Thursdays are paella days in Barcelona, & this place gets quite busy. Service was okay, but large groups got far more attention than small ones. No offers for more drinks or a dessert menu. An adequate experience, but with all the places available in the city this place quickly sinks to the bottom of the must-see list.

We had to wait despite making a reservation. Paella was ok.

The restaurant was lovely. Other customers were rude to the staff but they handled them with grace.

We were treated like tourists. Our reservation ignored and our outdoor table was forfeited, my guess they didn’t want tourists sitting out front. Food was good and atmosphere fun none the less.

Very busy local Bodega. Quick and friendly service. Good tapas selection. For one, 3 to 4 tapas dishes is perfect and lets you sample a range of their delicious food.

Food and service was great. We came for the paella and Utah did not disappoint. Chorizo was also great.

Great food, traditional location. Good service and pretty good value as it’s way from some of the main touristy places.

Basic bar-restaurant. Reasonably priced but nothing special.

Make sure you tell them about your open table reservation. We lost about 40 minutes waiting which implies that reservation was useless. The wait was worth it food and service excellent. very local place they speak English if that an issue for you

We had a great dinner at bodega Joan. The mixed paella was amazing! The servers were very friendly. Highly recommended.

We had an enjoyable evening there and tried a lot of Tapas which were good. Only the fishplate was way below expectation as the fish was cooked was too long and too hot. These animals died a second time in the kitchen. Overall a good address to spend a nice evening with friends though.

Very underwhelming experience. The food was the least interesting out of all places I've dined in Barcelona. I understand that this is not a fine dining establishment, but compared to other similar places this one was clearly lacking.

We liked the food a lot. Lovely atmosphere and very local.

We had to wait a bit to have our table even if we booked in advance but that didn't matter at the end as food and service were outstanding.

We had a great friendly waiter. There was a huge selection of tapas that were among the best of our trip. We started to order too many and our waiter said we had too much. We should eat then order more if we were hungry. He was right - portions were quite large. Wine and beer were good. The place got crowded but all patrons were having a good time. There were Tvs for sports. I’d definitely go back

Food was very good and this is very much a local place to eat. I would say it more of a sports bar casual place.
The service could have been better. The waiter paid minimal attention to us probably because we did not speak the language.

Found this restaurant as it was within walking distance from our hotel while on vacation in Barcelona. Wait staff was excellent and friendly. Suggested the seafood salad appetizer that wasn’t listed on the English version of their menu that was excellent. Their sangria was very good. Wished they had a broader beer selection. We highly recommend the Brazilian style thin steak that you cook yourself at your table. Also wish they had a few more tables outside but sitting inside is fine. Not a lot of space, but they could accommodate a group of 10 or so. We’re glad we found this place during our stay and if we’re ever in Barcelona again we would definitely go back.

Enjoyed an evening meal with my wife. Service was pleasant and efficient. Food was served in timely fashion and was delicious. I recommend the jamòn Iberico, the seafood paella and garlic shrimp. Sat in the back room, surrounded by FCB paraphernalia. Was a good night!
