Bricks and Barley
Heard great reviews so went to try it out , service was poor but the food was great !
Great spot for drinks (great selection on local brewerys and winerys) and food. Very reasonable pricing and generous portions. Will certainly be back when in the NOTL area.
It was my first time there the food and service was amazing. I also felt comfortable even with the pandemic going on seats spread out enough.
The patio was great the fireplaces were particularly nice. Food was not very good.
The food we had was pretty over priced for what we got. The charcuterie was not worth it at all. I could have spent the same amount at the grocery store and had a much better bigger spread with more flavor for sure although the cranberry jam was nice. And at 630 they were out of some entrées already wich was disappointing if you weren't going for pizza. The bruschetta was delicious. Otherwise, probably won't be back. This is our 3rd attempt and it just wasn't satisfying.
We arrived from a Winery Guys tour for 6 women, this place was near to the Wineries which was perfect because we didn't have to rush out to get there. We were not disappointed whatsoever with the environment of this restaurant. It was very welcoming, and comfortable. The menu has a great variety - I purposely chose this restaurant above others because of this feature. Also, the options for drinks was wonderful too! The only lost star on this review was for the length of time and wait we had when we arrived. We did sit and wait for a server, and then the server seemed spread thin with many arrivals at the same time. It wasn't horrific, but being that we were on a time limit, it forced a quick exit for us in the end. The food was amazing! 3 of us had the honey stir-fry and loved it! Thought about it the next day! Well done! Definitely recommend.
Great food and drink. My burger was done to perfection and my husband’s pizza was awesome. Casual place to stop after a round of golf and before a visit to a few wineries. Would highly recommend mainly for the food.
Great food and great place!
Myself and a friend came in tonight (October, 16) and were seated at an outside table as per requested for online reservations. Nowhere did we read anything about heating/ lamps for your dinner patio dining. It is 8 degrees and we were expecting atleast heated lamps at each table for customers. There is only 3 fireplaces with one table in front of each. I asked our hostess when being seated if we would be close to the fires and he responded with “kind of”.
I just wanted to let you know that it wasn’t a very pleasant experience or meal because of the reasons listed above. Our meals didn’t stay hot when served and we ate as quickly as possible. It would be helpful if you could be more descriptive about your outside dining for this time of year as it’s getting colder at night. Customers would appreciate knowing what to expect upon arrival.
Other than everything listed above, your staff was kind and the food is really good.
Hope you take this review into consideration. I will only be coming back when inside dining is available as it’s too cold to enjoy food and drink outside without heating.
Good food! Less choices though than before the pandemic.
Delicious pizza, excellent service. Patio tables are well spaced and we saw staff disinfect each table and chairs after customers left prior to seating the next group.
Everything was great during this food from the staff to the food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing like usual!!
Always the first place we pick for family out nights
Stopped for a small lunch before heading to NOTL for the night. Service qas excellent, food was delicious!
Found a black olive and cheese curd in my coleslaw. Server said sorry but seemed to either not believe us or care. We had 3 fish n chips, 2 calamari and a mushroom pizza along with a few rounds of locals brews. No olives or curds in these meals. Not a huge deal as we do work in hospitality but for the $200 spent i think she could have atleast said she would mention it to the kitchen so it doesnt happen again.
Regardless Im sure ill be back again but not sure B n B is top of my list as it once was.
It was our second time in Bricks and Bailey. We came purposefully from Toronto to try the best food ever.
Best pizza! Fried chicken was also great but I would suggest a little less salt.
Menu is awesome. Gluten free items are plentiful and delicious. Cant' wait to go back!!
Food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Always a good time and consistent service.
Amazing food and service! Would for sure recommend.
Excellent food . Social distancing was adhered to. Good service friendly waitress.
I have been back several times. Food and service has always been great! We usually sit inside but this last time sat in the patio and not one bee came around! It was lovely!
Had a lovely lunch and experience. Service was great, food excellent, bottle if wine ver good.
Excellent wings and salads. Our server was so friendly and hospitable.
Don't recommend the deep fried dill pickles. Too greasy and smelled like fish. Excellent beer!
Delicious food! Too many awesome options! Clean, fast service!
The service and food was outstanding!! I love that they have so many gluten free options
I got the honey ponzu stir fry and it was SO Good I can’t wait to go back
Highly recommend Bricks and Barley. Was there today for a Birthday with my fam. Prompt friendly service and the food is definitely worth a return visit. The Wachos and Pretzel bites were sooo good !! Hamburger and wrap were too good no pic taken 😂
Great first time experience. Will definitely come back again.
My first visit to a restaurant since February and I felt comfortable and safe ... the food was very good (lots !!!) and our server was pleasant and efficient. I thought it was a little pricey, but then what isn't nowadays. Not 5 stars but that would mean it was perfect and I'm not sure what perfection is. Yes, I would recommend the Bricks and Barley and I hope to return.
Pretty good value for a NOTL restaurant. Good range of options on the menu. Pizza is very good.
This was our first time at Brick's and Barley we had heard many wonderful things. Our first impression not too good because the hostess was not pleasant at all when we arrived. I gave her our name for our reservation and she could not find it, I showed her the email with the confirmation. She said I cancelled it, I said I don't think so why would I pick up our friends and drive all the way there if I canceled it?? We sat outside and it was quite chilly, it is too bad they don't have any heaters, they had some small fireplaces that added a nice ambience but since we were too far away from there cannot comment on if they provided warmth. We ordered a couple of apps. The pretzel bites came and thy were good but came with 'cheese" like you would get a an establishment with nachos and it was ice cold. The dip with assorted bread we ordered was okay but came with only some pita bread an not an assortment as described. Had a wrap with root veggie fries which was good. The charcuterie board, over priced for what was on it. The wait staff were friendly and attentive.
We had a fairly nice meal out on the patio on a pretty cool evening. The service was good, but the food could have been warmer when it arrived. The patio area is definitely nice and this is the third time we have taken advantage of eating outside at Bricks and Barley during the Pandemic.
There were four of us and we started with drinks and the "wachos" and then had pizza, fish & chips and 2 of the steak wraps and all were tasty.
We will be back again.
We as a family decided to have my moms 60th dinner. I throught everything was good but was very disappointed when our meal came out 3 of us ordered the chicken dinner not worth $19 at all you got 2 little pieces of chicken one was a wing and thigh the other was a wing and a small breast and the last one was a total joke a wing and a leg the waitress knew how unimpressed I was and offered me an extra piece but still it should never of been brought to our table it was unbelievable. Might try the place again but will never order the chicken dinner again not a good first time experience for me or my family.
Love all the gluten friendly options. The curd clusters are amazing and the wings are delicious. Really enjoyed desert although price was a little high. Everything else is priced well making this place great for locals like us!
Great food and great service. We had 8 people in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal.
First time. Food was beyond belief. Value = potion size and quality product.
Great Gluten Free options. Great drinks available.
Great Place to eat, excellent food and service. We booked online easy to do.
The table was ready to look over the menu l ordered the Pizza with chicken bacon and caramelized onions and Spinach which was put on after so not all wilted, my sister had the smoked meat sandwich and salad she loved it waiter was very helpful. After lunch l had a glass of wine and my sister had a dark and stormy night. The food value is excellent as they don't skimp on portion size great value for your money. If you like beer check out the selection at Bricks and Barley.
Great place to eat and enjoy time. Great service.
Great food. A bit pricey but the quality was good.
