A small cozy, French bistro located close to home. The baked brie and wine are superb and the lambchops were fabulous.
The desserts - crème brulee and lemon tart were fabulous. This is a great addition to our neighborhood.
A gem hiding in a shopping mall. All around excellence. Had brunch and will absolutely be back to try other dishes. Warm and friendly. Highly recommended.
The food was superb. I enjoyed the champagne mohito with brunch and loved the place so much I went back 3 times this weekend and each time ordered something different and was extremely happy. The last time I ordered the beef bourguignon with a glass of red wine and it was divine. Next time I am in the neighborhood will make it a point to have the Eloise burger. Oh, you must have the fries with truffle oil... AMAZING!
The place is bright and airy but a bit loud for me. Tables are close together which can be a bit off putting but it turned out well for me as I ran into an old high school friend after 45 years.
The food was great. The French Onion soup was just ok. We mostly had yummy croquet messieurs and lovely green salads. We ordered French Fries to share and they were delicious. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.
The waiters were helpful and accommodating.
The Bloody Mary is a must. I am going to try the mussels and fries next time. You should give it a try.

The best hidden gem!! It’s just perfect!
Great dining experience. Good food and excellent customer service. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Outside of the awkward wait for my table despite having a reservation I would def recommend this place. The escargot was phenomenal and the ambience was perfectly suited to the cuisine.
Cozy restaurant but busy.
The restaurant is small.
We had a restaurant for 8pm on Sat night. We were seated by the service area where a person walk by hit the chair next to me. The place was pact and Quite noisy The main entree was good. I had cod fish with champagne sauce. but the string beans were over cooked. The hubby had the lamb chops which was good. The chocolate mousse was light. The service was great since the server bought out the food that was still hot. We did have to wait for our food since there were several big groups before us. The price is reasonable. Highly Recommend for reservation. The
The food and service at Bistro Eloise was great. The waiters were all very friendly. We had the escargot for an appetizer (my first time) and it was delicious. My Beef Bourguignon melted in my mouth and I was so pleased to have found this cute spot. My boyfriend and I made a reservation for a post vday dinner. We're glad we did. When we walked in (early) the place was fairly empty but boy did seats fill up quicky. We can't wait to return for a brunch in the future.
Definitely a gem in the neighborhood. Great food and excellent service!
Delicious traditional French home-style cooking. Staff are relaxed yet professional, wine list is excellent. Intimate and charming, it's usually filled with neighborhood couples and lots of French-speaking New Yorkers.
One of our favorite places to eat. Food is always excellent, staff is lovely and attentive.
We had a great dinner. Food was amazing and we will keep going back.
Diamond in the ruff! This place is truly amazing. The owner Vincent was working the floor and he is so personable. Amazing traditional French fare. I really do wish he would come to Ditmars in Astoria!!!
Very cost spot with lots of parking available. Affordable pricing and great tasting food. The menu is limited for both food and drinks but everything on the menu is good. Great for a date night!
My husband and I have been there several times and it is the highlight of of our gastronomic week. We love French food and this is as close as we will get to Paris, France. The food, the service, ambiance is all so wonderful! We keep coming back and highly recommend!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!! Love this place!!!
We live on Long Island, about an hours drive away and it was well worth it. Everything was great! Food was amazing. The service and staff were great, friendly and welcoming. Small restaurant but there was ample parking outside. The only complaint I might have is the tables were very close to each other, a little claustrophobic. Can’t wait to go back!
Delicious food in a cute little bistro. Steak was cooked perfectly and onion soup Agratin tasty and hot. A bit small and menu was good for a brunch lunch menu.
