Bertucci's - Mansfield Crossing

Made reservation thru Open Table for 7:30pm. Arrived on time and was told to wait a few minutes. Then was told that others were ahead of us and it would be a little longer. Then noticed host was seating other patrons who were coming in without reservations. After making host aware we shouldn’t have to wait.. because we called in our reservation before 7pm..he informed us that it’s their policy.. that if parties just show up off the street..and they arrive before parties that have made reservations... they seat them first..regardless of the reservation list. We waited 30 min. as others without reservations were being seated before us. We didn’t leave because at that point it would have been difficult to find a reservation open elsewhere. We were also accidentally charged for food that wasn’t ours..they ended up taking it off our final bill. At no point did the host or manager apologize for the inconvenience of us waiting with a reservation. We will not be returning here again and we advise everyone not to make reservations and expect to be seated on time. I don’t think they understand how Open Table and reservations work at this restaurant. They shouldn’t be allowed to make online reservations any longer in our opinion.

We were lucky enough to have Kayla who has helped me in the past! We sat outside and it was lovely out! It was very busy, but as busy as they were all Covid rules were followed beautifully! I’ve been helped by Kayla before, but the people we were with noticed how efficient and lovely she was!

Under the circumstances of the pandemic our experience was great

I realize and always take into consideration restaurants are trying to do the best they can during this trying time. Having said that...we were given an extremely dirty highchair, no silverware, no plates for rolls, we were given a lunch menu as we were at noon but then brought dinner menus because it was a Saturday, never asked for refills or given salad, or kids desserts. Food was subpar.

Food was amazing and the drink was fabulous! Love the individual pizza and salad.

I love this Bertucci's location and have given them positive reviews in the past. In the current global health crisis, they seemed to have taken necessary precautions but I question the use, and re-use, of fabric towels to clean the tables and seats. It seems to me that disposable wipes or paper towels would be much more hygienic. Our server was super but I kind of wish she hadn't hovered over me while taking talking about the menu or taking our order. Finally, it would be wonderful if they had gluten-free bread for sandwiches and at least one GF dessert option.

We were seated quickly, after making reservations on line the chicken piccata was a 9. The deep fried skin peeled off when cutting it. I had better but still delicious. I rather see a full restaurant than half empty. The music was playing was oldies which I loved.

We made a reservation and were seated right away. Food came out as ordered. Waitstaff excellent.

This was the first week that outdoor dining was allowed. The staff did the best that they could to accommodate us. The food was excellent. Short wait for table, everything was thoroughly cleaned

Everything was outstanding. And we were so happy to be able to go out to eat again...even if it was outdoors. Also it was very easy to book a reservation through Open Table

Love Bertucci’s. Always a great meal. Rolls are delicious. Never had a bad meal there.

They have changed the recipe for the dish that I usually order. Great place to take young children or families. Waitress was great.

Excellent. Never disappointed with the food or the service,

we were sat in the bar. The bartender was slow to serve us and seemed to be talking to other servers. we had no utensils and had to ask for various things then hurry up and wait. Awful service.

Food and service staff were great. Our only complaint was that that the staff was unable to use the open table reservation system to log us in.

4 of us had dinner On a Saturday evening. Each of us liked our food, we had a great waitress, and we were able to have a nice discussion for the several hours that we were there.

nicole rocks the bar with whom appear to be "regulars". she's likable, professional and remembers your special requests. at the outset, nicole's a good reason to sit at the bar.

We frequent this location often. Thin crust pizzas are great and the pizza dough rolls are wonderful. Bertucci's has great deals. Also make sure you sign up for email offers.

Not sure why they even use open table. The last two times I have told them we made reservations using this app they get snippy and say it either doesn’t work or this last time they will add me to the call ahead list. Really makes no sense and it’s absolutely rude! On the other hand both times our servers were great.

Making a reservation didn’t help get us a table. When we arrived the hostess said she would put our name down and we waited almost a half hour. My husband ordered a large pizza and they brought a small which was burned. He kept it since the rest of us had our food. They did make him a large which they didn’t charge for and we brought home. Have had better meals there.

nicole served us at the bar. she was great! we looove their antipasto and my piccata was just as i asked for it to be. great job all!!

Awful. Arrived for reservation, and hostess said they were having technical issues with open table so we were out of luck. One hostess actually laughed when we said we had an open table reservation.

This location doesn't accept online reservations or waitlist signup. Please remove them from open table.

They didn’t honor our reservation. We got there showed our 6:15 reservation confirmation the hostess proceeded to tell us that their system wasn’t working. Then was very unsympathetic about a situation and put it on us on the back of the list with our 2 year old on tow.

Meal was very good. They were very busy and our reservation was lost, but they seated us after we checked with the hostess.
