Steamed crab, drawn butter, lemon, served with organic green salad, or roasted fingerling potatoes and local market vegetables
Fresh island clams, house smoked candied salmon, wild prawns, spaghetti, white wine cream sauce, asiago, and arugula
Wild caught sockeye salmon with togarashi spice, ponzu aioli, and seaweed slaw, served with fries or greens
Super service from Michelle and outstanding food made for a very enjoyable evening!

Waited 5 min to be greeted & seated. My chair had to be swapped out was broken.
Our waiter was really busy didn’t really have much interest or spend much time at our table. Threw the 3 bills on the table at the end of the meal and said you figure it out 🤷♀️ food was amazing restaurant is gorgeous.. just didn’t seem very organized.. no flow or communication between the staff.
Good food. So so service, waiter made an error on my drink order, rather than admit that he served me a beverage with alcohol in it (was designated driver) he tried to pass it off as a ‘local specialty tonic’ and that it didn’t have any alcohol. Bull shiz, I took a sip and it had tequila in it. Great place, nice view of the inner harbour.
Our server Carly was amazing and the bartender, Shawn was such a pleasure to chat with. We haven’t been out since February. It was the perfect night out and their company was great! You are lucky to have those two staff members!
The food and service were fantastic. With Covid they can't serve as many people so the atmosphere was a bit stark but that is to be expected. We were well cared for. Highly recommend.
New Year’s dinner was delicious. This is by far one of the best seafood restaurants in Victoria!
The crab cakes were a bit over done, the calamari was a bit to salty and over cooked so some were abit rubbery not tender. :(
The bouillabaisse had several potatoes and very little anything else. I don't ever remember having potatoes in a seafood bouillabaisse it was more like a chowder :(

Excellent food again. The menu is reduced in scope but the quality of food remains very high. The location looking out to the harbour is lovely. Service was as usual excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for seafood.
The menu is smaller than in past years, most likely due to the pandemic, but the service is still outstanding. Our waiter went above and beyond. Food quality was good but the price did not match the amount of food. As a side note, cocktail selection could be improved.

We are currently running a limited menu with limited staffing, but the team is working very hard to provide a safe and enjoyable experience. Great views. Food pretty good, service good. Too many staff it seemed for so few customers, poor people falling over themselves to cater to us, like they needed something to do. Good place, classy, superb views, we would go there again.
This is our favourite restaurant in Victoria! I dream about their food, and can't wait to get back (from Salt Spring Island) whenever possible. We also love the location/views, and fabulous service.
Since new management has taken over, Blue Crab has gone really downhill. This so-called seafood restaurant no longer has any seafood platters, and the only true seafood dishes on the menu are crab legs and a muscle starter. For a seafood restaurant, I would expect oysters, seafood platters, lobster, etc. Although this used to be amongst the better seafood restaurants in victoria (in the past), it's simply not the same. When we asked our server (who was amazing) why the restaurant no longer had any platters he explained the new management was cutting prices. Unfortunately, my visit was on Christmas eve which holds high expectations. I was expecting decorations and a special Christmas menu as they had last year, but I was extremely let down. The restaurant was not festive at all and the menu was extremely small with about 5 mains, all of which were pretty basic. Dessert only had two options and the chocolate lava cake we received was more like an undercooked packaged mug cake on a plate, dominos has better lava cakes. Sad to say I will not be back, this used to be one of my favorite restaurants.

Good water view from the tables. Decent and prompt service. The older male server is very pleasant and helpful. The younger ones efficient, but not overly professional or friendly.
The drinks very good. Cocktail was well made and not too sweet...”Rosie by the Seaside”. Props to the bartender.
The wine options good as well. Prices on the higher side, but still reasonable.
The Beef Rib was clearly slow cooked and didn’t require a knife to eat. Excellent. Veggies were good. The Steelhead with black Thai rice was tasty, but the fish could have been a little crisper and the rice a little softer, in other words both undercooked a tad. Finally the chicken carbonara was good, but far too rich with too large a portion. Needs more noodles and less meat and greasy sauce in my opinion. Not everyone wants to be 300 lbs lol.
We dined on back to back nights. The first was louder while the second a Saturday was more peaceful though just as busy though not crowded of course. Reservations easy to come by. Covid protocols followed. Highly recommended.
Note I live in Victoria not Vancouver. You’d think a city with a metro area with about 370,000 population would register.
Wonderful place! We really enjoyed the food, very delicious seafood options! Lovely staff so helpful and kind. The view was simply gorgeous!
The venue is lovely, but the food was very disappointing. This is a “seafood” specialty restaurant, but we have had much better fish and chips in many different restaurants.
Excellent king crab dinner. The wine choice is quite limited. Our waiter was excellent!
The food was amazing, great wine with lots of BC options. Service was fantastic and seemed to have good Covid protocols in place.

Excellent meal and service. The steak and prawns had amazing flavour and halibut meal was good size. Restaurant very full (but 6 feet spacing) and loud. Nice atmosphere.

We have eaten there several times and the food is outstanding, we always enjoy the crab specials and the crab is very fresh and well prepared. The location is beautiful with a view of Victoria harbour.
My wife and I had the combo dinner of 6 oz tenderloin, 3 scallops, 3 prawns and the Dungeness Crab for $150 for both. All aspects of this meal were exceptional!!!
Favourite destination again! Just an outstanding culinary experience enjoyed! Craig made this evening top knotch with his attentive manner and expertise, advice and also instruction with the snips for our King Crab legs. Our filet was done to perfection, juicy and tender and paired so nicely with the tasty flavours of the rest of the seafoods all artfully presented. Truly a fabulous and again memorable evening.
For a good meal and friendly service while enjoying the view over-looking the harbour and marina, the Blue Crab has been our favourite choice for years.
Excellence all around, from convenient underground parking, to attentive service, to the hot & delicious dinner. The big picture windows that overlook the charming inner harbour just add that special something to the whole overall ambiance. I look forward to another occasion to enjoy a fine meal here. A great experience when you want to splurge.

This is currently our most favourite place to eat steak and/or crabs in Victoria. The service and the view can't be beat. Portions are large and filling and you really get your money's worth when you dine here. It is expensive, but you are getting what you pay for and you leave happy and satisfied by the entire experience. We love it.

We split the crab dinner. It was good as well. however splitting it
left us wanting more crab. So that was our fault. I am a small eater
and often leave food on my plate.
Not sure that we would go back, something was lacking overall and
I just can't figure it out. Didn't feel that romantic which we were hoping for.
Could be with covid that the tables aren't dressed elegantly.
We celebrated our anniversary by having dinner here. Our table was right at the window looking at the beautiful view. Our server was very friendly and polite, and he never tried to rush us. We had the crab cakes to start and they were really really good, not just all filler. For our entree we shared the Surf and Turf platter for two. It was INCREDIBLE. I feel it was the best meal I have had in a restaurant in recent memory. We finished it off with Lava cake....to die for!! We had the best experience! Also, the COVID protocols are on point. We can't wait to go back!
