The food was pretty cold and the first bottle of Prosecco we had was flat. I think they were slightly understaffed also. However the atmosphere was nice & location good.

Great service! Bottle was always ready when doing bottomless. Would recommend.

Boozy brunch was awesome. Really generous with the drinks and we had an absolutely great time.

After several emails and confirmations when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. I later had an email 'confirming' I had eaten there.

Went for bottomless brunch with my sister. Great and friendly service, never with an empty glass!
Burger and dessert was delicious too.
The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the actual condition and cleanliness off the place especially the toilets. The place could use a bit of makeover as it looks and feels run down. I visited lasy 2 years ago and no change since.

Lovely cosy restaurant, decor potentially isn’t family friendly but we loved the ambience and the staff were very attentive! Food was good.

This was our 2nd time eating at BV in the last month. We’ve had great meals. Broad menu choices.

Third time we've eaten here now and enjoyed every time. We use it as a venue to take visitors when they are coming down too London. The prices are very reasonable (by London standards) and the service really pleasant and unpretentious. Bloomsbury is a really nice cosmopolitain area and there are several nice pubs nearby (we use the Mabel's Tavern).

Great place for a brunch, lovely atmosphere, pretty smoothies and tasty meals. Decor is quite alternative and French. Fun ambience.

The only thing I would recommend the owners is to add a menu for coffee drinks - they can make whatever you like but it’s not written in any menu so you need to ask personally about options. Not a big deal but would be a nice touch.

We really enjoyed our meal at Bon Vivant, it was a lovely vibe and food was good, I got the salmon and my partner chose the steak. Would definitely return.

Brilliant and attentive staff for bottomless brunch

We had the reservation and when we got ther told us that the kitcken was closed.

Really good place for pre cinema dinner at 5pm (most other places nearby don't start service before 6pm). Suggest you stick to sensible wine list - cocktails were mediocre. Well cooked classic meat dishes. Tart tatane was delicious and big enough for two unless you are really hungry.

Sloppy service, badly cooked, careless meal. I have had good meals here in the past, but was very disappointed on this occasion.

Its my go to place for brunch whenever my girlfriends and I meet up for a good catch up every few months.

Really loved the big booth table and that the staff let us linger long after we’d finished eating. Lovely atmosphere. The food was ok but not great. I had the duck it was a bit overcooked and came on a mountain of very sweet red cabbage. We didn’t say anything as it was all edible just not great. BUT the atmosphere is so nice I’d happily go back

Cooking was very good. Service very efficient. The ambience is pleasant but a little dark : we had difficulties to read the menu and the prices in red !!! But it was a good experience in London

If you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind paying a fair bit for a smallish brunch, I’d recommend Bon Vivant. Atmosphere’s lovely and the menu is extensive.

It was a shame as there was a huge table of about 12 who were opposite us and they were incredibly loud, drunk and really obnoxious. They spoilt the otherwise nice atmosphere and we were not served that attentively as perhaps the waiting staff were also avoiding that noisy area of the venue. It’s a shame as the drunch menu isn’t cheap and the service should of been better for the price. The food was quite good though. Although our pancakes were actually fried sponge cake rather than American style pancakes which was a bit rich and unusual!

Overall, a very enjoyable experience. The food was good, the service excellent and friendly and considering the location the price was reasonable. Better than the many chains that bow proliferate.

Brilliant as always- such a nice atmosphere and and the service was great; the bottomless brunch is the highlight of the menu and the food had been improved again!

Good French brasserie style restaurant near the British Museum. Nice selection of salads as well as hot dishes. Service was friendly.

Great value for money for the bottomless lunch. Food is nice and reasonable priced. It was a lovely afternoon with my friend! I loved the techno background music too!

The music was loud, the people around were also loud. The food came late and it was not good food. I’ve been there before on numerous occasions for business meals, but this experience was not good at all.
