   Production was fantastic. Great actors and very interactive. Biggest issue was the size of the audience. Too many people in a small area. At times you could not even hear the actors as there was not enough room for people to enter the rooms. Some people at our table did not even get up after a while as they new they would not be able to hear the actors anyway. Great concept but smaller audience please.

   Out of town guests, we were looking for great food, romantic setting for a celebratory birthday and thought we had found the perfect place! We didn't!! Very disappointed in our food. We ordered the board for 2... not worth the $29...barely have anything on it. Drink ordered the cherry Valentino, was so strong, tasted awful! Ordered Mushroom ragout, $26 + shrimp (an extra $9) was really looking forward to this. Biggest let down ever. It tasted awful, little hint if burnt taste to the whole dish, then my shrimp, 5 little shrimp ($9) for very hard super chewy shrimp! On top of this mess of a dish, mushrooms weren't washed...I know because I had dirt in my mouth a few different times! Gross! Of course, I couldn't eat all of this horrible meal. Then dessert, had vanilla pana cotta... wasn't bad but wasn't great. Yep, truly a magical birthday dinner... $150 for disappointment!!

   Very underwhelming. I called ahead to make sure they had a gluten free option for me and she replied oh yes tons and the chef loves a challenge!.. well I guess not the night we were there. I asked for a meal that is labelled GF on the menu and it wasn’t able to be done this week. This week it came with gluten. So I chose a pesto mushroom ragout pasta dish. It was penne pasta with quartered mushrooms covered in a pesto sauce. I prefer pesto to be just a light covering not a soup. It didn’t taste of pine nuts or anything special. My husbands steak didn’t even have salt and pepper on it.. not flavourful. Both meals were bland. My $22 glass of wine was from a bottle that was opened the day before. The waiter was kind and replaced it, but you shouldn’t have to ask for that. Everything was just mediocre and we could have cooked it better ourselves. When I go out to dinner I want to be wowed and wondering what they put in it or how it was made. That’s definitely not how we felt leaving. Also there isn’t any spaghetti on the menu..

   Very much had a Muskoka feel to the restaurant, food was good but not a wow factor, service was good, the steak was missing the sizzle. For Cottage Country was a good restaurant, may try again to see if it was a one off.

   Nice place for a good Italian meal. We were welcomed the minute we walked in the door...seated promptly. We were early in the evening, so not many people, but slowly, it started to fill up. Took a little while for the bread to come, but when it did, it was warm and fresh with a side of oil for dipping...It was very tasty. Our mains came out, the only thing i didn't like, was, my husband ordered a caesar salad to start as an appetizer, but the server ended up bringing it out with the main meal - so, while he eats the salad, his main course was getting cold from sitting on the table...drinks were served promptly, and overall the experience was very nice....i would recommend to a friend. One of the nicer places to go for dinner in Muskoka. We will be back!! Thank you.

   Sparsely decorated basement location. Smallest portion of calamari we’ve ever been served - and with plain mayo. Caesar salad, pasta very good. Service very friendly and properly attentive but the app portion and the basement vibe bring the rating down. Would return

    They came to our table 3 times to let us know they were short on the mains. We made changes to accommodate them, without much apologizing on their part. We had a member of our party, who became violently I’ll. They did not react in a proactive, or compassionate manner. In fact, they were more concerned about their reputation, than her welfare. Very disappointing for all 8 of us in attendance.

    It was very busy when we arrived but the service was quicker than expected. The waitress was always smiling and helpful. The food was overall good to great. Good sized portions. The pork belly was quite tasty. 😋 The wine list is on the short side but good choices are available. A worthwhile visit in Bracebridge!

    We had a really lovely time out on the patio. The food was delicious and our server (who's name I've forgotten but she planted the herb and veggies on the wall behind us !!!!) was so lovely and fun and attentive. Best patio and view in Town.

