Brisbane Phoenix Chinese Restaurant
We elected to go for a la carte for lunch. We had a very enjoyable meal, particularly liked the Pippa Duck. I liked being presented tea to start. The wine/beer list was extensive & well priced. We'll definitely be back, planning to try the Yum Cha next time.
Charged for 2 teas when only one was taken.
Plates are dearer than other Asian places I attend.
I dine regularly at Sky Phoenix and Parramatta Phoenix and both are superior to the Brisbane one.
Validated parking for lunch is too expensive too.
Eat here most weekends and it’s a wonderful experience. Yum Cha is great and staff are wonderful. Highly recommended
Excellent service and food what more can you ask for
We had a great meal, loved the duck pancakes, salt pepper squid and the sticky pork with black vinegar, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. We will be back!
Pheonix Brisbane had amazing food! Was a great experience and excellent service too, especially when i had to make changes to my reservation a few times.
Delicious meal, the best Chinese outside of Melbourne!
Short of waiter/waitress! Need more service! Hope will improve next time
best yum cha in the town
Great food, superb service, will definitely dine here again soon
Service was pretty poor, spent most of the night trying to flag down staff. Had an empty wine glass for an hour, staff not really making eye contact or rushing passed..
I would say this is right up there with the best Chinese restaurant in Brisbane.
Service is impeccable.
Fantastic venue also.
Delicious meals and fantastic service!
The venue was easy to find and we were well looked after.
Love this restaurant. Great food and service, and extremely good value!
Yum Cha was a bit slow coming out of the kitchen, but that’s covid I assume.....Mango Pancakes are unbelievable
Definitely some of the better yum cha in Brisbane CBD.
Great food and such helpful friendly staff. Would always recommend.
Finally, a Sydney-standard Yum Cha in Brissie! So happy :)
Staffs are not very attentive and was ignored by waiters a few times when I tried to get their attention.
Endlessly returning here for all aspects of the restaurant, food is awesome, staff great and service fantastic!
Absolutely amazing! Mouth watering food, such kind staff & beautiful interior/ design (very fancy). Loved every second being there and the food, thank you for the amazing experience!
Happy they have now added congee to the yum cha menu
Amazing food, service and venue. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious and good value. We especially loved the lobster 🦞 Highly recommended for a romantic dinner, family outing, special occasion or a large group dining.
Thanks guys, great Chinese food!! tough time for restaurants and you guys are doing a great job.
Good food and services!!
Fabulous food and service. We will be back
A beautiful restaurant in a quiet location. Perfect for special occasions or dinner with friends
Attentive service, good selection and quality of dim sums
Average food for the price, although we did order everything from the GF menu which may differ from the rest of the menu
Had to order yumcha off a menu. Surely you can't call it yumcha if the food is not brought around on a trolley. Understand, that is a part of the experience - the trolley!!!
I understand it is probably to save costs. But it takes away from the experience. But I thought to myself well at least we will get exactly what we want because we are ordering from a menu.
The wait, was too long and the food, THE FOOD WAS BARELY WARM when it got to the table and tasted kind of stale!!! Is it wrong to expect hot, fresh yumcha?
The service was great. No problems there. But if you are going to insult your customers by poor quality food that is cold, don't expect customers to return. I won't be. Am very disappointed. I am a massive yumcha eater. I'd easily say Brisbane Phoenix Chinese Restaurant serves the worst yumcha in Brisbane. The all you could eat yumcha that was in the valley was similar quality food. They closed down. I don't wonder why.
20th Wedding Anniversary - mains brought out before we’d even finished our entrees
Service wasn’t rude but quite aloof and general ambience very ordinary
My only issue is when you are offered tea like water and say yes to then have them continue to bring fresh pots and then charged for it. But otherwise it was great
Great food. Highly recommend the Mongolian beef. Good price for quality of food & atmosphere.
Very nice Chinese Restaurant. Had yum cha for lunch and food was very good. The staff are very attentive as we were there with a toddler. Will visit again.
We’ve eaten at Phoenix more than a dozen times since they opened and we love it. Fantastic food, great service, well priced wine list and happy attentive staff. All in all it’s our go to for high end Chinese and their Dim Sum is the best in Brisbane.
A great experience all round. Service was attentive and food delicious albeit some dim sum being oversteamed. Their prices are on the higher end for yum cha, so be prepared to pay.
Everything was delicious. Easily the best yum cha I’ve eaten in Brisbane
No tap water. Charged $8 for a bottle of water.
Food was absolutely beautiful amd could not fault it. Was concerned the $22 fried rice was very pricey but it was packed with prawns and scallops so was well worth it!
Will definitely return here again.
A group of 3 of us shared an assortment of dumplings, seafood and meat dishes. Each dish was spectacular and elegant. Good serving sizes too.
The coral trout with chopped chilli was a standout for me!
Service was friendly and prompt.
Will absolutely be back!
Probably the best Chinese food in Brisbane. Absolutely fantastic. Staff were helpful and attentive. Our only complaint would be the noise. There was a lot of plate banging. Probably not helped because dirty dishes are stacked in the bar and then wheeled through the restaurant. Dont let this put you off though.
