BC Kitchen - Parq Vancouver
Ordered nachos and wings. The nachos were quite sub-par, minimal cheese and toppings with a pile of chips. Requested additional salsa and it arrived as I was prepared to leave. The service was not prompt and efficient. Would not recommend unless additional measures actioned to enhance food quality.
Poor service, had to go to the bar for a refill. Hostess should get her coworkers email and chat that way.
Way overpriced for what you get! 26.50 for a small steak and fries, with no other sides is ridiculous. I should not still be hungry for that price. Service was good though!
Came here for the Fury vs Wilder II Boxing match, food was good, and the crowd was fun and exited for the fight. Value was good as well for the food and drink.
Service was not so good though, as our young male server got the order wrong and was hard to get a hold of for service. He also took forever after the fight to get us our bill while other staff were seemingly standing around with nothing to do.
At other casinos our server always comes around at the end of the boxing or UFC events to promptly get us our bill so we can head out to the floor to gamble and/or hit the lounge to drink and dance.
I fall in love with the place, I will come back for every fight. And I love the food!!
i booked table for 2 thereafter asked if possible get table for 4 i was advised no when we got our table for 2 there was no table for 2 instead all tables were min for 4 guests = we could have had 2 more guests join us
Service efficiency is greatly affected on a game night
Great sports bar! I receive amazing service time I go.
Very good service through and through
Staff was friendly, good experience, dine-out-Vancouver dinner for $25 was great
Service was quite poor as food came out really slow. The server was courteous but had no real knowledge of the food. There were not that many tables but the staff there seemed to be very confused. The dine out menu was pretty good value but the banana bread dessert that was recommended was quite bad (soggy bad tasting must with some ricotta cheese that looked pretty lumpy and gross)
We came out for the Dine Out event. The volume was a bit louder than we would have liked, but we did recognize that it was a sports bar after all, so we can't complain too much...it just made conversation a bit difficult. After the game was over, the noise level was much improved. Everyone loved their starter. And the braised short rib entree was very nice. The dessert did not live up to the level set by the previous 2 courses. The spice balance of the toffee pudding was heavy with cloves and not warm enough. The texture of the warm banana bread was more like a bread pudding. Service was middling: we had to ask for the Dine Out menu, then ask for cutlery and the server seemed a bit put out that one of us asked if our leftovers could be packed.
The service was really slow. We had to repeatedly ask for water and napkins. The server forgot cream fir the coffee and it was 10 mins until we could flag her down. She also brought dessert with no cutlery or napkins. We had to wait 30 + minutes for her to clear our dirty plates. Just not good enough. Very disappointed.
Very good service and payed attention to our needs
Thank you for your excellent review and rating, MikeS! We are happy to hear you had an enjoyable experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to BC Kitchen and Parq Vancouver soon! Kind Regards, Emily Davis Community Relations
Visited for appies and drinks. Great service and great nachos. Should serve with sour cream, but overall still good!
Service is ready bad. Our food came out before our drinks
Awesome service! Perfect place to watch any sports event!
Took forever to take our order then had to check back with us to make sure they got it right, which would've been okay provided they got it right. We ordered BBQ wings but they came out as the lemon ones (which I'm highly allergic to), the staff hastily swapped them over, a little too quickly which made me wonder if they'd just put a different sauce on top, when I asked the waiter to check if there was any lemon on them they told me not to eat them. So take from that what you will. Whole place seemed to be a bit of a shambles.
Large Sports Bar with games on flat screens throughout. 80’s Comfort Rock playing at a level that still allows conversation. Good, varied menu, adequate vegetarian choices. We split a falafel wrap which came with excellent house made rosemary potato chips and a side green salad. The extra order of yam fries were lovely and the spicy mayo dip was great. Prices are reasonable, and everything was nicely presented. I would put more of the snacks and finger foods that they sell at the 24 hour food counter that shares their kitchen on the menu. Vegetarian spring rolls would be a nice option, since the majority of the customers appear to be Asian. The calamari was very popular, and could serve as a nice share starter for 2 or a meal for 1.
Great place to head for a bite before the Cirque de Soleil show!
Sunday's prime rib special is a pretty good deal, however, the way to get it is very frustrating: you have to load the special onto your casino card - there's huge lineups, sometimes the computers are not working or it's difficult to access the special on the computer because it's on "the next page". Not enough casino staff around to help you, restaurant staff not helpful at all in that regard. Last time the prime rib was grilled?? but it was good! No longer Happy Hour in the afternoon - not happy about that!
