I had made reservations ahead of time. This was the biggest frustration to us. Appetizer could have been warmer but was tasty. Dinner was good but the sides were not very warm. Was told when asking for bread that we would have to pay $3.50 which okay...but only got two pieces of grilled bread. Cocktails were very pricey but I guess that's to be expected downtown. Server was nice. Don't know if we would return though because we didn't get to experience the dining room and apparently you aren't guaranteed a table in it even if you make a reservation.

    This was Dan’s and my first dinner here and we found the ambiance warm and modern; service was very attentive; and the food is fantastic. Small-ish menu but really well done. We started with three shared dishes: crazy delicious meatballs in pomodoro; black rice arancini with romesco, and rosemary olive focaccia. Our dinner choices at Bar Cicchetti were exceptional (and realistic portions). JoAnne ordered the Romaine and Truffle Salad, Dan had the Strozzapreti Verde (sausage, fennel, broccolini, yolk) and I loved the perfect heat in the Calabrian Chili Campanelle (littleneck clams in spicy pepper, white wine, garlic sauce). It was a lick-the-plate kinda dinner! Cocktails were the Main Street Manhattan and mezcal-based Pepino. And wine. Highly recommend.

    So excited to have found Bar Cicchetti here in Columbus. The food was authentic and delicious, some of the best Italian we’ve had in Columbus. Highly recommend the squid ink pasta with the frutti de mare (seafood). The burrata was also excellent! Great wine list too. You can’t go wrong!

    Our server was great! Very friendly and enthusiastic! Food was very good! We arrived before Happy Hour ended, so we were excited to take advantage of that special menu. We ordered the truffle fries (very good!), as well as the meatball app- loved it! For our entrees, we had 2 pasta dishes that were really good. Mine was a seafood dish; husband had a rigatoni.     We came after lunch rush i guess..it was 1:30pm .. its inside a hotel so that probably cutts down walkins... place in nice beautiful seating comfy as well... great service. Waiter was extra nice and helpful with menu... wine list is ok .... THE FRENCH FRIES ARE DELICIOUS... but the chicken sandwich was bland and thin. My wife had some type of chicken salad it had a RUNNY EGG.. needless to say she didnt like that.... and the Brussels sprouts (my favorite side dish) was not to my liking. $120 wasted

    Our experience was exceptional!! The food and drinks were amazing, and the service was phenomenal. We had the Polpetti De Fabio (meatballs) as an appetizer. Our main courses were the Taleggio Roman Pizza and the Chicken Thigh Marsala. For dessert we enjoyed the Tiramisu. All dishes were mouthwatering and some of the best we have ever had. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
