The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were helpful and also incredibly friendly and the wine list is to die for!

Much needed night out for dinner and drinks. Service was great but the meal portions was a huge let down. We ordered kingfish, pasta special, duck special, lamb and pumpkin for 4x people. We even asked if it was enough food and waiter said yes. My gosh we left still hungry, the pumpkin was a joke! A tiny slither for $22! We all looked at it and were a bit puzzled! I've been to this restaurant twice before and never experienced this. I mean the cocktails are great but just don't come here to be fed. Super disappointed..

The papardelle was outstanding. Would certainly go back for that. The service was perfect, and the atmosphere was really nice. Although the cheese board was a bit underwhelming, not really worth the price.

This place offers an amazing vibe. The music in here is really good! The choice of drinks is amazing. The food, even though a limited options, one won't be disappointed. Must visit!

Had a 2 hour block, got kicked out 45 mins early because she wanted to free up the table. Waitress was blunt and not welcoming, but the food was lovely which made up for it. The rest of the staff were really nice too.. unfortunately sometimes there’s one person who ruins the experience not only for the diners but for the face of the restaurant. Would still recommend.

Top class service

Big Poppas is a little bit noisy. - but you expect that from this type of venue - so be aware of that before you go. We always love it because the staff are great, the food is consistently good (can’t get away from the lamb parpadlle), the wines are fairly priced and good selection.
Love the seating around the walls - super comfy. And thank you for being a venue where you can get a full late night meal - you usually have to go to Europe for that!!

Staff were warm and hospitable as soon as we entered. Food and drinks were delicious and fresh. The ambiance was great too!
Also, a little birthday dessert surprise was a cute gesture.
Completed our wonderful dinner experience here.
We will definitely be back soon.

Only question... if it’s loud with people can they adjust music to match it... my dad is under 50 fit and healthy but he battled to hear me and I just yelled the whole time! Loved it though.

The burrata, steak, and prawns were honestly so perfect. Some of the best prawns I've ever had. The cocktails amazing too. Our server was attentive and kept coming to check on us. He even noted to tell us that the kitchen would be getting busy soon so to get our orders in ASAP. The only thing was the music was a tad too loud. My friend and I had a great time but had to yell across the table to talk.

The food was unreal, decent portion sizes & very tasty - good value for money! It’s a bit loud however they sit you close to each other so it was alright. Very attentive and enthusiastic staff with good recommendations

Amazing service can’t remember the name of the guy That worked the 12th Thursday night but he was an all rounder with the service and always had a good joke to crack.

Excellent service! Our server was very outgoing and personable and did a great job with recommendations for dietaries. Papperadelle Lamb Ragu a must. The evening special, white truffle Tagliatelle was to die for. Wide variety and reasonably price wine list! Highly recommend!

I booked my reservation accidentally for the wrong night and the host was kind enough to find us a seat although it was a busy Friday night.

Great food and a friendly bunch of staff. Definitely a place to check out. The Lamb pasta was so fresh and amazing.

We have eaten here a few times and its always been great.

Unfortunately this time it really wasn't great.

Tuna Crudo was bland $26
The Lamb Ragu was a very small portion and had barely any sauce $31
Vegetables side $20. Just roasted veggies in a yogurt. Uninspiring

Overall we felt like we had been taken for a ride :(

Awesome fit-out, great staff and top quality food but small portions for the price. Alcohol was expensive too.

Thank you to the waiter 'Alex' who was fantastic and had a big impact on us all (a young group). The bathroom was a bit iffy so it made me think "what do the other places you can't really see look like?". Besides that though and the price boosted wines I had literally one of the best nights I've ever had out because the food, wine, service and ambience were spot on. Thank you to the chef and Alex who made the night exceptional.
