Baringa Tavern

Probably the best tavern on the Sunshine Coast. Very very good food.

There was one girl taking all table orders on a really busy lunch and we waited way too long for our order to be taken. - around 45mins. We hd to ask about three times when was someone coming to take our order. Inside the room seems to echo alot so was very noisy. Food quality was good and fortunatey, once ordered the food came out in reasonable time.

The staff are pleasant. The service is good and the staff are friendly. The hotel is a very nice meeting place to lunch with friends.

I have one comment to make re staff. As we did not have the phone app we had to book in with our details on an I pad with a young female staff member. She gave the impression that this was an imposition and she did not want to perform the task.

Otherwise all good.

The food is quite expensive for pub fair and it is just everyday pub food. Good location. Noisy inside so sit outside if you want to be able to hear each other.

A pleasant venue in our precinct to take visitors to. Enjoyed our meal and the friendly service.

Table service return too slow and food prices too high. Expect to pay higher for steak but everything else inconsistent. Drinks should be with table service if you have to book a table. Not go to the bar yo get your own drinks.
Food prices are all over the place.
Pork isn't a expensive meat but you pay top $. Then chick Parmie is cheap

Great food, excellent service, beautiful layout and design - only issue we had was the kids room - very small and only paid games for the kids - didn't keep them entertained at all - would suggest the addition of more of a play room, colouring books etc - Aura is mostly young families with small children

loved the food will be going back for sure and lovely place to catch up with friends for a drink

The food was great and the service great we got our meals very quick and they were hot and my calamari wasn’t tuff

The waitresses seemed inexperienced but that didn't bother us. You've got to start somewhere.

Seniors meal good value. Schnitzel good value. Steak not good value very thin grizzly cooked well done when ordered medium and overpriced. Vegetables and sauce only good thing about it.

Overall a very pleasant experience our friends were delighted also

Always new it would be a good Pub to eat and drink at due to the fact there other venues are always outstanding and clean.

Jeremy was an exception host and all the staff were very friendly. It was a pleasure to dine there.

Steak was very chewy so disappointing . Two of us had it and both the same . Very very noisey in there too. To the point of it ruining the evening a bit. Kids running everywhere bumping into waitress with food - a miracle food wasn’t dropped.

Such a lovely ambience, relaxing on the outdoor balcony amongst the hanging plants eating lunch. Generous meals are served by happy, friendly staff. We always recieve a warm welcome and departure. A great choice of deliciousness on the menu.

Our table booking was placed right outside the childrens play area and the screaming and screetching from the 10-15 kids in there made for a thoroughly disappointing night. It was a rare family get together and we could not hear each other talk. The owners of the children had a much better ambience to dine and communicate than us! We asked to be moved even before we sat down as the sound was deafening, but was given a resounding no even the though the dining area was only 3/4 full. Service was hit or miss, we had hardly sat down and they wanted to take our order so we had to ask for more time, they then didn't come back for 20min. Food was generally very good quality at an acceptable price. Doubt I will be back after this bad experience :(

Very noisy in dining area. Would not return on Saturday night during school holidays.

Air conditioning was turned so low, it was freezing, luckily warned by previous diners to take jackets. Staff more than helpful in setting a table outside as it was warmer there. With a group booking like this, all living at the same Over 50's Village, it would be easier if person who booked gave full details, others just name and phone numbers. This was done electronically recently at North Lakes Sports Club, diners given a docket which they returned as they left. (Just phone numbers, not address).
Cheesy garlic bread a must! Chicken and bacon a bit dry, more choice of vegetarian meals would be good. Also appreciated if diners had a choice of vegetables instead of chips and salad.