    Went for our anniversary. Sat on patio. Had reservation . Patio is nice . Railing near table cobwebs . Very basic no table cloth, placemat. Pizza was good , spaghetti good but not outstay for the price and portion. Wine list is limited and too pticey.. As a new resident to Bracebridge and a long time cottages this does not promote return business. This is unfortunate because the location is lovely.Has the potential to be a local favourite.Should have corkage option.

    We had a great time at the restaurant on the patio outside for Jazz night. I really enjoyed my meal and the service by Shawn was amazing I would only say that the fries were over salted and the bun for the Chicken Parm was big for the portion of chicken Will come back again!!

    Basilico is an amazing Italian restaurant. The food is incredible and the service was outstanding. I brought my wife there for our 25th wedding anniversary and loved everything about the restaurant. We definitely will be back and our server Natasha definitely needs to be praised. She was great. Thanks for a great dinner.

    Constructive feedback as follows: very slow service, no cutlery with the Gelato, but did manage to grab a fork from another table, spaghetti and dry meatballs was a child's portion at best, salmon was done nicely as was the chicken marsala. The mushroom ragout was also good. We were offered a gift card but didn't accept it. Hope this helps the owner make necessary adjustments.

    Sundays they are only open until 5pm So when booking the 4:30 spot on Open Table be aware that you have to quickly order your drinks & food. The service was good and the food was really good! My only other complaint would be that you can’t reach anyone on the phone…ever! It goes right to voicemail and after leaving a message they didn’t respond until an hour before our reservation.

    The table was nicely set for our group of 11. Our host was friendly and good with the kids. The prices were reasonable and that’s what I most appreciated. It was nice to be in a fancy place without super inflated costs. The food was hit and miss…the baked Brie was cold and the meatballs were tasteless. But otherwise it was good. I had asked for a dessert for the person celebrating their birthday, and specifically asked if a candle could be lit. I said I didn’t expect this to be free and would pay the normal dessert price. She agreed. Then a dessert showed up with no candle in it and she just said “here’s your birthday cake.” Which defeated the purpose. I still left a tip above and beyond the automatic “18% large group gratuity” (of which I was not notified ahead of time). Because I appreciate being able to go out at all. But I don’t know if we’d go back again. Maybe just as a couple.

    We had a fairly good experience. We were reccommended this place by a friend. We made a reservation and asked to sit on the patio. We were told that the best available spot was on the second deck (not the lower deck). I noticed as we were being seated, a free table right at the prime location that we were hoping for, so I suggested that we wouldn't mind waiting for it to be cleaned so that we could sit there instead. The hostess recognized that and said that she would clean it right away. She came back 2 seconds later and said that it was too busy down there and the second deck table was the best she could give us. We did not understand the reason, but we are pretty relaxed and wanted to still enjoy the experience so did not push it. After we got our drinks, we noticed that they had sat a walk in couple down at that same table, not even 5 minutes after we were denied the table. It definitely threw a curveball in to our experience and left us feeling a bit confused and disappointed. Everything else was amazing, the food was fantastic. Our server Shaun or Shawn, was one of the most delightful people we have ever met. His energy lit up the second deck. Don't lose that shine Shawn. Overall, still a great experience other than the table confusion. Thanks guys.

    We dined on a Sunday afternoon. The patio was not particularly busy (~50% capacity). Service was rather slow given how busy they were. After leaving for Toronto I realized that I got double charged on two dishes. Don’t understand how such mistakes could be made by wait staff or kitchen. I don’t think I’ll be back.

    Very lively setting. The wait staff were very attentive and the food was very good. Getting into the restaurant was a bit difficult but worth it. For those with disabilities it may not be easily accessible unless there is an elevator somewhere in the building.

    We sat outside in the evening and really enjoyed the patio lights and view of the river. It was very quaint and quiet. The food was delicious. The pizza was superb and the flavour of the fettuccini was amazing. The portion sizes were just right.
