Bill's Restaurant & Bar - Epsom

Food was very dry and tasteless. There was hair in my daughters drink.

This was my first time in Bill’s, I throughly enjoyed it. The desert was amazing, doughnuts with salted caramel sauce, sliced banana and cream.
My only criticism is the lack of choice of cocktails.
I will definitely be returning.

The food was bland and all four members of our party felt sick after eating. The service was poor for an empty restaurant.

The venue is well laid out and while bigger than it appears on the outside is quite spacious inside. Despite its size, the venue is still very intimate and well positioned. The food took my guest my surprise, it is quite a varied and little typical of what you may expect. The staff were helpful and were on hand when needed,but not pestering. The advert said there was a 50% reduction for the first part of the week, but the bill came back at the full price. I was with a guest and so decided not to challenge, but if there is an offer ,it should be made clearer. I would go again, but at full prices, seems a little pricey.

Food was fantastic, we had the steak and eggs and deserts. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to returning Xmas Eve!

Really enjoyed the festive menu. A good selection and quite difficult to choose.

Acoustics in restaurant is poor for hard of hearing and it felt cold sitting by the door - Epsom need a piece of Perspex on the grill by the door to stop the draft on the table the other side

Staff kept their backs to customers and it took ages for our mains to be served despite the restaurant not being busy. Staff weren’t very friendly but the food was lovely.
Normally I love this restaurant but won’t now rush to return.

As always a thoroughly pleasant and enjoyable visit. Food was excellent and staff very attentive. We will be back again.

It was my wife's birthday and we went to Bill's. All in all a very enjoyable evening. Good service and great food.

Disappointing that there was no glass of Prosecco for the two of us on arrival as requested. Also, no beefburgers and no buns which was only pointed out when we had ordered!
Understand these are difficult times, but reading notes on a booking should be easily managed?
Bit of a flat celebration but good to eat out at least!

Another enjoyable meal at Bill’s Epsom. We will certainly be back.

Service was great, atmosphere ok in current limited numbers, food good but choice of mains disappointing; two macaroni cheese dishes, fish finger sandwich and eggs benedict not great choices for an adult dinner out.

Good food, good service, nice 'feel' to the restaurant - what more do you want?

Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The food unfortunately when it arrived was on the warm side of hot. And my poached eggs weren’t properly cooked.
Which is a shame as the general ambience of the place is good

Good value set menu, very good COVID safe they had temperature check sanitiser on all the tables and check and trace. Welcoming staff and waitress.

When we arrived the restaurant was quiet. It filled up quickly and the staff stopped being attentive. The food was nice the salad was limp and soggy. Ordered a drink called trip and lazily just bought over in a can to pour in the glass ourselves. This was just lazy and not good customer service. Also charging £4.50 for a tiny can not good value for money.
They do not follow social distancing rules and sat someone practically on top of my daughter. This was totally inappropriate. They rammed the restaurant full and i just wanted to get out of there!!!

Also cheeky adding on a 12.5% service charge.

Very happy with our visit for my son’s 18th birthday on Sunday. Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Wrong food brought to table, long wait and given someone else’s bill.....apart from that the cocktails were good.

Not the best day to give a review really, as it was obvious the staff were preoccupied with the announcement of the new lockdown. We were told upon seating that they needed the table in 1.45 minutes but then took 20 mins to give us a wine menu. We were conscious of the time we had, and their distractions, so had to keep trying to get their attention. food was good as usual, but we felt sorry for them. Must be a nightmare in hospitality at the moment. We will go back, but you did ask for a review.

Good quality food. Some things a little overpriced but others very reasonable.

Good food, it felt safe, the staff are helpful, close to home.

Tables are too close together making it difficult to move between them and less than one metre.

A good meal - service a little slow but understandable in the current climate.
