                        The main reason for my less-than-stellar review is that we arrived on time for our reservation but were told we’d have to wait 30 minutes for a table or eat at the bar. Since we had specifically booked a table and were already hungry, we ended up taking seats at the bar, which unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the meal. Overall, our experience at Brindle Room was passable. The burgers were tasty and cooked perfectly, but the drinks lacked flavor.

                        Tucked away in alphabet city, the menu is limited, but what they offer is done very well. $22 bottomless mimosas. Generous portion of French toast,shakshuka, and probably the best chicken wings I’ve ever had. Carson was our waiter, friendly and attentive. It was delightful and three of us ate like ticks for under $100 bucks.

                        The food here was good, but the menu options were very limited. To me, it was a basic place with basic service. You know it's basic when the name of the place comes up for ratings and you have to really think about when you were there (it was only about 3 weeks ago)....speaks volumes. Good food, but I don't think I'll be back.

                        All was exactly as promised - fantastic service (very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu/bar options); comfortable, delicious hamburger and perfect fries! And brussel sprouts with tahini were excellent starter. We have been to many, many, many of NYC's hamburger spots, from holes in the wall to white napkin/tablecloth dining - Brindle Room's burger is among the best.
