Not what I expected. Service was good but front desk unorganized

Their streaks were good for the cost. Wish there was more variety

I had the sesame salmon bowl . It was drenched in the mayo and was not eatable to me. Hopefully next time I will try something else

Excellent and prompt service. However, the food was not great. We ordered the calamari: it was seasoned nicely but could have been a little more crispy, for my liking. We also ordered the Lobster Poutine... to be honest, it was gross. Would not recommend.

The chicken tender platter was ok. For the cost of the food, we can go elsewhere and get something better tasting.

The food here is always great even management comes and checks on you make sure that everyone's happy at the table if there's any mishaps they're always up front about it if it's going to take a little longer the servers are great the food is great overall amazing restaurant

Restaurant had excellent Covid-19 measures in place. Food was great, as were drinks. Baton Rouge in Toronto disappeared a few years ago, so anyone wanting to eat their food has to travel elsewhere. In our case, 4 friends previously accustomed to celebrating birthdays at a Baton Rouge, we decided to drive to Oakville (the closest Baton Rouge location), and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal in full safety. AAA rating!

Friendly and attentive staff. Lobster was tasty but appetizers and food overall was a disappointment in terms of flavour (especially when compared with the presentation & price). Reserved a standard table but was seated at a high top in the bar which was not ideal for a date night. Restaurant was clean and adhered to all COVID-19 protocols.

We have been to Baton Rouge Oakville many times. We love the ambience and food selection. Most times the waitstaff and great. We love that there are no TVs in the restaurant area.

Its a little difficult because due to the current situation there were so few people in the restaurant. However, our waiter was attentive amusing and helpful. The food was very good but again, due to the present situation the description of the choices was vague ( not the waiters fault )

Great experience. The food was delicious. We had made a reservation and I really appreciated the confirmation call earlier in the day. Our server was very polite and she checked in with us at just the right times. They seemed very organized. We really enjoyed our evening.

Our meal was really quite enjoyable and certainly much better than our last visit. Will be back!

It was overall so amazing! I felt safe eating here, they were very clean and the service was amazing! The food was also really good! Definitely would go back again!

The service was great; the ambiance was nice but the food was nothing like on the pictures. A bit disappointed but I believe it is a good value for large steak platters. We ordered some appetizers and shrimp, and surf and turf. The lobster was very delicious but much smaller than the actual tail that it came on. The steak was also quite good, but it was a bit too expensive for a little bit of meat and couple of broccolis. The crispy shrimp was nothing like on the pictures. It was soaked in sauce and came with not crispy anymore crackers. I ordered a salad and again, it looked like a salad you’d get from a box. Not fresh. I understand some items can’t be as good as steaks cuz it’s a steakhouse but maybe consider removing them from the menu rather than serving them in a mediocre way.

It was very normal. Nothing exceptional.

Diner was good, but pricey for what I felt we got (even thought the steak ounce sizes were transparant), seemed super small on the plate for $30!! I won't be coming back due to expensiveness.

First time I experienced Baton Rouge Steak House was in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I loved it there and was not disappointed at the Oakville ON location. Staff is exceptionable and the food was absolutely incredible. I will be back!

This is a lovely restaurant with a great ambience if you are trying to impress a date.
Greta for date night or just a nice romantic dinner. My wife and i celebrated our wedding anniversary their and the waiter was great ,also was the amount of food on the plate.
And we even were surprised with a free desert compliments of the restaurant.
i highly recommend and will be going back for many years.

Uusally we love this place, but the last outing was very disappointing. The Steak was flavorless, butter tasted more like oil, sautéed mushrooms were rushed one serving was good the other was not fully cooked, even the ceasar salad was was lacking flavor. For a $200+ Bill for 3 people your expecting a little more. Due to the current pandemic situation I would not revisit at this time.

The B/R was my favourite and go to place for many years, however the last two visits were rather disappointing to say the least. I thought the first poor visit was a fluke, but the recent second confirmed the quality has declined considerably. The dinner for two was $140 but was a rather mediocre and uneventful occasion. The famous 'all dressed' potato was undercooked, barely warm and came with just a trace of cheese and sour cream. This is the second experience with this, and is most disappointing, as this used to be the highlight of our meals. The filet was a touch tough and the side veggies were a little too 'al dente'. I feel sad that my favoured restaurant has become just another average eatery.

Fantastic meal, great service, and a perfect atmosphere.
