The food and wine are always good here and the ambience of the restaurant is lively and stylish.

Had a wonderful time here on New Year’s Eve! Food and ambiance were fantastic. Thanks to all the staff for working NYE so that we could have a nice night out!

Love the bar or restaurant option. Always great service and vibe. Sophisticated drinks menu. Succinct food menu ... would have liked a little more vegetarian choice at last visit.

Wonderful attention from the staff about our needs.Tapas and share plates worked a treat for our group of 8 - easy to order and something special for everyone. Great wine to accompany. A special experience.

Great surrounds, innovative food and interesting wines ...

I really wanted to love this place, as I have been craving having a breakfast burrito since moving back home after living in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, it was quite dry and probably the worst breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Not great at $18 a pop.

We visited Bodega for a pre-dinner drink. The service is friendly with every effort to make you comfortable and the visit enjoyable. We were offered tastings of wine in order to assist our selection. Highly recommended!

We have been to Bodega 1904 several times and always enjoyed the food and the ambience of the establishment. Would happily go there again for dinner.

Would of been nice to be told the price of bottles of wine bought in wine shop and not just get the bill at the end of lunch with seeing for first time. Being told “charge for licensing of drinking in restaurant “ doesn’t give a clue as to the mark up.

Had a great time at Bodega. Food was absolutely amazing and the wine was perfect. Sat up the bar which we love and was just a really comfortable place for a night out. Will definitely be back

Perfect booth dining tapas lunch with lovely wine. Quiet enough to have a conversation but still had an energetic buzz.

My favourite wine bar in the Inner West of Sydney. Great selection of wines, tasty bar snacks and always friendly, attentive service. Good to visit on a Friday or Saturday night or Sunday afternoon when the Tramsheds are busy. Nice vibe. Recommend sitting up at the bar to soak up the ambience.

The menu has changed since I last ate here and the new one is as interesting and tasty as the old one.

An excellent meal with attentive service. Importantly the spacing of the tables met the social distancing requirements and it was good to see the wait and kitchen staff all wearing masks.

The food here was not good. The lamb was dry and the risotto stodgy and salty. Not recommended.

The food was really good but also very simple.
They are not very transparent with their wine list.
Told us we can chose any bottle from the wine store but then it is twice the price when you are having it in the restaurant.
I am a big fan of Porteno and this is the reason why I wanted to try but it is very disappointing.
Service is amicable but cold.

Food Quality was second to none. Menu was a bit limited and lacked proper variety, possibly due to current social restrictions. With that said though, the place was as busy as it gets.

Staff were lovey (as always) and service was excellent.
Meals were delicious and well portioned. My partner and I shared the cheese platter as a entree, and had the risotto and salmon as a main.

The staff were the best thing about the night. The food was disappointing; quantity and quality. The prices didn’t reflect what was presented. In all a very disappointing experience because we are such huge fans of Porteno and Bodega Tapas Bar.
