Bill's Restaurant & Bar - Chichester

Last meal before lockdown & Xmas Eve. All good - just found the service charge a bit cheeky but the waitress was good so didn’t mind that much. We’ll be back again soon hopefully.

Great food, great value for money, friendly waiting staff

Friendly welcome and good service. Food we ordered was nice. Unfortunately never have the dessert I want to go for. We went at 6pm and the White chocolate bread and butter pudding was already unavailable?

All round great for us and the kids and perfect lunch after the theatre

Coffee slow to arrive and luke warm.
Scrambled eggs also like warm and seemed like they had been cooked for a while!
Asked for ketchup, never got it!
Waiters abrupt and clearly not listening!
Shame because we always go to Bill's because of good quality but nit this time. Very POOR EXPERIENCE ☹

Overall, a really enjoyable meal. Reasonably priced. Clean and tidy. My friend and I had a nice catch up.

Always a great place to eat. Bit confusing as to what meant to do when arrive as covid but food great and staff all friendly.

The food was nice enough however unfortunately 3 of us ordered medium rare steaks and my daughters came out well done. They eventually replaced it however by the time it arrived the rest of us had finished. No discount offered and 12.5% service charge added to the bill. Disappointed.

Very welcoming. Food generally good. Burger buns very cold (possibly only just defrosted) which made the dinner cool very quickly. Other food very nice.

Visit regularly for brunch. Good menu and good food but service can be slow.

As a family we love bills in Chichester, the best breakfast.

Lovely food, service friendly but slow. Not happy that the 'optional service charge' is clearly not. It is added to the total and the card machine does not have an option to remove it. Bills obviously know that many people would not like to have to ask the waiter to remove it so they pay even if they would rather not. That system needs changing.

The meal and service was reasonable, they have been better in the past. I also a little disappointed that they weren't as regimental as they had been with regards to COVID. Previously they would only accept customers who'd booked and walk-in's were turned away. They also did temperature checks before you entered the premises but this appears to have now stopped... tables were cleaned, however chairs etc were not.... It is a good restaurant but I do feel standards have been allowed to slip slightly.

Relaxed informal family atmosphere. Good, healthy good with plenty of breakfast options. The pressed juices are delicious.

My husband and I had lunch at chichester restaurant. We were well spaced from the next table. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing, Well presented and a good amount with lots of flavour. We will definitely go there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Bills. Good atmosphere, not too loud but sociable. corvid restrictions reasonably in place. Food was good and the service was excellent, patient and efficient.

I booked Bills for a first date having never been in Chichester or a Bills restaurant before I was a little unsure, however it was a recommendation from a friend. We ordered starters/ main/ Desert and 2 drinks for myself and 1 drink for my date. Overall the bill came to roughly £88 which I thought was fair price as the food was great!

We where sat down near the bar which was nice as I am a fan of the cocktails. All drinks where made excellently and the last serving us was enthusiastic and very detailed with all of the food and drinks options.

Staff did intrude too much which I think is important and left just about the right amount of time between courses. For starter we go Hallumi sticks which where great and the jam sauce dip was lovely. Mains a burger which was also great, not too big. Then desert chocolate brownie which btw is VERY rich but thats a good thing although a little bigger scoop of ice-cream would help balance it.

Overall fantastic evening, great food, fair price, lovely environment and obviously great company ;-)

Excellent service and experience! Had a lovely meal and cocktails.

There were a couple of hiccups, but both were rectified and apologies consistently made. I felt this improved the experience to know that you’ll be taken care of.
The food was delicious.

Really great food as usual from Bills. They allowed me to substitute bread with fries which was ideal and the crab cakes were delicious! I was informed that you no longer do Blue Light discount which is a shame.

Really good service and very well spaced out in the restaurant

Great Burch/ breakfast. Only fault bacon could off done with 30seconds more. Do wish you could have a mug , not cup and saucer. But that being fussy.

We felt very happy with the spacing between the tables and with sanitizer on each table. Menu choice was very varied and service was very good and the waitress friendly.

We love Bill's. It is very covid friendly and everyone was wearing masks when not at their table. The service was great and food fabulous, as usual.
We would like draft beer to be an option.
Definitely recommend bill's.

Friendly staff. We did not have to wait too long for drinks and then food. We did think the tables were a little close together, in view of the present pandemic. Food very tasty.

Good food and service in lively (as much as is possible with the covid!) atmosphere. A bit cold sitting near the window.
