   What a treat! We enjoyed delicious cocktails, appetizers, and dessert. The oysters were perfectly fried and the dipping sauce was a wonderful complement. My husband enjoyed the crab cake, full of tender meat and not filler. Presentation was appealing too! The crème brûlée and key lime pie are made in house and worthy of every calorie. Our first visit, but not our last. Highly recommend!

   Food was excellent. Our server was very good. She didn’t call us “guys” and was not intrusive yet noticing things like water refills etc. Two in our party have hearing deficits and we requested quieter spot and we were seated in a great area. Coming in earlier also aided in the noise level. Very nice experience.

   My husband and daughter surprised me for my birthday yesterday and I felt so special and loved! The ambiance was so romantic and my heart was filled with so much joy. The food was absolutely delicious!

   This place is a hidden gem! We celebrated our Anniversary and everything was perfect! The food was amazing and the service was too. We will certainly be back and we will highly recommend this restaurant to our friends!

   As usual, we had another outstanding evening and dinner. The food was excellent and we highly recommend the Calamari. The Bisque was creamy and delicious. The only comment was we were seated between two parties of 6 so my conversation with my wife was a little limited. Partly my fault, as one can specify seating on the reservation request. Needless to say, we will be returning.

   Service was alright, our server was nice and did a great job! Table was to small, very tight for 4 people. We really did care for some of the food. Not a lot of seasoning on the food. We tried a new restaurant, not one of our favorites. But it was a great night out with friends!

   Thoroughly enjoyed the steak frites. My wife had tuna with crab fried rice. No imitation crab. Wanted the bread pudding as a dessert but the furniture market and other popular events that attract people to High Point resulted in management discontinuing items that take awhile to bake like bread pudding. Saw other entrees on the menu I would like to try so definitely going back for those and the bread pudding.

    We had been told for a while to try Blue Water and we were not disappointed! The halibut special was amazing and my husband's mahi was excellently prepared. BWG is a great place for a special night out!

    Service was excellent, not rushed at all, like other certain upscale places where you're still enjoying your appetizer and the main course shows up. Freya, our server, was very professional and personable. My scallop entree was very flavorful but probably too many pappardelle noodles for the amount of broth included. But would definitely recommend it. My wife had the trout and the portion was two large fillets. Freya cautioned us that a lot of risotto was included and it did.

    This restaurant is on the top of our list in the area. It is always, always delicious! The service is spot on as well. Just a pleasure to dine here. You can choose the bar with tables to dine. Or enjoy the lovely dining room. Service in both areas is perfect! It canoe hard to find good seafood dishes in our area but Blue Water has an excellent chef with very enjoyable and creative dishes. Anything from Shrimp Cocktail to our favorite, Tuna with Crab fried Rice. So so Good!! They have plenty of beef and pork sections as well.

    This is an excellent restaurant with great food and superb service. The fish is prepared with creativity and is well presented along with tasting awesome. Service was beyond the call of duty. Very happy with overall experience. Two small issues: ambiance is nice but noise level too high. And second, meals can get pricey when ordering 3-4 courses. Otherwise, simply superb.

    Freyda is excellent and her recommendation for the outstanding calamari was on point. Disappointed with the trout, flavorless even salted. Risotto was okay. Steak frites were okay. Come for the apps maybe?

    Chicken dish was bland, not a lot of taste. It was not filling even after having a salad. Crab Bisque was very good. NCTrout with mushroom risotto had tougher pieces in it. It was filling, somewhat heavy. It was good, not the best. Coffee was very good. Coffee did have grounds in the bottom of my cup but, fortunately I did not notice them until the end. The waitress said she took it off our bill without me asking which was nice of her. Excellent waitress. Loved the interior of the restaurant. We may go back and try something else on the menu.

    In our opinion there are only 6 fine restaurants in Greensboro that provide the level of food and dining experience that we feel justify spending at the - special occasion level . This was our first experience at the Blue Water Grill and we were pleasantly surprised to find number 7 - it’s nice to have another from which to chose . The food was creatively designed - the duck compote was perfectly done with a delicately seasoned side of grits . The octopus was moist on the inside slightly crispy on the outside and very tender - which is hard to accomplish, displayed on a nicely seasoned bed of greens . All of the dishes were delicious and skillfully presented ,most with subtly enhancing sauces . Our server was delightful- Freya made the evening personal and it was evident that she was pleased when she was able to share our enjoyment in the experience . She was truly our partner for the evening . Go - order anything with confidence- and ask for Freya .

    We really loved this place. Valentines dinner and we weren’t disappointed. The appetizers ( Crab bisque & Calamari) were amazing as were our entrees (Halibut & Scallops). Drinks and desserts were very good as well. We will definitely be back.

    My wife and I ate at Blue Water last night. THe restaurant is tucked away in an "alley" and is a nice place. Inside, its pretty nice. The waitress was fantastic. I had a house salad that could have used more dressing. For our entree, I had the halibut and my wife had the scallops. The halibut was delicious but very heavy in a cream sauce. My wife said the scallops were a bit overcooked and salty. The wine was excellent. All in all....a very good place to eat.
