The third location of Beauty & Essex occupies 10,000 square feet of space on North Cahuenga Boulevard. The menu features Chef Santos’ signature multi-ethnic dishes including: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Dumplings, Tuna Poke Wonton Tacos, and Oven Braised Chicken Meatballs. For the first time, outdoor seating has been introduced to the brand with a ground floor courtyard and a patio on the second level. Not to be outdone, the double-height main dining room offers natural light from a 20-foot oval skylight, while an opulent private dining room that allows for a more intimate dining experience.

Beauty & Essex Los Angeles welcomes you to celebrate Valentine's Day! We will be open from 5:00pm-11:00pm and are offering our a la carte menu with specialty items from the Chef. A flat fee of $25 per person is required at booking that will go towards your final bill. [IMPORTANT: This deposit is for your reservation and will be deducted from your food and beverage spend on the night of your experience. This does NOT include taxes and gratuity which will be collected along with any food and beverage overages upon finishing your meal]. Failure to show for your reservation, as well as cancelling or modifying the reservation after Saturday, 2/11, will result in forfeit of the deposit. We look forward to seeing you there!

We had an amazing experience here. The service was prompt! Our waiter was so personable, and made great suggestions on what and how we should order based on our group’s likings. Everything we ate was delicious! We enjoyed the arepas and the dumplings the best. Great food and experience.

We went here to celebrate my friends belated birthday!!! The food was great, drink service was slowwwww though. Everything was tasty! They definitely serve good food here. The desserts on the Ferris wheel weren’t tht great, but it was a cute experience!

We had a table for 6 at 6:15 p.m. on a Tuesday night. It wasn't crowded and the service was excellent. Two hours later, we were finishing up and the restaurant was packed. While it was noisy, we could still hear each other and the service remained excellent. Two people at our table say Kanye West pass by our room. We felt like we were in the right place. The food was outstanding. We ordered one of each and shared.

Our server was so wonderful and went out of his way to make my kids feel special and accommodate our food allergies. We sat outside which we thought would be better with the kids and not quite as loud and it was exactly what we were looking for.

The food and service were top notch. My water was never more than half empty. Dirty plates were removed promptly. The food came out quickly so we could make our show and was delectable. Jimmy our server was spot on with his recommendations. We will definitely be coming back.

Beauty & Essex is one of my favorite dining spots! I took my mom here for dinner last night before we saw Mean Girls at the Pantages and we had the best time. Our server Nicole was super friendly and very helpful with food and wine recommendations. My mom is gluten free and was excited to see that the GF menu had all of the dishes from the regular menu that she wanted on it. We ordered the kale salad, scallops, and tuna sashimi and ate every bite — so good!! The atmosphere is also really wonderful here — fun and lively but also intimate. It was all in all a very fun night!

Very cool place from the moment you walk down the alley to the entrance. The pawn shop is awesome & unique. The atmosphere is very nice & the food is amazing. A must order is the grilled cheese tomato bisque appetizer. Delicious!

Service was immaculate, they were very attentive and extremely quick with bringing our food out. We ordered majority of our dishes from the Gluten Free menu and every dish that came out was better than the one before. 10/10 experience overall.

Amazing ! All the girls working there were super nice and had the best customer service. Had the roasted chicken with Mac and cheese. To die for! It was sooo good! Music was chill R&b hiphop - not too loud. 10/10 recommend

I came here with a couple of friends that were on a work trip from Nashville. We had a great time. They each raved about their espresso martinis, and I got some sort of cucumber Mock-tail that was pretty good. We got the kale salad which was awesome. My friend got the street corn ravioli, my other friend got the grain bowl, and I got the salmon and roasted broccolini. My salmon was over cooked, but the butternut squash and fried avocado garnish made up for it. My friends loved it, so all in all it was a success. Total vibes aesthetically on the interior.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was impressed by the delicious food and excellent presentation. The tomato soup grilled cheese and Margerita pan pizza were particularly noteworthy. However, the service was not up to par. Despite this, I highly recommend trying the white chocolate with berries for desert. Overall, it's a great spot for a tasty meal, but be prepared for subpar service.

My daughter and I had dinner here on a Sunday night. We loved everything about out experience. Our server was friendly, efficient and fun. The food was amazing and creative. The atmosphere was great and the addition of the live jazz was the icing on the night.