It was our first visit to Bistro Eloise after at least 20 local friends recommended it!!! We decided to meet with friends who were coming to visit from Riverdale. Our table in the back corner was cozy and intimate and great for chatting. The restaurant was very busy as it was Sunday brunch. The food choices are phenomenal and every dish that we watched go by looked delicious. We got our water and menus. We decided on some basic fare; salads and a crepe and an omelet. Two of us ordered coffee/cappuccino. We then proceeded to wait 45 minutes for our food to be served from the time of ordering! We asked our server twice where was our food was (the first time was after about 25 minutes), and he replied, "oh, let me check." When we returned he said it would be 5 more minutes. Hmmm? So, we continued to chat and after another 15 minutes, just our dishes were served to myself and my partner. Our friends still had no food. Another 5 minutes went by and finally, they were given their crepe and omelet dishes. There was no explanation why we waited 45 minutes for our food, but I think what happened was is that they forgot to put in our order and after 25 minutes, when we first asked, they scrambled to get it all made? One table came in well after us and was done eating their eggs, long before we even received our food.
We loved the vibe. The kind service. And, mainly the FOOD! Would love to try again and again with other friends and family, and most likely will. Just, be a little more transparent when a goof is made. Say, oh sorry, your order wasn't put in and we need 15 minutes more to make your dishes. Then, maybe bring out some bread or maybe offer coffee to the table, whatever. It builds customer relations and makes everyone feel that they are appreciated and so is their time. We will return and look forward to trying dinner options too!
Loved the place, food was tasty, will definitely be back more often.
I love this place, the service and food are exemplary. Been here for brunch and dinner several times. Last time I had friends there, one was a chef and he said the food hit every taste palette and wants to know when we are coming again.
Loved the canard, perfect cooked. A very good Cotes du Rhone so we had 2 bottles :) Waiter is fantastic. Nous reviendrons
My aunt and I were surprised to find this bistro tucked in a shopping center, but we're so glad we did! The food (the bread!) was delicious and Fabio was an excellent server. We split the muscles and frites (so good), tuna tartare, and french onion soup. And a LOT of bread. We will definitely be back!
Eloise has what every restaurant should - most personable staff, authentic simple french food and charm. Perfect escargot in a puff pastry and the rack of lamb/steak always cooked as requested. A real winner!
The food and service at Bistro Eloise are excellent. Our server was very friendly, though he was helping most of the tables, so it took some time to get the check. The escargot, boeuf bourguignon, and coq au vin were all excellent. We're going back just for the escargot! The tables are close together, as it's a small space, and we had a loud couple next to us, so that was a bit distracting. Regardless, I highly recommend this spot! So delicious.
I'm so happy that Jackson Heights now has an excellent French restaurant in Bistro Eloise. I've been there a few times but this last time was the most outstanding that I've experienced. I was so impressed with the bouillabaisse--the seafood so fresh and the sauce so flavorful! I wished that I had room for a second order! The food was excellent and the service was extra friendly and efficient. The ambiance is intimate and casual. I'm looking forward to my next time dining there.
The food here is exceptionally good. The service is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Bistro Eloise. Another plus is parking. You can’t go wrong here.
Fantastic French cuisine. Just like being in Paris.
We enjoyed a lovely Friday evening dinner at Bistro Eloise. The menu is that of a typical French Bistro and the food does not disappoint . The onion soup was flavorful with just the right amount of cheese to satisfy. We also enjoyed the baked brie appetizer. Our entrees were hearty portions of coq au vin and boeuf bourguignon, comfort food indeed! We rounded out our meal with creme brûlée and tarte citron. The service was friendly and well paced. The restaurant is small and became quite crowded as the evening progressed. Would highly recommend reservations if you plan on visiting during the weekend. All in all, we had a very pleasant experience.
I have been there at least six times and it never disappoints/ The owner greets you warmly and the waiters are professional and helpful. The food is terrific and the extra bonus is the fact that the restaurant is located in a mall where you can park steps away. I have had the creamy veal stew, tender and deliciousness as well as the cod with champagne sauce. Mussels are terrific served with truffle fries. Please run do not walk to this place
Food and service is excellent! Highly recommend to everyone, not only those who like French food.
