Too many fried food in their family style plates. Only one dessert option.

Good time just felt rushed a bit. I would go back though.

It was great! However, they required to wear masks everytime the waiter comes around which is difficult. Also the prices were really expensive and probably not worth the amount of food served.

Overall experience was great for a birthday dinner. During COVID-19 & being asked to not speak with my guest at each table and being told to sit at one spot was irritating.

The food wasn't great but it wasn't bad tasting either. The service was very disappointing. Our waiter didn't seem to like us from the start. THe guy who brought the food out was the only nice interaction we had. The drinks we're too sweet, when asked to make it stronger they charged us double. The manager kept telling us we only have x mins until the reservation was up. Overall bad experience especially the next morning when we both got very sick. I will never go there again.

This was one of my favorite places for cocktails and small plates. Recent visit has changed that, menu changed..food was horrible.

Waiter was horrible. Had an attitude since we got there. Asked us why we asked for more drinks when he said he had just did the last round. They said it was a rooftop and didn’t even say that it would be closed already. Made the reservations for 9:15pm and they said it would be good for 2hrs. Literally were rushing us and kicking us out

Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made solid recommendations! With the shareable options, my friend and I were able to try almost everything on the menu. Pretty much everything was flavorful and satisfactory, except the empanadas which seemed liked they were store bought or previously frozen.

Some of their food is good. Their drinks are fantastic but unless this was a Michelin star restaurant then I’d accept the price for the amount of food. I will not say the food was bad but like I said some of their food was good... definitely worth a place to visit but during this “new normal” were in I wouldn’t take a trip out just for this spot. However I can see it becoming great post covid!

The food was outstanding. The services was great. The place was really nice! They have couches and nice candles everywhere. The only downside of it its not an rooftop bar. It's just a really nice place for dinner dates or bachelor's parties. Boleo really need to change that because people are going to actually think it's an rooftop event and it's really not.

It’s not a rooftop. People should stop saying it’s a rooftop.

Food is good. Drinks are good. If you’re going for some kind of view, you’ll be disappointed.

Had a wonderful after work get together. It was nice to be able to visit and hear each other since it has been quite a while since we were able to meet and go out. Food and atmosphere were fantastic.

Great atmosphere with the retractable roof, fun and yet offering privacy. The appetizers are creative and very flavorful. Great service and the drinks options are plentiful. Will definitely be back soon.

We had a great experience. We ordered the family sharing and we able to try everything on the menu.

As a couple with serious anxiety about the current pandemic, Boleo’s safety protocols allowed us to eat in comfort. The table were adequately spaced apart, the QR code menus and disenfecting of the table before we were sat. Great atmosphere & food is amazing!

I always love visiting Boleo and this experience was no different, even while being in a pandemic. Our food, server, and cocktails were all exceptional. My friends and I felt safe with spaced out tables and masks required while not at tables. Our only complaint was that the hostess did not give us our 30 minute warning to let us know our two hour time limit was nearing, and she was impatient with us letting us know we exceeded the two hours. We understand the restrictions; however, there were still plenty of tables available even with less tables available than normal.

Boleo has a lot of character, as well as good food and drinks. It's one of the most aesthetically pleasing rooftop bars I've visited in Chicago.

Great spot; went here on a rainy evening so the retractable roof was closed, but it was still so nice. Drinks are strong and food is delicious.

This was a great spot to meet up for Happy Hour! We got there right when they opened at 4:30. The service was great and the margaritas were good. Not my favorite drink, but the ambiance was perfect. We didn’t end up eating, but the food menu looked delicious. Will be trying the food next time!

Terrible service. Food took 45 min to come out and drinks were prob served around 30 min. They were very backed up!

Ambiance and service was fantastic! Food and drink quality not so much. Yucca fries were very hard. Chicken empanada small plate were good. Moscow mules weren't very good. Very limited drink menu. If the bartender has only 8 drinks to make they should be made at a high quality.
