Your food is quite good but service was absolutely abysmal. After we were seated it took 15 minutes until we our waiter approached. Food was served pretty fast and we all loved our dishes. But during our time eating our waiter didn't check on us once, or asked if we wanted coffee refills. Probably wouldn't come back because the insultingly bad service canceled out the really good food. Service was weak. Very weak. Food was very good. But SO MANY FLIES so sit inside. And you don’t have to overlook the homeless encampment across the street.

We sat outside and it’s like a party for flies. They landed on our food and drinks nonstop. Also waited 20 min to get the bill- for some reason our waiter was very unwilling to check us out. Very unpleasant experience. Btw the cream chicken crepe is really good.

Came back after a good experience about four weeks prior, but this go round was not good. 1) appetizer brought with main dish. Someone other than original server delivered the food, but pretended not to speak English when we brought up this issue of appetizer versus main. (Seemed to speak perfectly good English with another table, and later when asking for a box for the appetizer that was never eaten, dud to it arriving with the meal.) 2) Server didn't check, after food was served, to see if we received everything alright or to ask if we needed anything else to get started on our meal, (we did--had to get up and go find her.) 3) Eggs Benedict--quite good on the previous visit--was terrible. 4) Server was not attentive. Sorry to say, we will look for somewhere else to brunch.

Sever was inattentive. The host would have to go find her to let her know when we wanted things. There didn’t seem to be any kind of communication or direction between the staff.

Such a wonderful brunch with my husband - the Fig, Goat Cheese + Honey Toast was delicious start. The breakfast burrito was amazing as well and my husband enjoyed the breakfast sandwich.

Blue Daisy is a good choice for breakfast or lunch. I had the Greek salad with chicken and it was very good. My husband loved the Turkey sandwich. It was enough for two meals. The service was average. The noise level inside made it difficult to carry on a conversation. I would return.

Sat at my table for 45 minutes before I was even asked what I wanted to drink. We were sat on the patio but we have a special needs in a stroller and the patio is very narrow. They were not accommodating at all. In fact, they put us in the worst slot which was the busiest spot at the door with the staff coming and going around us. Food wasn’t worth the service.

The service was the worst I’d ever experienced. It took a full hour from the moment we were seated to the time we finally got our food. Didnt matter who was seated first, the waiter served patrons in no order. Waited forever for water on a hot day. The wait was NOT worth the food; it tasted like something you could make at home. Will never be returning and encourage others to dine elsewhere.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday with my boyfriend. We got seated outside in the courtyard which was cute and quiet. Unfortunately that’s all the good things I have to say. The service was very much lacking here. Everything was really slow. It took a while for a server to come and take our order. We ordered drinks and my boyfriend ordered the 3 eggs with bacon plate and I ordered the breakfast combo with eggs, bacon, & French toast. The drinks took a little bit to come out, but nothing too crazy. The food on the other hand took forever to come out. My breakfast combo came out first but I was not given any syrup for the French toast. I asked for syrup and by the time I received it, my eggs were cold. My boyfriend didn’t receive his food until maybe 10 minutes later. I tried to wait to eat until my bf received his food but mine was already cold and I didn’t want it to get colder so by the time I was more than halfway done eating, he finally received his. We couldn’t really enjoy our meal together. The quality of the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t worth the wait and the poor service. My French toast was lacking in flavor. I could have made better at home. After requesting the bill, we also had to wait again for it to come. We were also charged for an extra plate of bacon which we did in fact receive, but we didn’t ask for. We didn’t realize when it arrived that it wasn’t part of our order so we did actually eat it. So we paid for it. Overall not a good experience and will not be returning.

Great brunch! Waiters were attentive. We sat on the patio and it was perfect ambiance. Tables were spacious. We ordered Turkish coffee, Mediterranean eggs, egg/potato plate, and pancakes. Everything was AMAZING. Turkish coffee came with perfectly roasted /spiced nuts. The eggs were all made well and flavors of the Mediterranean dish were perfect. Pancakes came with strawberries and bananas so fresh you’d think they were fake. Amazing meal to start your morning.

Fabulous! Food was amazing - sooo delicious - we had breakfast and everything was perfect from the eggs to the scrumptious blueberry pancakes. And the cappuccino was beyond excellent- I am dying to go back even just for the coffees! The restaurant adjoins the charming Palihotel - eclectic and stylish decor, comfy seating - great ambiance and excellent service. We will be back as soon as possible!

Great portions. The food is always delicious! Servers are nice. Need more of them. It took 25 minutes to be seated...with a reservation! This is my second visit and the wait time for food was about the same. If they improve wait time...it would be a 5 star review.

Blue Daisy Melrose is located inside the Palihotel. The restaurant owner is separate from the hotel owner. I love the homie feel to this restaurant. It has an eclectic aesthetic and a custom-made, community-focused approach with communal seating. This restaurant serves fresh homemade, organic health conscious and delicious food. They create very uniquely satisfying dishes that are made with their housemade sauces, seasonings & dressings. We ordered meat sauce shakshuka, breakfast burrito, breakfast combo with French toast, soft scrambled eggs and sausage and for dessert some amazing baklava. Everything was delicious! They also serve amazing cocktails. I enjoyed this place so much!

The food was extremely bland to the point we sent it back. The eggs had no seasoning. Not even salt or pepper. The food was cold and undercooked. Very disappointing. Also, we had a reservation and when we arrived, we stood there for about 3 minutes waiting while people watched us. No one came to greet us and when we sat, it felt like everyone was so overwhelmed. I think they need to hire more people. Overall, I would not recommend. The food is way too expensive for the quality and taste.
