Bertucci's - Hingham

When it comes to Grilled Chicken Marsala, Bertucci’s version just hits home for me. Always so so enjoyable.

Nothing makes you feel so good as having something relatively simple, Spaghetti & Meatballs. Debbie’s service was great and had a welcome visit from Kiley who now works Friday instead of Monday.

Grilled Chicken Marsala is always wonderful. Always worth the visit when you need some comfort food.

Rigatoni Abruzzi always hits the spot, particularly with the BOGO offer.

Bertucci’s in Hingham has been our family go-to dining spot for years and, our meal yesterday didn’t disappoint. If you haven’t been to a Bertuccis, do yourself a favor and check it out. The décor is warm and inviting and, the open kitchen allows you to see the chefs do their magic. Dinner time gets busy, so we usually reserve a table online.

The menu is your traditional Italian Style family restaurant with lots of pasta dishes to chooses from, but we usually head straight for the brick oven pizza menu. Last night it was a Margherita Pizza and a Pepperoni Pizza, along with a large salad. Plenty of food to feed the six of us. The pizza is a delicious thin crust, slightly chewy with a nice char on the bottom from the brick ovens. The sauce has just the right amount of zest and the cheese is plentiful without having to go Xtra. And I can’t say enough about the rolls that are served straight from the oven. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious.

What made our dining experience “review worthy” was the amazing service we received from Jan. She was everything you would want in a server. Pleasant, fast, ready to refill our drinks, bring out fresh rolls, just all-around wonderful person.

I wanted something nice hot to warm my inside. The great Spaghetti & Meatballs came through for me. Steaming hot!

Can’t say enough about the Grilled Chicken Marsala. Just so special for me to enjoy.

Only customer, me, on this visit. BOGO Pasta day. Got the mighty Fine Rigatoni Abruzzi. Can’t be beat! Debbie made me 2 excellent Irish Coffees, as well. Hot food and hot drink keeps me toasty warm.

The Grilled Chicken Marsala was absolutely superb. Everything was prepared perfectly and Linda’s service was excellent as always.

I got Spaghetti & Meatballs and another to take home for free. How can you beat that? Also, the meatballs had a new and mighty fine recipe. You got three instead of four, but they were larger. Loved them.

Sometimes a meal is brought to the that says that somebody likes me. That was the case with the Rigatoni Abruzzi that was brought my way. Somebody behind the scenes made it a special night for me for the meal I wholeheartedly enjoyed.

Enjoyed a very nice and well prepared Grilled Chicken Marsala. Exquisite service was provided by Jan and the behind counter staff.

Rigatoni Abruzzi, one of my usuals when you just need something comforting. Enjoyed an awful lot.

Had one of my favorite comfort food offerings, Rigatoni Abruzzi.

The Grilled Chicken Marsala was absolutely fabulous from the presentation to my enjoyment throughout my meal. My waitress, Linda, who always provides superb service, even said to me “somebody likes you”. I particularly liked the generous amount of mushrooms to go along with the excellently prepared broccoli, roasted potatoes, grilled chicken and Marsala broth. Many thanks for such great preparation and the presentation of same.

If you are in need of very flavorful comfort food, Rigatoni Abruzzi is it.

I enjoyed the grilled chicken Marsala so much last so, I got it again.

I’ve been going here since they first opened this location, maybe 40 years ago approximately. I’ve never had the grilled chicken marsala that whole time. Boy, was that good. Roasted red potato wedges, steamed broccoli, grilled chicken, mushrooms and gravy.Again, boy, was that good.

I’ve been switching it up quite a lot recently. So, I decided to return to my old standby, Spaghetti & Meatballs. I love my pasta, particularly spaghetti. What is great about Bertucci’s version is the fact that they do not over spice their meatballs. Just so enjoyable not to have them keep coming back at you overnight which over spiced ones do. Simply delicious to go with the great pomadoro sauce.

I changed it up this evening by having their salmon meal. I had not had this in too many years to count even though it is excellent. The last time I had it preparation took place in the brick oven with the salmon sitting on top of the spinach. They also included those little red potatoes with no slicing required. Now, the salmon is grilled rare, medium rare, medium, medium well or well. I used the default medium. It was placed on the oval plate with roasted red potatoes large enough to make wedges and the same baby spinach as I had many years before. I think the spinach had bits of garlic used tastefully on top. I like this version they have,now, very much and may try the salmon medium well or well next time I have it. I like the crispy edges which the medium does not get.

You can’t beat the mix of flavors in the Rigatoni Abruzzi. Sausage, large chunks of bell pepper, nothing better to go with the wonderful spicy sauce all mixed in with the properly cooked rigatoni.

Sometimes you need spaghetti & meatballs when comfort is the top priority. Loved it as usual. Debbie provided great service.

Had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was great. I got it on this visit with the grilled chicken. You can also get it coated with breading which is also great for a change of pace. I don’t know how that get the spaghetti so hot. I love the temperature nice and hot, as I really enjoy it with the sauce which a nice pomadoro with chunks of tomato. Just a great take in.

Spaghetti & Meatballs. Enough said. They are always wonderful. Short staffed on a busy, but usually quiet Monday. Many customers outdoors kept Kiley running around to keep up. She always puts a lot of effort into keeping customers happy.

When you need comfort food, Rigatoni Abruzzi fits the bill. Great preparation and service by Debbie.

The visit was to get the half price lasagna on Lasagna Day. It was absolutely wonderful.

Rigatoni Abruzzi served up by Linda just plain his the spot for comfort food.

Noting better than spaghetti & meatballs. I particularly like the chunks of tomatoes and red onions in the sauce. Great because the onion don’t overwhelm the rest. Jan is always delightful as a server.

We had such a great server, who made dining a nice and comfortable experience.

Had the vegetable pizza for the first time. Great!

Keep coming back for more because of the great service from great staff. I just totally enjoy myself.

Staff doing a great job keeping us safe during the pandemic. Seems like corporate changed some ingredients. Hope its temporary

Spaghetti & Meatballs is always my feel good food during this pandemic. Top it off with glasses of lemonade. Nothing to help keep me feeling great. Thank you Bertucci’s and my waitress Debbie.

Sat outside. Staff wore masks. We ate at 5pm so the restaurant wasn't that busy. Good meal.

Just have to love their Spaghetti & Meatballs. The fat spaghetti, the chunks of tomato in the sauce and the meatballs make this my go to meal. Kiley always gives me the greatest of service.
