Barrio Taqueria + Tequila

The soft serve margarita was amazing, I was disappointed that it wasn’t as presentable as the pictures on their page but it tasted great. The food was amazing and the service was awesome. Loved the atmosphere!

I had a great night at Barrio. We ordered soft serve margs, tacos, and chips and queso. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very nice but would sometimes not come back to our table for awhile when we needed another drink or wanted to order. I think they were just busy. Overall great night! You need to check this place out!

I always enjoy my time here! Service is fast and friendly. The margarita sorbets are to die for, not to mention the yummy tacos. Ambience is not like a typical taqueria. It has a young, fun, city vibe. Highly recommend!

Great service. Food was just ok, too much onion in the guacamole and the house margarita was not good. Menu is fairly priced.

We had a great time at Barrio. The soft serve drinks were fun and delicious! The handcrafted margarita was strong but tasty. I got three tacos and I liked the fish taco the best from my trip, which included the steak and tuna tacos. Others said the shrimp was the best. Had churros to top it off - they were crispy and covered in cinnamon sugar. They were heavy on the sugar. I didn’t care for the sauce for dipping with the churro.
It’s very loud so we had a hard time hearing each other at our table of 5. The service was EXCELLENT.

It was me and sisters first there and everything was amazing. The soft served margaritas were amazing and not to expensive. Our waitress was so friendly she made us laugh we made jokes. I got the chicken and shrimp tacos and they were great everything was good definitely going back.

Barrio was delicious. We were there in time for happy hour. $3 margaritas!! The chips, cheese dip and guacamole were spot on! Potato tacos, delish! If you don’t want a tortilla they will bring you a bowl with the taco insides in it. The soft serve margarita is amazing. Don’t forget to get one!

Good place for small groups and for drinks. Food is solid and not expensive. Wide variety of taco choices and apps to fill you up.

Food was excellent! Prices were a little high especially for apps considering the size of them. We sat upstairs so service was slower than any other time I’ve been. Food is AMAZING regardless, and I will go back a million times!!

Completely blown away! The space is absolutely beautiful! We were seated in The Lounge and Bella was so pleasant and attentive. As he handled everyone seated in The Lounge, she did not skip a beat! The food was excellent. The crated cocktails were incredible!! The soft serve Margarita was also a big hit with us!! Can’t wait to return!

We were disappointed that the service was so slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and we had a reservation. Ultimately we got our food in time enough to scarf it down to get to our next destination, but I can’t say I enjoyed it enough to go back.

Michelada was not very good, asked to be switched for just a Pacifico beer. Took over 10min to get that beer, michelada was still on bill when asked for the bill.

Been here several times and the tacos and margaritas never disappoint. We had 2 servers, 1 in training, and they were great!The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars this time around is because whoever the bartenders were that evening were extremely loud, literally laughing, screaming, and high fiving to the point where it was distracting and other customers were looking too. Still enjoyed my time but would have been nicer without that.

I have always loved the building in which this restaurant is located from Southern Culture to Pearl. The interior is beautiful. That being said I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when my husband and I were lead to a table way in the back corner on the second floor with an air condition unit as our window scenery. I could understand this if the restaurant was full; however, the place was half seated at the time of our arrival (6:00 pm) with no excuse for shoving a couple in the dark. cool corner. I watched as other couples were placed in comfortable seating around the room as we sat on this hard, metal bar stools. That being said the food was average. No standout. The drinks were very good (thank goodness) and our waitress, Leanna was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not on our list of returns. Too bad, it had promise.

Food was fantastic! Personally tried the carne asada and Baja fish tacos both were excellent, although the carne asada was pretty spicy.

Bartender makes a mean Handcrafted Margarita! Thank you for that! Carne Asada tacos corn tortillas really delicious. Ahi Tuna too. Atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Our server couldn’t have been nicer and very attentive to our needs. Will definitely be back!

Went for happy hour with a few friends and got to sit in “the lounge”. Really fun, cozy environment with great options and awesome deals for happy hour. Technically indoors but had an outdoor vibe with the open garage doors. I found the apps delicious, wasn’t quite as crazy about the tacos but all in all a really good place for a quick bite to eat or to hang out for a while!
