Very friendly staff and the food was excellent as well as the service.
Food cold, service awful. Had to keep asking for cutlery, sauces, extra items ordered
We sat outside which was lovely. Waitresses really friendly, food lovely and great deals on wine and food.
Patio heaters needed for outside though in winter.
The service was really fantastic, we had the set menu which is also amazing value.
Couldn’t fault anything.
Booking system easy. Everything else great. Covid measures in place and work well. A really good experience. We’ll be back soon!
Lovely venue, lovely staff but the feel the food was a bit overpriced for what it was.
Lovely food as usual but was fairly surprised at how full it was given all other restaurants space out their guests much more leaving tables empty to socially distanced. The tables felt very close together and I did not feel entirely safe eating there
This was our first dining out experience since lock down started in March .
Can only say the breakfast was absolutely delicious . The staff were great and service was quick but not hurried . Look forward to our next meal at Bills

I have not always had a great experience when visiting Bills around South-East England but this was the first time I have dined at their Epsom restaurant and I was pleasantly pleased: Yes, the food is a bit pricey but I was expecting that before I even looked at the menu. The staff were very friendly & attentive and their adherence to the current Covid-19 health requirements was exemplary, I was offered a table that fully satisfied my booking requests and the service was very quick (although I did dine in the early evening, when the restaurant was not very busy). However it's mainly about the food right ? and the meal that I had was exceptional. For the record I had the Crispy Chicken and Sesame Dumplings as a starter and the Crab Cakes as my main course and I would heartedly recommend both (I did not have a desert). Both were only very lightly spiced and both were delicious. Additionally (and almost equally important because I am a big guy with a big appetite), both came in good sized portions - none of your Nouvelle cuisine here. Something I do not particularly like is restaurants that include their service charge in the bill - effectively telling you what they think your service was worth. Bills in Epsom added an optional 12.5% service charge to my bill. Normally, in circumstances like this, I pay the service charge to the penny (out of principal) but on this particular occasion my whole experience was so enjoyable that I rounded my bill up and actually paid a service charge of over 20%
Despite being overstaffed it took 40 minutes to get a starter that was mediocre at best and when I ordered menu items that I wanted were not available and staff did not offer to replace it or compromise. My steak was tough and fatty and the pudding the salted caramel tart was bitter and despite asking for ice cream I got cream. The manager was rude regarding my friends cocktail order the only time anyone showed any enthusiasm was when we had to leave at 10 and pay the bill promptly.
We visited on Tuesday evening. Friendly welcome and felt the Covid precautions were very good, felt safe and liked the hand sanitiser left on the table.

Had a great time celebrating my daughter 11th birthday with all our family. Really great venue and outstanding service. Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Very special evening for all of us. Thanks.
Great service, as always. Food was very flavourful. Particularly enjoyed Bill's Flowerpot dessert. Great value for money.

Asked for 1 glass of water - 4 arrived and empty ones unused not cleared - we had 2 kids with us!!
Really disappointing experience which I hope to assume was a one off. One my friends found piece of broken ceramic in her soup. She notified the wait staff, who removed the soup. The manager came over to apologise and asked whether we wanted a replacement or alternative dish (bread) which we accepted. Upon receipt of the bill, we noted that the soup and bread were deducted from the bill.
We raised that this was not much of a concession as the soup was not consumed therefore the bread was effectively provided free. The waitress returned from discussing with the manager who noted that the soup was provided for free - not seeming to understand that as this was not consumed (and inedible due to the shards of ceramic) that this should not be included within the bill. We asked to speak to the manager, who provided a further £10 discount but avoided trying to engage in conversation by simply placing the bill on the table and leaving.
We found this incredibly rude and a sign of weak management. The waitress was profusely apologetic and recognised that my friend was pregnant and asked her to contact the restaurant if she became unwell.
Deeply dissatisfied and annoyed with the level of service received.
Food took 45 minutes to arrive which is worse than usual. It was half empty and we had no starters so seemed way too long. Wrong drink was brought over.
Great service great team and lovely evening. Only sad that x2 items chosen on menu were unavailable.
Restaurant was very busy but all staff were adhering to Government Covid guidelines which made you feel confident dining there. Food was lovely however, the taziki was missing from my meal so it was a little dry.

Easy online booking. On arrival at restaurant you need to scan a QR code for track and trace. Tables nicely spaced out. Service was quick and food tasty.
Nice food, service ok, quite a lot of tables occupied in a small-ish area so noise levels quite high and not sure there was complete social distancing.

A pleasant evening with great food and drinks. Decided to try The Goldburger which did not disappoint, How quirky being served a gold coloured burger - it tasted great and the truffle fries were very moreish. Followed by the banoffee doughnuts - a great choice.

My 3 year old daughter is Dairy free so more options available would be good. Also flora margarine wasn’t available only butter, when we went for breakfast.
Overall service was good and a great place for families.

We chose Bills for the good gf menu, which they were able to follow through on. Sadly despite our booking being for 12:30 our food did not arrive until 13:40. They were very apologetic but still the wait was overly long for a haloumi burger and a fish finger sandwich.
2 adults, portion size was ridiculous small fir an adults main meal, cold se t back twice and totally bland. Neither dish was as described on the menu. Left without eating, front of house staff very good but unfortunately what came out of the kitchen was completely unacceptable.
We were a group of 4 and all of us regularly go to Bills in Epsom. I have never had any issues with Bills, However on this occasion the service was really disappointing, when we received our main courses, 3 dinners were bought out together. My main had not arrived and we were waiting for 5 minutes and couldn’t get a staff members attention , when we did they chased it and said it was coming , yet I still had to wait. Dissapointed as my friends had nearly finished theirs - which I told them to eat or it would have gone cold. None of us were impressed such a shame.
