Great place with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food

The whole restaurant was totally quiet until a large table showed up. They were quite noisy but the restaurant can't be blamed for this! We had a blast with their DIY kebab (starters were really good too)!
The thing is, and we discovered it later, table next to us was occupied by another couple who were saying to everyone how food was great and how they were happy about everything... This couple were the chef and sous chef of a Michelin 3* restaurant! If this gentleman doesn't know about cooking I really don't who does!

Service was nice and really chill, they speak English and French!

I would totally recommend anyone to give this place a try!

The welcoming, service, food, ambiance were simply amaizing!! Alexis his chef sister and his team are going a step further inviting you for an immersion into how they imagine having some host at their table - I fully recommend it.

A definite favourite spot in Lisbon. Amazing menu, each dish sings from starters through to dessert (we had every one on our table last night ; ). The sharing lamb main is one of the best dishes I've eaten in Lisbon (I've eaten a lot of dishes in Lisbon!) The service is faultless, attentive without being overbearing. The setting and ambience is wonderful. Feels like a tardis that just opens up into a beautiful garden. Highly recommend!

We loved the food so much that within 4 days in Lisbon we went twice. Compared to *Michelin restaurant Eleven, we MUCH preferred Boubou’s. The explosion of flavours and the aesthetics of each dish were fabulous.
For the ones who watched Ratatouille from Walt Disney, I lived the fire works at Boubou’s. Can’t recommend Louise (the cook) and Alexie (the boss) enough.

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday dinner at BouBous and had such an amazing and romantic evening. We had oysters, the ceviche (can’t remember the name of the fish) and Crab blunts for starters and the big octopus and Sweet potatoes as main course (best Sweet potatoes I have ever tasted). So yummy! Very nice and friendly waiters. The sorroundings were beautiful! We had this place recommend from ceveral friends and it did not dissappoint.

Cool atmosphere, quite refined food overall and very nice service, but a little pricy (40-50€ per person)