Nice space. The restaurant is tucked in the corner of the casino. Reminded me of Vegas. Food was good. Service was attentive.
The food was good but the service was bad. I think we were just unlucky with service, but it would be average on an average basis.
Our server Chelsea was so helpful in helping to choose from the menu, she is so kind and her service was excellent, my friends and i would definitely come back
Need to improve food selection during ufc fights chicken salads etc
I loved the club seats and drinks choices/wine selection. I’m not a fan of pizza but theirs was amazing.
Great value, very nice venue, and showed ppv boxing with no cover. Highly recommended.
My corned beef sandwich was super dry. My friend was told her dish wasn’t spicy but it was. Disappointed with both orders. AND we had to pay $25 to park to have mediocre food.
The seating is challenging and the noise level for sporting events is a little excessive. The noise from the Casino that is!
It took 10 minutes after we were seated for anyone to realize we were there. Then we waited a very long time just to get water, our drinks, and our meals. My meal was served well before my husband..who had to wait another 10 minutes until his meal arrived. We chose the restaurant because of its proximity to BC Place as we were attending a concert. There are too many other great places to eat nearby....avoid this one!
So close to sky train and stadium! No need to bring a car into the downtown to attend any event. Super staff at BC Kitchen. We added 1 more person to our table last minute and they took care of us.
Went for bite before concert , appetizers served within 20 min BUT we waited 50 min for a turkey & beef burger , my fries cold didn’t even eat and hubby upgraded to yam fries , not served with his burger he had to wait additional 10 min for yam fries , manager said sorry were busy , BUT you are in the casino , next to BC Place Stadium & Rogers arena , it must be not unusual for you to be busy during concerts , game days , all events ? Burgers were good our server was friendly, but what’s happening in the kitchen??
Party of 4 had a reservation for 5:00pm before the Paul McCartney concert, we were there waiting in line as the hostess seated walk-ins first. Once seated it took 15 mins to take our drink and food order. It took 40 mins to get our drinks, we never got our food as we walked out after waiting an hour.
left a review on facebook. This was an awful experience.
I was very disappointed with BC Kitchen. Even coming into the Casino, the greeter tried to steer us away. I had reservations when they were totally unnecessary. We planned to come to BC Kitchen as I read reviews that they show UFC fights and other sports. I asked the server if she would change one of the channels to a FREE UFC fight on TSN. She said she could not, and if we wanted to watch anything other than what was showing, we had to sit outside in the lounge area but then a manager still had to approve of the change. Where we sat was very difficult to see any TV's at all. The food ranged from bad to good. Stay away from edamame hummus. Their happy hour specials are really just portioned downed food so you think you're saving money but you're just getting much less than their full orders. No good drink specials. Everything was just a tad bit overpriced for what we're used to getting when comparing to a place like Match Eatery in Langley. On top of this, we had to pay for parking when I read Valet Parking was originally free. I don't think we'll be back to BC Kitchen anytime soon.
It was so good
The prime ribs were over done as usual. The waiter was nice and attentive.
The restaurant Manager was not friendly and rude about the “Free” popcorn. There wasn’t any sign specifics for the Bar customers only. No management training on customer services in food industry.
At the end of the day, how much does the popcorn cost?
I don’t understand why our group wasn’t allow to have the popcorn too since my group
had spent our money on both alcohol & food.
Best service from our server Nathan he helped out so much, Our event happened to be our engagement party! So he made it super special for us! BIG THANKS TO THE SERVER NATHAN AT BC KITCHEN
The prime rib had been a little bit over done for a medium rare steak twice.
Food wasn't hot enough.
Food was great, I got the pizza and a buddy got the burger. We both liked our meal. While our server was very nice and always answered our question, the drinks were slow and I drank my buddy’s water because I never got a refill. Other than the lack of water great experience. I would totally go back.
There were 2 of us and we got nachos and a pizza to share. The pizza was decent, not enough sauce in my opinion. The nachos definitely needed more cheese, there was barely any on there. They pile up the chips so it looks really good, but its just a decoy. Their dessert (churros) was really good. I'd come back for those, but not sure if I'll be back for dinner.
