Awesome food, cool looking spot, fast and great service

We were from out of town and had heard we should check it out. It was amazing and Johnny our waiter was top notch. We will be back especially for the brussel sprouts appetizer ---amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall food was good. Service was good. A little pricey for what what it is.

Very disappointed in both the food and service for Saturday brunch. The steak and egg tacos were simply cold eggs with steak thrown on top, no sauce so salsa or anything. They had minimal vegetarian/vegan options and the service was slow and servers were not polite.

Quality service, comfortable space, and amazing food!

Spicy Mayo on pork bao mi was so spicy I couldn’t feel my face. Disappointed that I couldn’t order a drink off of the drink flight list by itself but instead would have had to order all 5 drinks.

Service was poor. The waitstaff had no idea what was going on. They didn’t have milk, cream, butter or bread....for a brunch only menu?!

We had a pitcher of the house margaritas, which were good, but it was 30$ for a pitcher, which actually is served in a tequila bottle, which was cool. The food was good, but I felt a bit pricey for what you get. I ordered two tacos, which were $4.50 each, and didn’t come with any rice or side. They were good, but not very filling for that price. Ended up ordering some chips and guacamole because I was still hungry. The chips were homemade and yummy. My husband had a bowl, which he said was good, but again, pricey.

My partner and I eat here frequently. We love the food!

The food and service this time was outstanding.
I do hope you will reconsider charging customers $8.50 for a small bag of tortilla chips and guacamole--and another $6.00 for salsa! Most places give you chips and salsa free of charge and only charge for guacamole. Think about it!

Delicious!! Everything was so good and we'll balanced. Wait staff is super respectful of COVID protocol as well. Can't wait to come back!

Blue Bat was amazing! I brought a friend here and we ordered two sharables—Brussel sprouts and a bag of chips with guacamole—and apple cocktails that tasted great and sated our appetites. The staff was so nice, and overall the value was incredible. We both think that Blue Bat is the best place to eat in the Third Ward, and when we come back we have to try the tequila!

Food was good but the service was lacking. Our server was not attentive and didn’t come back to check in us after we got our food. I won’t be back.

Very disappointed with our overall dining experience. The waitress was inattentive, the tacos were cold, and for $3 you can get 3 tablespoons of salsa. We will not be back.

We enjoyed our experience at Blue Bat. We haven't been out with Covid and we felt safe throughout our dining experience. Food and service was very good.

One of our favorites. The food is always good and fresh. They bring it out quickly but never feels rushed. Great vibes all around.

Perfect for Valentine’s Day! We even brought our 6 & 9 year old daughters & we were all comfortable & happy. Good tacos & excellent flavored margs!

Great service. Tables felt adequately spaced out and servers wore masks. Food and drinks were so yummy! Can’t wait to go back in the summer and enjoy outdoor dining too!

We went here during Milwaukee dining week. The food was outstanding! For appetizers we had the fried brussel sprouts and home made chips and salsa both were vert good. We all got the trio of handheld sandwiches as an entree. The were all good, but we agreed that the bao-mi was our favorite. Really nice decor and location on the river.

Went during downtown dining week and the special was perfect and delicious!!
The BRUSSEL SPROUTS. As soon as I finished them I was looking forward to the next time I can have them. Roasted with pecans, orange pieces, siracha sauce! Amazing!
Also had the handheld trio, but it was only a duo they were out of the mushroom item.
Also the chips and salsa was so fresh and unique. Can't wait to go back.

Great food and service, went for first time during winter downtown dining week

This dining experience was a disaster from the time I waited 15 minutes to be waited on for a cocktail, waiting another 30 minutes for my appetizer, and then receiving my entree cold and having to return it for reheating. Fortunately, the server took 3/4 of the cost of my food and beverage charges off my bill. I left a generous tip. This was not a busy time but what 2 or 3 staff they had were not able to accommodate the few diners present.
The nicest part is the restaurant is only two blocks from my apartment in bad weather.
Not sure I have the time to spare however for poor service.

Friendly and prompt service. Great food. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and daily/weekly specials. They had great music too!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of mke. Whether we are out for a special occasion or just a random date night Blue Bat is always my first pick! Try the spicy margaritas & the tuna poke nachos!
