Blue Bell Inn
BlueBell Inn never disappoints. We took our friend to celebrate her 50th and sat outside. It is tented, filled with lights and decorations for the holidays and simply beautiful. In fact, we had our table moved and they were very accommodating considering we already had a bottle of champagne set up at the original table. We ordered lots of apps and dinners and sides and shared and the food was spectacular.
Excellent food prepared from fresh Ingredients and presented nicely. Excellent service for everyday dining.
Great food and service. Bar area was very loud.
Parking was horrible had to use valet.
My eggs Benedict was cold when it got to the table.
The service was attentive however the food was either overcooked or cold or not exactly as ordered. Sadly a very disappointing event.
Perfect setting for celebrating birthdays over good food and drinks
Everything was wonderful. Our server was great. The food was excellent.
The grilled cheese special with the soup was excellent. I love sitting in the bar, as the bartender is great, she is always so attentive and pleasant.
Met friends for lunch. We did not feel rushed. We received every consideration and we enjoyed a long, leisurely, lovely reunion.
My first time at the Blue Bell Inn. Will definitely go back. Service was good, food was excellent, room was lovely. I really enjoyed my visit to the Blue Bell Inn.
Every staff person who had contact with us wished my husband Happy Birthday. Service was tailored to our needs: “Would you like time to relax and enjoy your Prosecco or are you hungry?” Food was beautifully prepared as ordered. Candle and ‘Happy birthday’ written in chocolate on my husband’s dessert. A nice singing rendition of the birthday song by our wonderful server, Katherine, (and me)! Room was lively without being too loud. Manager checked in on us. Service was solicitous without being intrusive. A perfect evening!
Blue Bell Inn is my wife and my favorite go-to restaurant! The food is always outstanding, and the service is perfect. Love, love, love!!
Fantastic food, excellent wine list, and our server was extremely professional and attentive without being the least bit overbearing. We did have to wait a little bit past when our reservation was for a table, but not long and it was completely understandable considering it was busy saturday night. Overall our experience was great! Thank you Blue Bell Inn
The ambience was great. The service was professional. The prime rib was dry. The salmon was 8/10. We were really disappointed in the prime rib.
Normally it’s very nice, the food is good & the room is nice, but, last night they put us in a room with no heat. We ate dinner with our coats on and so did everyone else. And the end they asked if we wanted to change seats, it was a bit too late at that point. But, they did comp our desserts.
We frequent this restaurant for dinner often (SUPER!) but this time, we visited for lunch. We were happy to find their lunch to be high quality food made with very fresh ingredients just like during dinner, and with phenomenal service at a very reasonable price.
Recommended to any foodies for any occasions.
Blue Bell Inn is always hit or miss.
The food and wine is generally pretty good, but nowhere near great or inventive. That's not necessarily a knock, but it is one of the few places nearby where I can get a salad with a piece of fish on it and a decent glass of wine. That's setting the bar fairly low.
The ambience is why we go. It's generally a fairly refined experience in a good setting, with proper valet service and a lovely terrace in summer. The bar area can feel a bit like "divorcee' centrale", at times.
The bill is a bit steep. We spend about $200 for a family of four, but we don't really hold back, either. A family could certainly do it for about $125-$150.
The pot pies were very good with plenty of chicken. The crab cake was also very good, but only one small crab cake was served. The kale salad with salmon was excellent, as was the service.
My mushroom frittata was disappointingly sparse of mushrooms asked for steak knives to cut through english muffin. Others were offered bottomless coffees, I was offered hot water with my used tea bag. Beignets were excellent, though
Everything was very good, including the car valets!
We thoroughly enjoyed our seat by the window. Although I’d asked for a quiet seat when making my reservation, we were initially given a table right next to the oath of traffic coming into the room at the dining areas entrance. Fortunately , people at the window table left just prior to our arrival, so we asked for, & given, that one.
Food was very good. Service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was very busy of course, because it was so busy, the noise level was elevated. Again, we were happy with our window table & the bride of the waterfall & garden.
All in all, it was a very good brunch, & we definitely recommend the Blue Bell Inn!
Have eaten here many times. There are many good menu choices. Skip the duck. It was more like gnocchi with pieces of duck rather than duck with gnocchi. The top line in the menu should have read Gnocchi, not duck. Other menu items are good. Steak and rack of lamb always good here.
Overall a very nice experience. We sat upstairs, it was still pretty loud. It would have been impossible to talk downstairs, very, very loud. Uncomfortably loud. Wait Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
This is one of my wife and my favorite spots for our date nights. Food never disappoints. Service is top notch. Ask for the dining room if you prefer a quieter dinner. If you sit by the bar when there's a band, it can get loud.
No longer a 5 star dining experience.
The service and staff were outstanding - as expected. However, the food quality was extremely disappointing. Crab chunks on deviled eggs and small filet steaks were dry and tasted as though they’d been sitting around for too long. Caesar salad was anemic tasting - no zest whatsoever.
I will never go to BBI again.
Service was horrible
Made reservations an hour prior to our arrival and we were seated promptly. Our server was OUTSTANDING and the food as always, was superb!
Wonderful food, excellent service but very noisy. Recommend going after 8 on Saturday evening.
A favorite for food dining experience, ambience and service
This was just my second time there.
I love the atmosphere and that you can dine in the dining room or in the casual area.
Went to Blue Bell Inn for brunch and it was outstanding. Lots of choices on the menu, was hard to pick. We had the beignets to share, which were wonderful and I had the mushroom frittata. My friend had the French toast which he said was the best he’s had. Coupled with a bottomless bloody Mary that was delicious, it was the perfect brunch. I will definitely be back.
We have always had very positive experiences here, but this last time was not good at all. Our entire meal felt rushed, like we were in a factory. We had an appetizer that appeared in about 3 minutes after ordering and our entrees were immediately behind that. Both mine and my husbands were lukewarm, at best. It felt like they have the food sitting there, already prepared, and they quickly heat it up. From the time we sat down until the time we paid was barely 40 minutes. Just really felt like a food factory, not made to order entrees that are $35. Seems they have just gotten too big and too busy.
Great meal, great service
Another phenomenal dinner/experience at the Blue Bell Inn. The service, food selections & food quality were all simply “over the top” !!!
Went for Sunday Brunch and sat upstairs. The food was great and so was the service!
Got end cut prime rib - $36. Dry as a bone!!! Not enjoyable.
Great for a date night away from kids! Great service, delicious food, great atmosphere! It was very relaxing and we did not feel rushed. Nice fire pit outside to hang out around and enjoy drinks after dinner was finished.
Everything was great from wine to dessert. Best lobster I've ever had!!
Our maître d’ (Dino) and waitress (Nicole) were great l!!
Typically good overall
