If you like the smell of delicious steak, and being able to cook your steak at your table, you will love Black Rock.
I felt rushed. The food was okay. The volcano desert was bad the brownie was very hard and dry. It seemed rushed. Probably won’t go back.
The wait was ridiculous communication was horrible from the hostess. The wait staff was decent.
We only waited 5 mins until we got a table. The service was quick and great.
Jessica was a great server. Drinks and food was awesome!

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted at the door and promptly seated. Chelsea was our server and she was just phenomenal. We enjoyed absolutely every moment and look forward to making the drive down again! The food was fantastic and just wonderfully delicious. The dessert was even more amazing than it looked in the menu. Thank you so much! We look forward to visiting again!
Service was great.
We were In town for a basketball tournament. We are from Michigan where everything is locked down, it was nice to have some normalcy and eat at an actual restaurant! Our service was awesome and love that our server was quick on the return with some of our jokes & laughs!
When we arrived we were informed that having reservations (priority seating) does not guarantee that your table is reserved at that time. We had to wait an hour after traveling from Detroit. The restaurant was packed, which is not safe during this pandemic. However, our waitress Molly, was amazing.

Service was terrible we were there for 11/2 hours to eat lunch. I ordered asparagus and got 5 completely dehydrated tiny pieces
21st Birthday Dinner and our waitress was terrific! Priority seating was awesome too!
We arrived early there was openings so we were seated right then. The meal was great been to three different service was great.
Food & service were outstanding . The only issue was overhead lighting at each table it felt like you were under integration lol
Our waitress told us about a special was still going on but the manager wouldn’t honor it even though it was misleading.
Leslie was an amazing server. Recommended great food and drinks! Can’t wait to come back and have her again!!
Overall experience was great. The kids wanted to take the wife to celebrate her new job. Steaks were delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Mac and cheese, fries and baked potato were ok at best. Did not taste freshly made. Would definitely return however will choose different sides.

Great experience
The ambience overall was great… However my mother had a problem with the strong lighting shining directly onto the table from the ceiling. It hurt her eyes.
The service was extremely slow. We ordered drinks and had to wait 30 minutes before those appeared. When our food finally came out, due to Covid, condiments were not on the table, So we asked for salt, pepper, ketchup etc. and never received it. Unfortunately my brother (who recently had surgery) had to get up and go hunt down the waitress twice for items so we could proceed with our meal....and the place was not busy.
I ordered the bubbling shrimp, which is a dish I order almost every visit, and the shrimp was very dark, chewy and super overcooked. The sauce also had some type of floaters in it as if the pan may have been reused or not cleaned properly. The manager came over and apologized after I shared with her our experience and removed one of the bubbling shrimps from our bill.
I’m not so sure if I will return as frequently as I normally do until that particular store gets the rhythm on how to serve customers during this new normal with Covid. I’ll probably hang out across the street at J Alexander’s and may check back next year.
Delicious appetizers, salads and entrees. The meat dips/ butters are to die for. Great beer menu
