BRIO Tuscan Grille - Lawrenceville - Quaker Bridge
Made reservation through open table, very easy. Got immediate confirmation. We were immediately seated when we arrived. First time at Brio, very pleased with the experience will return!
It was all very good. Except I did not earn open table points
Food was delicious and plentiful Nice ambiance. Always enjoy dining at this restaurant.
Our poor waitress had her hands full...literally. She had to wait on the entire room plus the bar. The food was the usual good fare, but I think that management needs to step it up a bit.
Very nice dinner. Come on, our server was very sweet and took good care of us.
Very relaxing and able to laugh and have a fun time. Sat in bar area.... drinks were top shelf during happy hour and so was food. All around pleasant night out. Bartender Steph was sociable and accommodating.
Let me start by saying that I am not a huge Brio fan (when I want Italian, or in this case Italian-styled food, I prefer small, local eateries). I went with my brother and his family along with our parents. Dinner was very mediocre. The "specials" were simply featured dishes from the regular menu offered at no special price!
I had the shrimp and lobster fettucine. The shrimp were good, the lobster, as expected, was scarce. The dish was a bit dry (not enough of the cream sauce). Everyone else ordered typical meals as well: chicken milanese, chicken limone and salmon. No one complained but no one really loved their meals either.
When dessert time came (and we wanted dessert for our dad's birthday), we were told there was no coffee or tea because the machines were dismantled while being relocated. (OK, how hard is it to boil water for tea?).
Did I hate the meal? Absolutely not. Would I go back? Probably not.
Service was good. Food was so so. One problem with the soup - the lobster soup was so salty, and we did not see any response after we complained.
Food and service was excellent we were by the kitchen which was very noisy it’s an open kitchen but everything was excellent will definitely go back.
Graduation from high school
Nice atmosphere, good food and drink topped off with great service. Also a nice menu selection with my favorite being the lasagna.
I always order lobster bisque because it is some of the best around. Only wanted a small dinner so ordered the wedge salad as well. It was delicious. My husband was dining at Brio for the first time and really enjoyed his shrimp entree.
Had an awesome dinner to celebrate Father’s Day for my husband.
I enjoy the ambiance of Brio and it is one of our go to places. The service was prompt and the waiter was very friendly and efficient. The food was good, but it seems as though something has changed. Maybe a new chef? I got the Salmon salad and it did not wow me like it used to. My husband also had to send his plate back because it was cold. We also loved the veal which is no longer on the menu.
This review has two parts: generally very good and a substantial recent incident
1. We like to go to Brio with our young kids and family. The food is tasty, the price reasonable, the service attentive, and the noise level acceptable. We will go back again, for sure. However....
2. We went on Father's Day and had a very bad experience. There is a space for a private function separated by a curtain from the main dining room. The event had incredibly loud music with a performer there ... no one should ever have allowed this and while they tried to address it, people who were seated at the other side of the curtain started to leave the restaurant. They didn't shut off the overhead music either, so there was double or triple the amount of noise (the restaurant was more full because of Father's day and everyone raised their voices to be heard). Also, the kitchen and/or staff were totally unprepared to handle an event and a busy Father's day lunch. Food took 45 minutes to get to our table. They adjusted the bill only after we got it and complained.
So, a place we like, but will never to go again when it might be busy or on an important day.
The food was good but the service was very poor and slow
My husband and I went there for my birthday. The food was great! We really liked what we ordered. Everything was cooked to perfection. I will definitely return for lunch or dinner. Recommend Brio for upscale Italian food.
Dirty floors and tables. Sub par drinks. Greasy food. For the price its just not worth it.
Both my husband and I are always happy with our meals at Brio but the Shrimp Capri is the best shrimp dish I have ever had. The sauce is SO delicious!!!!!
Nothing out of the ordinary. We had a good evening with friends
It was a busy Friday evening. Service took a little longer than past visits. This was understandable due to the volume. It took what seemed to be an inordinate time to clear the table and provide the check.
Executive Chef Todd happened upon us, and took care of things. Very pleased with this type of customer service under the circumstances.
We order chicken in Pesto sauce no taste and dry My second time there will not be back
It was Mothers Day
The waiter disappeared for a bit after food arrived had to ask another waiter to refill drinks. Although it was very busy. Still great place to eat and nice atmosphere. I'm going again
I thought the service, location, and atmosphere were exceptional. The food however was a tad bit on the salty side. It wasn’t just my dish either as our entire party thought the same thing about their individual dish.
Had a great time and meal at Brio! The food was delicious. Waiter was very polite. Had a great time!
Eaten here many times and we love it! This time, unfortunately, my meal was not good. The chicken Marsala was rubbery and felt undercooked. Stick to pasta, steak and seafood here and you will be happy with your meal every time! :)
Delicious Mother's Day brunch. Comfortable and clean. Good ambience. Delicious food. Excellent and attentive service.
Brio is a very nice restaurant. This is the first time we ever went there for Sunday brunch. It was excellent and we had the best omelettes we have ever had - really delicious!
Good quality food, well prepared and presented. Reasonable selection of wines by the glass.
Food was excellent.
Salmon was better than expected and our Caesar salad was as good any I’ve had.
Service was a bit too rushed. We were in and out pretty quickly. Wasn’t looking for a long dinner but seemed a bit fast paced.
We have dined at this location on several occasions, when staying in or passing through the Princeton area, as well as at their locations in the Cherry Hill NJ area. The food is always good, so we know we can anticipate a good meal. Dinner portions are large; expect to need to take some home.
The only 'down' side is that they seem to be very popular with large groups of people (birthdays, office parties, etc.) so the noise level can be pretty intense -- loud enough that you can't hear the waiter speak to you.
Stef was a great waiter. Service was quick & accomondating. Food great. I would definitely come back again.
Average or less food, server not familiar with contents of menu item, not particularly clean. Not worth the visit.
Our dinner at Brio was phenomenal as always. Service was great and Chef Todd was awesome. He came to our table to make sure everything was perfect.
soup of the day - average at best
fish of the day trout - bland
best items was bread and shrimp and eggplant appetizer
Friendly staff. Great service. Excellenct menu selection and a good price.
Not a fabulous experience time. Platters an Were not presented properly, food was sub standard but the service was fine.
After a reservation problem (brunch reservation was confirmed for 11:00 am but restaurant opens at 11:30 - hope someone contacted Open Table) - staff quickly got our large group seated. Service and food were excellent! Everyone enjoyed their meals and it was wonderful way to celebrate Grammy’s birthday!
Excellent service, food is very good. The restaurant was willing to change one of the meals as per our requested. I will recommend this restaurant.
