   We celebrated our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. Everything was amazing! Food and drinks were so good and the service was exceptional. Anne was fantastic. She was very kind and a joy to talk to. The cards were very thoughtful and sweet. You made my wife and I feel very special. It was very appreciated. Thank you to everyone at the Bistro! We will definitely be back.

    The food was pretty good, well prepared, and good flavor. Service was bad; our waiter didn't know they items on the menu and couldn't answer any questions on the food items. He also failed to write down my wife's order and brought out food for 2 of 3 people in the group. Later, we asked about the 3rd person's food, and he was surprised and said he didn't write down anything for her order. If he forgot to write it down, you would think at some point he would wonder why there were only 2 orders for 3 people. The ambiance was a little tight as our table was near a wall with a narrow walk path between the table and the wall. Had a few people right next to us standing and talking, and when people were leaving, they were almost sitting with us. Was a little awkward.

    The Wall Eye Was terrific - very tasty. The Server was there all alone - it took forever for us to get service and we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to have a glass of wine and relax. I had to ask for the server - she did her best, but it took forever. Then she offered us some bread - and I found out later, that was charged!?!? When do you start charging for bread and butter - Thank goodness I insisted that my guest take it. home and freeze it for further use. I don't eat bread, but my guest did. The service was really slow and even though I appreciate this lady and her years of service - it doesn't make this trip to The Bistro top on my list anymore. Good food - lousy service! Very very sad.

    Hands-down, some of the best food I have eaten in years! We had the Seabass and scallops four entrées. Both were absolutely unforgettable dishes. The service was first rate. Never wanted or needed to ask for anything. Would be highly recommended to anyone traveling to Saint Joe’s.

    For the most part this was a delightful evening with just a few glitches. A larger selection of NA beers and drinks would be appreciated. My whiskey sour needed less sour and more whisky. I felt like I was drinking a sour patch candy. Escargot were delicious and the variety of bread for the bread service was good My husbands Sea Bass was excellent. My lamb while well prepared was WAY too salty to the point I could not eat it it was so over salted. It was inconsistent with some pieces being inedible and others being just right. No one checked back with us so I didn’t have a chance to express my concern with the dish. We had Key Lime Pie for dessert and it was a a great key lime! The ambience was perfect and it was a nice evening in a beautiful location

    On an evening that wasn’t even 15% capacity, we waited 50 minutes for a steak entree and a walleye entree. The waiter didn’t inform us that it would be that long, nor did he ever update us on the status of our meals.

    Our server was fantastic! The appetizer was awesome, and our meal was delicious! I was chilled sitting next to the window. However, the view was pretty and the interior was pleasant. We will visit again. Thank you.

    The Bistro consistently delivers wonderful food with some of our favorite staff in the area! Even when dining here regularly, the menu provides variety so you can always find something and trust it to be great. Always try the specials if they are available - they never disappoint!

    Very good food choices and taste. Wish more people came with the idea that jeans and flannel shirt is inappropriate and just too damn comfortable. They should have gone to Chili's or Applebees then. We choose to dress "dress casual" as there are very few local restaurants where dressing up seems to be more acceptable than not. Could you have a least one good quality non-alcoholic beer?

    The Bistro is a great place for a nice romantic dinner. The food was top notch and our waitress, Anne, was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. She is an excellent server and deserves all the kudos. We try to stop in to this restaurant whenever we are in town or nearby and it is worth it. Highly recommend.

    Always excellent, never disappoints. This Resturant is something special! Every bite, delicious…every time. Things we recommend: Chili rubbed shrimp app, broccolini app, sea scallop w/ cheesy risotto app, open face steak sandwich, blackened catfish dinner. And don’t skip dessert!

    This is the 3rd time visiting the Bistro. The food never disappoints! I was with a party of 4 and we were all extremely satisfied with our entrees. Service was extremely slow, however I do not think it was the kitchen or bar that was behind. We also had breakfast there the next morning as we were staying in the hotel. The food and service was excellent for breakfast. We will be back again and again!!

    Wonderful night. Hostess had a great sense of humor. Everything smooth on check in. The meal was 5 star. The halibut was out if this world. My wife had Dover sole, perfect! A celebration was topped off with a free Anniversary desert.
