Bill's Restaurant & Bar - Liverpool

Got there and told there was no meat, all we could have eaten was a salad or broccoli, person that greeted us was very rude, not very apologetic, he saw it more as a joke.

What a wonderful place to eat! Could not recommend more. Kind service, lovely food, great value for money, beautiful restaurant. 10/10.

Decent food and ambience. Waiter a bit moody and then there was an optional 12.5% tip which made you feel awkward about not paying because the waiter was a bit moody. I don’t like optional service charges especially when there is only 2 of you. Makes you feel uncomfortable about not paying it. Almost feels like an American way of doing the Bill.

A hidden gem in Liverpool! Service was amazing and food was also outstanding.

Waited over 45 minutes for starter of chicken skewers and humus sharer. Food then took a further 25 mins. Wasn't overally impressed by bacon on burger rock hard. Won't return again

Food was good. Too many waiters and waitresses asking if everything was ok or if had ordered. Would prefer water for the table. Waitress with blonde hair tied back wasn’t the happiest lol

Food was nice, seemed a bit overpriced for what you got. Wife said the seabass was lovely and I got the festive burger. A bit stingy on the sides. My almost 2 year old got a kids meal which she enjoyed but just about fed her which is worrying for an older child. No larger on draught. It cost us £18 for asking for a larger shandy and a white wine and lemonade. As it came as a bottle of peroni and a glass of white with two miniture bottles of lemonade. Which is worst than London prices.

AWFUL. They had sold out of the menu that we booked to eat. Once we arrived the service was shocking, the man welcoming us was rude, impatient and clearly was not interested if we ate there or not. We asked a few questions and instead of listening he interrupted us and dismissed them all. We were very dissatisfied and ended up not even eating there- disappointing.

Restaurant and decor were modern and industrial, which I liked! We received a warm welcome. The food was ok, my husband enjoyed his burger, my fish finger sandwich was dry and not enjoyable. My little girl disliked the sausage and mash as the mash had herbs in. The food was basic and not worth the £60 we paid. I probably wouldn't go back.

We visited Liverpool Bill's on Monday we were kept distanced from other diners as the rules apply but we were all in the same area which seemed a little silly although the service and food was fantastic and would definately go back again

Very good all round. Service from start to finish was a pleasure. The food is always very good and they make you feel very welcome without being overbearing. Overall just what we wanted.

Food was good but unfortunately service was awful. 20 mins from sitting down to asking if we want a drink. We just went to ordering food and drink. People near us very kindly said we had been waiting longer than them and we ordered before them. Food was good and served well, even is a little slow. At least another 20 mins after we had finished before having to ask to order desserts. We sat near to the window and it was freezing. We had to tell the waitress that someone else had been waiting longer than us to pay as they had been there much longer than us having got their bill a good 15 mins before. No one came back to us at all and only got their attention in passing. We have been to Bill’s a lot but sadly, will be looking elsewhere now. We know there is a pandemic on but that meant fewer people in and no one outside due to the weather. Sorry Bill!

Had a lovely evening,however felt one more staff member to wait on would have been beneficial.
Although staff where very friendly and polite, service was extremely slow, and low visibility, so only had the opportunity for 2 drinks, and felt it very difficult to get staff attention.

From booking my table on line to having my meal and leaving I found it all a fabulous experience the food was amazing the staff were polite and respectful the restaurant was clean and well presented I was not rushed nor did I feel rushed excellent.

Great afternoon dining social distancing facilities were good and felt relaxed. Good choice of food and drinks!

My daughter and I enjoyed the veggie sharing platter and none veggie sharing platter. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff; very safety aware. Really enjoyed the experience.

The Mac and cheese with pigs and blankets was slightly over cooked other than that we had a very nice meal. Thank you.

Waited 40 minutes for our mains to be given to us. The steak was incredibly tough to cut and chew with majority of the chips soggy from the grease from the steak. The burger came with sauce on when we asked for no sauce

Lovely food, staff, wine and beer!

Lovely food in a nice restaurant will go back. Would request a stable away from the windows in winter as quite cold.

Lovely spot not representative of the outside and area at all which was a nice surprise. Only disappointment was the 12.5% service charge, no need for that people will tip where its warranted as we did.
Will definitely return.

Great atmosphere, cool vibe in the place and catered well for 2 adults with 3 young children.

Tried Bills breakfast as I had been told by several people to try it and one word AMAZING!! Will definitely be coming back again 👏🏻

This is my daughter's favourite restaurant and for her (just turned 11) she loves the service from the staff and the atmosphere. I keep coming back because of the quality of the food.

I've yet to have a dish that wasn't acceptable and only once in five visits did my daughter have a less than exceptional meal and even then it was still good.

The price of the food for the quality is really surprising the first time you visit. If I had one minor complaint it would be that £25 gets you only an average/decent Rioja. There is a good selection of shots and liquors and their own label beer is really nice but a very small bottle.

Overall though Bill's is exceptional. We've been at lunch, afternoon and evening and the quality and price remains consistently high. It appears Bill's is famous for it's breakfast but don't be fooled into thinking the main dishes here are not of the highest quality.
