Restaurant followed Covid procedure. Only complaint was the soup wast hot enough

Restaurant clean, well spaced out

always good food. You know what you’re getting.
Service was efficient but not intrusive.
Prices have gone up but I don’t begrudge the slight increase when the hospitality industry is in need.
Have never left disappointed.

My family loves Big Bowl.
Always a treat and fabulous service.

Great way to bounce back after the Covid shutdown. Service was great. Waitress was super attentive and offered great customer care. Food delicious as always. Too bad cocktails were not an option. Nonetheless, will go back in a heartbeat.

We have been visiting here for 15 years now and it never fails to win us over. Penang chicken curry has all of us under it’s spell!

The food was poorly prepared and the food seemed to be just slopped on the plate.

Haven't dined there in decades, as we moved away, but we were hoping to see if the food was still great, and brought some friends along. Appetizers of Calamari and Sushi and Peanut Noodles were very good to excellent. Main courses were basically average however. Fortunately a very gracious Waiter helped improve it all.

Visiting Chicago for a play. Had a chance to visit the Big Bowl for lunch. Excellent customer service. Our server was very attentive and personable. Our food was delicious, hot and generous! Will be back for more!

Went during alentines day weekend, and ordered from the Valentines special menu. It was the best! Although they were very busy, our food came out fast and fresh. Will visit again.

Overall cool atmosphere. It seemed like our food order was lost in the shuffle multiple tables who arrived after us were served before us and an appetizer order was totally lost/not placed with the kitchen. Once brought to the managers attention, they were very friendly and attentive and followed up on the food order. The server was a little MIA during our time in the restaurant. The food was ok. Very large portions. Nice lunch combination menu.

Excellent waitor. Really liked all the healthy options. Perfect for children. The Lunar New Year menu had some nice options

Came in for lunch on Monday, Jeremey was our server and he was fantastic! He was super patient with my friend and I and was extremely friendly. I’ve dined at Big Bowl multiple times and live only a few blocks away and this was, by far, the best experience we’ve had thanks to Jeremey!

Im a Big Bowl regular and one of my favorite dishes is the spicy Sichuan beef, I order it almost every time we go. This time around it was way too spicy, it looked like the chef dumped a tablespoon of chili sauce on it (I can see the sauce and seeds). I told the waiter and he suggest I get it without the red peppers. I knew the issue wasn’t the peppers, I always get it the same way without adjusting the peppers, but he insisted and I said, ok, easy peppers. It came back with like 2 red peppers and no flavor...I ate it because I was hungry and didn’t have time to send it back but it was not good at all.

Our waiter was extremely nice and attentive to our allergy needs. Food was delicious as always . We added an additional person to our party and moved tables with no issues. Overall nice dinner.

One of our all-time favorites! Service was excellent and so was dinner, my only complaint is I asked for my cauliflower ( I stay away from rice) to be overcooked and it wasn't it was crunchie. Otherwise cocktails were good!

Food was terrible - overcooked and nearly burnt! Very slow service!
