   What a wonderful night we had at Bistrot de Venise. Our server, I believe his name was Dado, was excellent… pleasant, efficient, and helpful… couldn’t ask for more! We had a beautiful round table for five and could watch the gondolas float past our window…perfect! One of my friends had the five course pre-fixed meal w wine pairings, which she said was excellent, with the exception of the duck being a little tough. The filet mignon option was fabulous. I will order it the next time!! On this visit, I had the ravioli, which was also very good. All of the desserts were out of this world and magnificently presented. Thanks for a great night!

   Very small portions, not as advertised and poor value. The pasta dish with a local canoce crayfish had just a very small piece of 1 such canoce. The fish dish served was also tiny and not very good.

   Service is so important - let me tell you how outstanding the service was at this restaurant. Emanuele was incredible. Super helpful and always smiling. The food was very nice - preferred some dishes over others but definitely worth a try. It is quite the experience. Thank you for making my fiance's birthday one to remember.

    It's a lovely restaurant and looks like an elevated dining experience but ...the kitchen actually has a bell to indicate when an order is ready ("ding-ding" like in a US diner). That defnitely took away from the elegance. The lighting was too bright so much so I asked the captain to dim: The captain happily did this. This adjustment was not just well received by me, but three other tables commented that it made the room feel so much better and thanked me for requesting the change. In sum, very attentive service, lovely visual surround, but other ambient elements need fine-tuning.

    My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a night at Bistrot de Venise and what a treat it was. The staff were fantastic and so attentive. The food and drink knowledge that they shared with us for every part of the meal was not only informative but very entertaining. WOW The food is on a level we have personally never experienced before and might not for some time. If you are going to Venice and looking for a quality treat and experience I highly recommend you pre book. Thank you.

    Amazing food, service, everything. They went over and beyond for us, even surprising my son with a special little birthday dessert because they overheard it was his birthday and we had come to Venice for that.

    Loved the food and wine and the service. The service was was excellent :) loved how warm everyone was. Didn’t feel like it was a job to them, they genuinely were keen to ensure their guests had a lovely experience.. loved the wine recommendations too. So generous and so much knowledge, enjoyed trying new wines.

    Fantastic evening in Venice. The service was at impeccable. We got the tasting menu paired with Wines. The waiter in the sommelier explain to each dish and the wines very well. Definitely a fantastic way to end our time in Venice.

    The food here is just amazing really is the best in Venice and reasonably priced for what you are getting the service was outstanding and atmosphere just what you would expect from such a high classed restaurant…everything was perfect…a must is the cooked/raw risotto it is like nothing I’ve ever tasted !

    We celebrated my husband’s birthday and the restaurant made it very special. He ordered a prix fixe meal; I ordered a la carte. We both loved each bite of food and the service was superb. Worth the splurge for a wonderful and memorable meal!

    Historically researched and reinterpreted Venetian dishes. Every dish was meticulously prepared and presented. Food was excellent and staff was attentive but not overbearing. Sommelier provides excellent wine recommendations. Only downside was presence of mosquitoes - but that’s a given in Venice everywhere.

    Food was very good, pricey but not out of the ordinary for what we experienced in Venice. Our only “complaint” is that they had a brochure of their products on all of the dining tables. A high-end restaurant should not be pushing their glass bottles and olive oil to the diner at any point during the meal.

    We booked in early Jan for a Saturday night in late Jan. The restaurant was easy to find, the staff were welcoming and could all speak English (which I was very grateful for as I have very little Italian). The menu was great - a good range of dishes, and we had lovely appetisers and aperitifs. We chose the historic Venetian tasting menu (with paired wines), and were able to substitute some dishes to work around preferences / allergies. The sommelier talked us through the dishes and the paired wines, and we stayed until the restaurant closed. Very, very happy to recommend, a lovely night with delicious food and drinks.
