Lovely to get out with family before tier 3 introduced. Good covid safety precautions in place.

Blown away by the service. I booked with my three young children (5,3&1) & the welcome we got was so refreshing. I was trying to treat my kids but was nervous how receptive the staff would be to me with three little ones. We felt welcome & accommodated. Our waitress was exceptional & it was a really enjoyable time. They accommodated two dairy allergies really well too.

We ordered steak egg and chips as an end of term treat for my son. The steak and the eggs were really nice but unfortunately the chips were horrible. They tasted like they had been reheated, and by the end of the meal (as they cooled down) they were really unpleasant. They were definitely not freshly cooked.
Of course, I did the classic of not complaining at the time as I had no interest in making a fuss, but it was a disappointment. Hope you can improve this soon.

What we ate was very nice, service was excellent but I found the kids menu was quite limited.

Didn’t appreciate being made to wait outside in the cold for over 15 minutes because one of our party registered 1 degree over the allowed temperature- but then was fine on a second device!
The food was no better than ok to be honest and the staff seemed to go missing for when you needed service.

Difficult times, whilst we were eating the expected move to tier 4 happened. The staff were excellent and very caring, the food straight forward and distancing and hygiene carried out through the meal.

Lovely evening, would definitely visit this venue again.

It's always a complete pleasure to Eat at Bill's in Reigate. The food is delicious, the staff are attentive but not intrusive. I love the decor as well. ❤️

Great food and atmosphere, lovely waitress. But our food came before our drinks which were sat at the bar for 15 minutes or so. Countless staff walked passed and didn’t bother to look which table they were for. In the end had to ask for our drinks, if I realised they were the ones at the bar I would’ve got them myself!
Other than that, lovely evening.

Sadly, as we've had good experiences before for lunch/brunch etc, we were really disappointed with this visit. The service started out Ok, but quickly petered out, so we were left having to summon the maitre d' each time we wanted to order something. The starters were pretty average. Halloumi overcooked. The burger ok, halloumi burger was horrible and fell all over the place, the two steaks - ordered medium to rare were very rare, one in particular and pretty inedible. The panettone/bread & butter pudding was awful and practically solid. The coffee tasted very odd and I couldn't drink it and opted for a Kaluha instead!! The restaurant put 12.5% service charge onto the bill, which although is supposed to be optional, you feel too awkward to remove, even though on that occasion, it was definitely not deserved. Is 12.5% the norm now, rather than 10%? It took our bill from £184 to £207 (for 4) which was a lot. Sorry for the negative review. Generally we've always liked Bill's, but this visit was really poor.

As always we enjoyed our meal, food was incredible, we are from the festive menu. Service was excellent, perfect start to the Christmas festivities.

Shame this time we visited my wife and myself eat of the set menu children off kids and main menu. My wife had sirloin steaks tough as old boots! Asked for it to be cooked medium came out closer to rare blood on plate, told waitress and manager who said she would speak to chef and we never saw her again very disappointed.

Good food and friendly staff. Our waiter (Macy I think her name was) was helpful and attentive.

It is a nice, friendly place. The food was very tasty, but I feel that if you are spending £12.95 on a main course you should expect to have some vegetables on the side. The things that concerned us most was the social distancing. Most of the other tables were distanced from each other, but we were put back to back with another table.

Had such a friendly server! Sat in the outside area as meeting friends. There were blankets and an outdoor heater. Christmas menu was great!

Can't fault this restaurant for standard of food, quality of preparation and service. Best chain by far. Covid safety systems well in place and love the comfy dining environment. We keep going back - twice in one day - breakfast - the pancakes are irresistible - and the steaks - top class for flavour, size and cooking. Thanks to all for a splendid product.

Always good food and good service. I only knocked it down a star because they add 12.5% service to the bill. I know that is 'optional' but it's obviously assumed that most will pay, whatever the service quality. As it happens, the service is always good and the staff friendly and helpful but I would still prefer to 'opt in' and choose to pay a service charge than have to 'opt out' if I didn't think it was up to its usual high standard.

Bills was amazing as always. Great service, always with a smile 😃. You could never find fault with any of the food, its always perfect.

Family meal out is now a rare occasion. We were so looking forward to a lovely meal. The service was great and the atmosphere was also great - a real buzz to the place. Sadly the food was a big let down.

My wife had beef brisket which was dry and had very little sauce.

My son had the butter chicken burger which was also really dry.

I had the sirloin which tasted great but was at least 50% fat, such that when I trimmed the fat off there was only a small slice of steak left. Just not good value for money.

My daughter had the chicken skewers starter as her mains which were lovely no complaints there.

We paid £119 which included 3 alcoholic drinks so overall we felt if we’d stayed in and got a takeaway this would have been much better value for money.

Maybe we were unlucky with those dishes. We have had breakfast at Bills many times and always enjoyed it.

Menu was good but feed was Luke warm which was a shame. It felt like it had been sat waiting to come out so much so that there was skin on my sauce

1st visit to bill's was OK but not overly impressed but could be forgiven for the present social climate

We had a wonderful time, breakfast was exquisite, we loved it.

The Bills staff always make every effort to be helpful and friendly. As it was the first day back after lockdown I expected it to be quiet - which was pleasant. The food was good but not outstanding.

We do like Bills and are grateful to have the restaurant in Reigate.

First outing after the second lockdown and wasn't disappointed. Everything perfect as usual. One of our favourite places to go to.

Love every visit to bills. Food delicious. Staff great. And good cocktails 🍸. Will recommend and be back.

Very enjoyable meal service was okay needs a bit of work ie giving meal no cutlery and taking a long time to get attention to get the cutlery but few tweeks be great

The only issue we had was that the tables weren't socially distanced. We were sat with our chairs touching the ones behind us!

Great food, good value menu and offer on wine. Waitress was a delight.
