Cool atmosphere! Friendly & helpful staff. A hidden gem in Long Island City!
The restaurant is perfect for a date spot. The decor is relaxing and the staff is friendly. The food comes fast, so if you are hungry, it won't take too long! The pizza is a good choice and you can't go wrong trying something new. The calamari is delicious as well as the Brussel sprouts. I will definitely have to come back to try the desserts.
pizza good, other food blah, service laughable - two employees (including the bartender) serving the entire restaurant on a Friday night with two large groups present (clearly had a heads up on that) - a lot of potential but this place sadly won’t last
Fantastic experience. The fresh ricotta and meatballs were delicious. The vodka pie was fantastic and the service was excellent. Highly recommended
Simply fantastic! All the dishes we tried were phenomenal. Everything well made and delicious! I super recommend
Pastas and pizzas were outstanding. As were the mussels. This is a true neighborhood find.
A table of 4, we shared 3 pizzas: the stracciatella, the hot Italian, and the campfire. All were excellent. Generally, Beebe's was an excellent dining experience. What's off is that it's tucked inside a hotel, attracting what appeared to be a tourist-heavy clientele, which is a bit of a shame in my jaded-New-Yorker opinion. The ambiance, food, and service at Beebe's are all such that it easily ranks among the best pizza places in LIC. More locals should frequent it!
Smothering service. Felt very rushed. Food was delicious though.
The pizzas we had were absolutely delicious: thin, crisp crust, delicious, fresh toppings. The salad my husband had was delicious as well. The restaurant is located in the Boro Hotel. It was quite quiet for a Saturday night. The wines by the glass were exemplary. The service was excellent. My only criticism would be that the lighting was too bright. Fewer and lower lights would make the space feel cozier and more festive . The patio space is attractive; again, better lighting would improve it.
Don’t be surprised if they don’t award your 100 points. Dead restaurant.
Great pizza and the burger is great too! Nice atmosphere.
Their Special pizza was burned. Half the thinly sliced salamis were carbon and the edges of the crust were also burned
This was my third visit to Beebe's and it gets better every time! The menu was recently updated and our waitress--she was friendly and attentive--recommended some dishes which turned out to be very good. Try the chicken parm, and the house made ricotta! I'll definitely go to Beebe's again.
Food, decor, and service were all great. The sun was very bright though, and their windows have no shade.
Kind staff, great pizza, good desserts, very good pistachio gelato and tiramisu, the hotel is also beautiful, we just loved everything and will be back, besides recommending it to everyone.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They helped us with everything we needed for the birthday celebration!
My sister and I arrived at boro hotel. The restaurant Beebe’s is located in the back portion of the lobby. But when we arrived outside we walked towards one of the two entrances, we approached the entrance with the sticker on the window that said Beebe’s while the other door had a sticker that said boro hotel. We thought we picked the right entrance. However the bouncer told us this is only for a the rooftop. So we walked down to the boro hotel entrance when we got in we noticed that the entrance the bouncer didn’t allow us to enter was the closer entrance to Beebe’s restaurant and would’ve allowed us to enter in either way! It was so stupid! It was 92° outside we were dying and he could’ve just let us pass and told us not to enter the elevator where the rooftop led. Moving on, we entered the back portion of the lobby where the restaurant was and stood by what looked like a hostess booth. Waiters were everywhere about 15 workers walking casually to counters and the kitchen. However there was no one sitting and dinning. We were the only customers. No one seated us. Finally one of the pizza chefs all the way in the back of the open kitchen saw my sister and I standing irritably still waiting to be seated. He mouthed “sit anywhere”. So we picked a seat where it looked like it had the least amount of sun shining since we were so hot from outside however everywhere we tried to pick had the sun beaming through the restaurant’s glass windows that had no shade or blinds. The AC didn’t feel like it was turned onto a cool temperature, there were no fans to keep the air flowing as well. When we sat down finally, another couple came in about 10 minutes after us. We didn’t get menus yet, but because the couple looked but older than us perhaps 30s while were in our 20s they were served first. A waitress approached their table and gave them menus and water. This is not 15/20 minutes into us sitting. No one gave us water or menus. 25 minutes later finally we received menus.
Casual. High quality. Delicious.
Amazing Pizza! Their Nutella Dessert is also delicious. I noticed they used paper straws, which in my opinion would make them eco friendly. Overall, it was an incredible experience!!
It was a nice environment somewhat pricey but overall good.
Beebe's never disappoints! Have been back numerous times and always have a great experience! Our waitress was lovely, can not remember her name but was not obsequious. Food was excellent and the nutella bread pudding is our of this world!
Meh. Pizza was decent - not outstanding as many reviews claim - service was nice although one waiter was not particularly friendly. Really nice patio.
As a Hotel Manager, I understand trying to staff a restaurant on certain nights.....Beebe's website promotes outdoor seating and thus creates a situation where if you are understaffed, you will be crushed. On Friday, June 30th...at 6:45...there were not enough staff to successfully serve guests is a timely fashion. This is disturbing, since this is a place that can be a very successful business in Long Island City. This is a management problem. The service staff were crazy busy and did their best, and all I could do was sympathize with the situation they had been placed in...I casual, local Queens place that wants to survive and hold on to talented service people needs to set everyone up for success, and make Beebe's what it should be: A great LIC place for food & drink, and a destination for all... Thank you.
I really enjoyed myself. Would go back. Food was healthy and delicious. I wanted to sit with a water view. Yelped that in my criteria. Thought I was going to be on the water and I wasnt
Cool, sophisticated Manhattan-loft kind of ambience. Delicious food. Good service. A little out of the way: worth it.
The waitress was barely friendly and made it seem inconvenient that we were there. $10 for a small bowl of fries and $26 for a grilled chicken with arugula, not a great use of money in a dead area of LIC.
We had a very nice Mother’s Day brunch with my wife and 14month old daughter. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will definitely return.
This place is a LIC hidden gem (literally tucked away in the Boro Hotel).
Solid pizza spot in LIC. Nothing super memorable but enjoyable the appetizers and no complaints
The waitress was not very accomadating for our group. She wanted us to all share things whereas we wanted to order our own things.
I wanted to like this place but the service was pretty terrible.
Just awesome pizza, really F'ing good! The ricotta and pizza bianca app was fresh and delicious. Marinated olives were a good contrast to the richness of the ricotta.
The food was good but we were so rushed that it ruined the meal. It was our wedding weekend and we were staying at the hotel upstairs. We’d booked a table for 20 people and unfortunately 5 of our group got caught in traffic and were very late. The servers were mulling around the table like hawks, whispering and pointing the entire time. You need one of the tables for another party; I get it, I’ve worked in the industry. So they take one of the smaller tables away and STILL the hovering continues. Then the server clears the entire table, despite the fact that we were all still hungry, and says “do you want anything else?” Well no, I guess not now after you made us all feel like we need to
leave. Rude. And the worst part was that as we grabbed a few drinks at the bar afterwards, the place never even filled up. The entire hotel reeked of marijuana all weekend too. Some way to treat a wedding party!!
Fantastic pizzas and burgers. Cocktails were great. Attentive and on point service from friendly staff.
The food was great but it's in the middle of nowhere on a semi-vacant street. The service was extremely slow at first (we had to get up and ask for drinks) but then picked up once the food actually arrived.
The pizza was amazing though.
