Great food with a range of dishes. Would go back again
We had the Pimped Feast and it was fantastic! Get it!
Great place just to sit relax and have some amazing food and get some amazing service
Pimped tasting menu was phenomenal!
Took my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day . Good vibe, more funky than fine dining. But the food was great. Can recommend .
Great food and especially great and friendly service from the owner, would highly recommend.
Indian infusion that was welcome from a non Indian foodie. Sadly the scallops were like rubber bullets and our server was nervous as trainees in the kitchen. Sat under a very cold air conditioning unit which meant we ate as quick as possible and left. Disappointing given I'd made a reservation a month ago.
Beautiful food, fantastic service and brilliant value. We went with a large group and everyone raved about it. Looking forward to returning very soon!
My friends and I went for the feast and unlimited wine/beer and we were not disappointed! The food was just delicious and vast, so much variety and flavour and plenty of it! The wine was great and topped up regularly too, and the wait staff were all really friendly and energetic. Would recommend to all!
Service is outstanding!!! Always made to feel welcome. Food is excellent
We had the $55 feast. The food was a great Indian fusion, very tasty.
Perfect for a group social or birthday celebration.
Such a great place! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. One of my fave spots in Sydney!
Staff were lovely, the food was TERRIBLE. Everything was oily and deep fried. Really disappointing.
We loved the ‘Pimp my Feast’ dinner at Brick Lane! Welcome cocktail was tasty, food was delicious and interesting. My gluten free friend was well catered for. Service was really friendly and it was incredible value! Couldn’t ask for more. Will recommend and will be back!
Great staff and delicious food at a very reasonable price, especially for the banquet menu.
How have I only just found out about this place? Food is sensational. Flavorsome is an understatement. The explanation from our waitress Kieran (turns out to be the owner) of every dish was simple, helpful and showed her passion for her business and food.
Do yourself a favor, get yourself in there. Definitely now on my favorite places to eat in Sydney list.
Banquet was excellent and great value for money!! Great service too.
Great venue for groups, value for money and fantastic food.
Great food, casual friendly vibe, super tasty - we'll be back!
Wow, where do I start?
1. The entire "bottomless feast" was so misleading! When I booked, I was MISLED to understand that we would be served wine and beer for 2 hours. Only after we were rudely cut off by incompetent serving staff after 1hr 30 mins was I told that the SITTING was for 2 hours and the "bottomless" drinks was for 1hrs 30 mins.
2. The serving staff were incompetent. My friends and I had to wait between 10-15 minutes before we could be served.
3. If not for the great quality of the food, we would have left immediately.
If you're looking for a great night out, with "bottomless" drinks with a group of friends, don't go here!
Great food! Awesome service and a beautiful ambiance
Amazing food and good value! Some cocktails are pretty good too!
Amazing service and value for money with the 'pimp my feast' option.
Went for lunch with a couple of work colleagues. Great service, great food and ok busy Stanley St where there’s plenty about. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food for great value I’ll certainly be back
We loved the food and the value for money. Our waitress was so friendly and our bottomless wine was constantly full. We will definitely be back!
Great food, value, and staff. Will be back for sure!
The food was decent and the service was pretty good. Some of the food was over priced and overall despite eating 6 different dishes they all tasted a bit the same.
Decent food without being exceptional. Feast with bottomless beer and wine was generous and excellent value for money.
Staff are really attentive and food was really good. The banquet is great value for money.
A really fun night made even better by the lovely staff. Went for the $55.00 banquet option with the $5.00 addition for the Roti. Eight courses of interesting, delicious and plentiful food with never ending and very generous top ups of quality red wine.
Definitely recommend and definitely will return.
Excellent service - all girls exceptionally lovely
Food amazing - wil definitely be back!
Excellent for a celebration or catch up
Outstanding most friendly n down to earth service. Well through through food. Good vibe and great value w the bottomless drinks! Will highly recommend.
Heard about Brick Lane from some friends and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! Service and wine menu was great and enjoyed the mixture of dishes.
Great venue and food was good. Very disappointed to be penalised by a surcharge on the bill for being a vegetarian. Meat is more expensive than vegetables and Indian food is known to promote vegetarian food. Also way to make your customers feel like a chore!
I'm so sorry to hear you left feeling penalised for being a veggo. That's certainly not our intention at all and i feel dreadful that this was the outcome! The very brief explanation for why we charge $3 for menu adjustments (vegan, veggo, GF or DF) on our $55 Bottomless Set Menu is because we make so little profit at this price point. Menu adjustments add labour and are more expensive as they are made in smaller quantities. I'd love to explain in more depth but OT have a small word count!
Brick lane takes all the fun out of going out for dinner.
Strange pricing model with a "feast" that leaves you hungry, unlimited beer that the manager/owner doesn't like and options for "pimping" your feast which sounds strange and also isnt appealing. You can upgrade your beers and pay the difference which according to the menu is $1 but according to your bill at the end is $3.
Everything actually costs an extra $3 including roti with curries.
Then there's the food with exciting little additions like pate in the pork belly dish which just doesn't work.
Portions are small, when you ask for chilli on the side it either doesn't come at all or you are offered 28 varieties of Sambal which is over complicated and you most likely see that on your bill too.
When we were asked if we were still hungry we were told that's all there is. I would think for $55 the restaurant could afford to throw us 1 more curry with rice to make sure we leave happy.
Service is obnoxious and patronising.
Won't be back or recommend.
Hi Adam, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy you visit to Brick Lane and i'm gutted you didn't mention any of this to me on the night, giving me an opportunity to address your disappointment! Opentable only give us 500 characters to respond so I have no opportunity here to explain our product, pricing, offering or my taste in beer! If someone was rude, please let me know who that was so I can address it immediately! As for more curry, all you had to do was ask and i would have happily given you more :-)
Great atmosphere and service. Food not too bad. Recommended particularly for those who are young at heart and don’t mind some spice in their dining experience
The friendly staff, excellent ambiance and delicious food make Brick Lane a must try.
Wonderful food & fantastic service. Highly recommend.
