We had a wonderful dinner at Benares in Wyckoff! We started with the delicious Eggplant Chaat and Barrah Kebab, followed by Tandoori Chicken, Goat Curry, Biryani, and Lamb Saag. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The food and service at Benares are consistently excellent, which is why it remains one of our favorite spots for Indian cuisine. We always enjoy our experience and will definitely keep coming back!

Restaurant was clean and quiet. Good value for the selection of food. Staff was attentive and friendly! They made great recommendations for the Eggplant Chaat as a starter. We ordered the Rogan Josh, medium spice, as our main, which could’ve been spicier for our taste but was good overall. Free refills on the rice was nice as well. The only miss for us was the Mango Lassi, but otherwise we enjoyed a nice evening.

We go to Benares often. The food is always delicious and the servers are attentive. We are lucky to have several good Indian restaurants nearby, but Benares is our favorite.

We loved everything about our dining experience. The Dal Makani and Palak Paneer entrees were excellent. Loved the salad too. The Garlic Naan was the best we've ever had.

We love this place! I bought a friend who really wanted to try Indian food and order the chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, saag, paneer and shahi paneer, along w garlic naan, and she absolutely loved it. We come to this place weekly because the food is so flavorful and delicious! It is by far my favorite Indian restaurant in North Jersey. I am Indian myself and I can tell you this food is authentic, and done the right way . They also have added a few dishes with a modern twist as well, which I thoroughly enjoyed. In the past, I have ordered their lamb chops, which is spiced well, and also the eggplant chaat which is super crispy and you get a little bit of a tangy sauce as well as a sweet sauce and also topped with a yogurt sauce as well. It is a flavor bomb in your mouth. I can’t rave enough about this place. The staff is super friendly and professional. The restaurant that’s office is clean, and the decor is eclectic. This place is a must try if you are searching for an authentic and delicious experience.
