The food was great BBQ food - as you would expect, generous portions, I shared a platter and enjoyed it. The Service was however - not so good. We waited nearly an hour for the food, it wasnt as if the place was busy. they did give us free drinks to make up for it but I was hank Marvin and the wait wasnt good.

Enjoyed a nice lunch with my daughter for her 16th birthday. The pre-booking service was efficient, service and food was good. If you like a good burger, this is the place to visit. The waitress was attentive and the Southern vibe with the bluegrass and country music for n the background made for an enjoyable experience.

Only criticism is it was quite cold in the restaurant. Could do with a bit of heating in the winter months. Other than that a lovely evening.

It was amazing atmosphere! I loved the food. Such big portion sizes and beautifully cooked. Would go again.

Nice food, good service, a little expensive, drinks too much, great location.

The food was good, however, everything tasted like it was pre cooked before. Didn’t hve that freshness about it when it’s just cooked. Most of the desserts were sold out, the one slice we did order was not good. The waitress told us they are waiting for stock to arrive. Still love the coleslaw, onion rings, brisket. Chicken wings wasn’t good.

Went for our anniversary... lovely food and great service.

The waiters were friendly but the food was not of a good standard. The mac and cheese was tasteless and the chilli cheese fries were the same. I ordered the ribs which were tough and fatty and quite inedible, I told the waitress this was why I hadn't eaten them when she collected our plates and she apologised. However, she still charged us for the whole meal and even asked us if we wanted to pay the service charge (which had already been added to the bill). We will not be visiting again.

Loved the food. Great location, right next to the castle. Waitress was really nice and provided ample complimentary condiments. Great experience overall. Prices were as you'd expect for decent food in that part of town. Definitely not a 'tourist trap' where you're paying overblown prices for rubbish food; if you want McDonald's prices, get McDonald's food. I think the prices were reasonable for slow-smoked home-style BBQ food, which was really delicious, might I add.

Food was really nice, but it did take a while to come, around 45 mins maybe longer. But the waitress was really nice and apologised for the wait, and took the drinks off our bill. The food was worth the wait and would come back again!

We waited for over an hour for our food the macaroni had far too much pepper in and when I asked for them to change it they wasn’t able too as the pepper is already in the sauce so I only had sweet corn which was very disappointing as we waited such a long time and one of the burgers had too much sauce in

I arrived early and table was ready which was good it was explained by the waitress what was missing from the menu which was good Thetford quality and service was great the only problem i had is the onion rings was missing and waited a long time this has happened before. I know the waitress herad the correct order because she checked before leaving the table so it means again its the chefs not looking what the customer has ordered which is not good enough.

Pre booked our table and arrived and were seated on time. Our waitress was polite and nothing was too much of an ask. I was struggling to decide what I wanted so the waitress came back a few minutes later. It was the one waitress serving but she smiled and was very chatty throughout our meal. Food was good and portions good size.

Lovely family dinner. Value for money with food. Absolutely loved the pit sharing platter, very tasty. Waitresses were very attentive and sought to our every need including ordering a side which was not on the menu. Would definitely recommend.

Food order was wrong, sides only just warm, but when food arrived and was right it was amazing!

Good service terrible food, there was no taste of smoke or even bbq in any of the food. The meat gets smoked off site and reheated in the restaurant, even the kids meals looked like they have been microwaved, save your money and avoid.

Great BBQ restaurant with excellent food, some stairs to get up to if they cannot seat you downstairs (no lift)

As good as I remembered before lockdown.
Reduced menu and number of beers which is to be expected and didn't spoil the visit.

Not that nice, especially for the price. Harvester food is better and cheaper.
