デート

In Milan, in the Tortona area, a stone's throw from the Navigli, there is an intimate and cosy bistrot that mixes vintage and contemporary to perfection. Let yourself be conquered by this atmosphere and feel like a protagonist on a journey into food culture and flavours, where the traditions and experience of the Fontani family, owners of the restaurant and successfully present in the catering world for years, are a guarantee of innovation and taste.

Had high expectations of an excellent meal. Unfortunately, disappointed. Restaurant is at least 10-15 minute walk from Metro. Well appointed restaurant. Wine glasses dusty, wine bottle on table dusty and label torn (turns out this is a pepper mill - but no explanation of what it is until the end of the meal). Bathroom lacked a lock and toilet seat damaged. The servers hovered over but they were not engaged. Positives: we had veal cutlet milanese and sides of salad, potatoes (excellent) and vegetables. Not expensive for four. Restaurant needs to up their game because the food was really very good. During dessert, a bus load of people arrived and we were pleased we had finished.
