Selection of food is a bit mundane and needs more selection The staff were fantastic ,friendly and so happy to serve us Perhaps in the future people might be able to just order a complete meal from a menu It might pay to send a spy to Hexam and see what they are doing But overall love the place and the people that run it and will be back it is a great eating experience

I posted a review on your Facebook page yesterday after lunch

We were regulars at Billabongs prior to the Pandemic and we appreciate the efforts taken to re-open in the circumstances. However, the set menu really didn't work for us. Despite repeatedly telling the host no one at the table ate seafood she pushed a mixed entree onto us which contained mostly seafood so no one ate it. The dishes were explained to us as 'portion sized' and were all served on very small bread plates which didn't feel like generous serves. The options were also quite limited on the set menu and we felt it was not very good value for money. We had been excited to finally eat out again but we were disappointed. We love Billabongs and their very hardworking staff, but unless and until the restaurant returns to all you can eat buffet, we won't be back and can't recommend the place to anyone else.

It was way too busy as it was mother’s day, the food was too cold and it was too crowded to get food

My party of 3 were in the 2nd seating of the night. The staff were great but the kitchen needs to up the anti when it comes to have food ready ie vey little or no fried rice available or noodles when dishing up a meal. Service was impeccable tho. Staff were very friendly and quick to clear tables away.
I'll be back with my family. This was my first dinning experience at Billabongs as I was working with clients.

My wife and I dine at the Billabong occasionally for lunch but we have not been for dinner for some time. We were not disappointed at all and found the fare for the evening to be of excellent quality and quantity. Keep up the great work.

There is too much break between every show on the stage

Food was terrible. Somethings were cold, wasn’t anything that I liked even though there were lots of options

We booked for 1pm Sunday lunch and the food was not up to its usual standards. By the time we got to dessert there was very little choice left. Some of the food had obviously been sitting in the bain maries for quite some time and was soggy.

Needed another bar member to serve in the restaurant bar. Waited 10 mins to be served. no eftpos service at the bar. wait staff sometimes blocked the narrow walkway with their clean up trolley. Maybe park the trolley out of the walkway but overall a very good night

This smorgasbord has the best selection & variety of food of any I have experienced & I am 72 years young so I've had a few.The prawns on the night were really fresh & everything was cooked well.They have the formula.
The staff were very attentive & the drinks being at club prices is a bonus.

Alot of variety, however the prawns did not look fresh. I love prawns, but they didn't pass my expectations. All other food was enjoyable though. Thank you Billabong's for a lovely afternoon :)

Food could of been better was a very bussy night though ao maybe tht was the problem

Reservations on-line was easy and our table was ready when we arrived. The food was excellent.

Sadly, have visited many times and the food has always been fantastic. This time (lunch 12 noon Saturday 12th August) the food was very dry, overcooked and of poor quality. I asked the waitress if new people have taken over the restaurant-in which she said 'yes', the owner however said 'No', shrugged off my comments and walked away without a care in the world. We won't be back again, my birthday this year at Billabongs was very disappointing indeed-such a shame, in fact all 5 of us were not happy at all, waste of good money. Will look elsewhere for a better venue.......

This is a great place to meet up with family/friends for birthdays etc.
