Bristol Seafood + Steak + Social
Seafood Mixed Grill
shrimp, scallops, salmon, jumbo lump crab cake, yukon mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus
I really enjoyed the experience of the restaurant but overall the food was only OK and not what I was expecting. My lobster was over done and my scallops were a little tougher than I would’ve liked! The lobster mac & cheese noodles were hard but the oysters and lobster bisque were five stars! The service was only OK as well, our waitress did not check in on us as frequently as I would’ve liked, I had to ask for refills of water from different staff memebes and would have ordered more drinks if I was asked. Overall 3/5 stars.
My girlfriend and I had dinner for our anniversary and everything was really good. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
My daughter and her boyfriend went for a birthday dinner. Said food was great and their service was super pleasant!
Food very good as was service. Had halibut and a special. Both were very good.
I should of requested a different table!
A nice quiet booth would of been nice.
Still recovering from COVID. Seemed to be short-staffed. Our server was great/nice/professional, but 3 of 6 meals came out with incorrect side items... There were long stretches in-between server checking on us (but he was extremely busy with other tables). Happy to be out in restaurants - but hopeful for all restaurants that they recover and can create the same service levels they were previously known for.
Service was exceptional, staff management was attentive, and the food was delicious. Definitely worth the price.
Wonderful meal. We started at the bar for a cocktail, the bartender was excellent. We were seated at our both and had a truly "fine dining" experience. We continue to visit the Bristol for this very reason.
They had our table ready. Everything was clean and well spaced. The staff was excellent, the food was amazing and we will go again.
I was expecting Sunday Brunch. The website wasn't clear it was canceled due to the Easter holiday.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch!
Always enjoy the vibe, food was good and came out in good time...waiter was good! Just not as attentive sometimes...but thats no big deal. Enjoyed my time and love being able to avoid the wait by having reservations!
The whole experience was Outstanding!
Not crowded. Food was very good.
Hostess was unfriendly. Manager stated three servers didnt show, so they were short handed, and we had to wait for our table. Bloody Mary cocktail was not good. Coffee was good. Appetizer arrived at the same time and the entrees. Omelet was only one egg, and greasy. Fried potatoes and peppers were barely warm. Toast was cold and as crunchy as a cracker. Fish was not tasty. Three of four meals were not good enough to finish. Waiter did an adequate job. We didnt complain at the time because we were trying to have a good time with our family. Didn't want to spoil our time together. We paid and left. We have tried Bristol Seafood four (4) times now, and have decided not to return any more. Sorry. Please take my comments seriously. I dine in many fine restaurants and do speak the truth about this establishment. Poor at best.
Our server Gus took excellent care of us as always.
Only problem is that we had to wait about 20 min for a table even though we had made a reservation the day before. Other than that, wonderful as usual
Food was amazing. Staff were quick and very polite. We went with 4 people. A little pricey for us though.
Chose the Bristol for our anniversary dinner as my wife loves seafood. She was extremely happy as was I with my KC strip!
Bristol is consistently excellent for food quality and service.
Welcoming and comfortable location. I will be back.
We went to this restaurant 2 hours before an event at the T-Mobile Center. The restaurant was not full and our service started out promptly, but as the afternoon went on, the service became worse and worse. The food took forever, no explanation was given, and we were rarely visited by our waiter. I know waitstaff has a hard job balancing too friendly with competent but cold, but yikes, I think we were forgotten clients. We had to ask for the check as soon as our food arrived in order to pay our bill and get out of there on time. We were still a few minutes late to the event. Would only recommend if you don't need to be anywhere on time after dinner.
The place was very casual. I thought it was more of an upscale restaurant.
Quick seating, great service and food. Staff was very friendly.
Alex was our server and did excellent job! Food was delicious. Had oysters, cauliflower and lobster pizza appetizers. Excellent
It couldn’t have been any better! Service was perfection. It was super cold last night and we were delighted when our food came out piping hot! Best cocktails ever!
This was our first time dining at Bristol and we definitely plan to go back. Our server, Michelle, was excellent and helped make our visit exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and just a nice person which made everything that much more enjoyable. The food was delicious. The drinks were delectable. We had a great time from start to finish.
We had a reservation for 7:30 and got seated at 7:50. The biscuits were amazing, but we spent a total of $125 for food that wasn’t even seasoned and for shrimp that was still raw in the middle. We felt bad since our waitress seemed new so we just paid and left.
The Bristol is always great at either location. Great food, great service, and a great bar area.
Our waiter Brett was amazing! The lobster bisque was fantastic but the lobster Mac and cheese wasn’t that good and the Caesar salad was sub par.
Service great! Appetizers - oysters fresh calamari fair. Entrees not so great. Crab cakes dry and tasteless. Mashed potatoes cold and tasted old. Lobster okay. Fresh fish average. Asparagus stringy. We have never had bad food here so very disappointed!
Birthday dinner was fabulous! Waitress Michelle was outstanding! Best meal in KC so far!
The carrot cake was delicious
The atmosphere at Bristol was vibrant; we were excited for a great experience and delicious food. Unfortunately that was not our experience. We arrived later in the evening, and the restaurant was not very busy. However, we waited nearly 30 minutes for water and drinks and when our food finally arrived, our salmon was still raw (yikes). Also, the asparagus was undercooked and the remoulade for crab cakes tasted like plain mayonnaise. We were not impressed.
The oysters were either pre shucked or old oysters as there was barely seawater in any of the oysters and they looked dried out with brown edges on the thin areas of the oyster. The scallops were very small & came out cold along with the risotto.
I haven’t eaten there for about 5 years and definitely will skip going back.
Seemed kind of amateurish. Not the quality you would expect from a restaurant like this. I had salmon on a plank, almost no seasoning - however, after asking for, and salting myself, it was fairly good. Sides of potatoes and green beans was very sparce. Salmon was glued to the plank, had to scrape it off ( I don't think it supposed to be like this?).
Oysters Rockefeller was pretty good.
Lobster bisque was pretty good.
Scallpps was pretty good, again sides were very sparse. Ordered side of green beans and Asparagus. Green beans were cooked to the right doneness, but they were bland. Same with the Asparagus, but they were almost over cooked.
Sea bass was ok, (slightly over cooked)? Not what you expect from a restaurant like this. It should be exceptional
Creme Brule was again ok, but caramelized topping was not hard/ brittle. It tasted ok.
With drinks we paid $200 - not including tip. I wanted to leave completely satisfied. We weren't.
The food was undercooked and not very flavorful. The best part of the meal was the carrot cake.
Overall... meh. The service was ok but not worth the menu prices. On a very slow night we were both given the wrong side. The solution was to leave it with us and bring the correct food to add to it. Ok. Also, we both ordered the same thing. However, my wife ordered a medium well steak. I ordered a medium rare steak. In my opinion, they were both just medium. Either way, they were identical. Overall, not terrible and nobody is perfect. But, when I’m spending $125, I expect more effort and closer to perfect.
Everything was amazing! Our food was so good! The atmosphere was so cool!
They seem to like to judge people for what they wear. Took forever to get drinks and food, and the scallops were undercooked. I’d find better service at red lobster for a way better price. This place was filled with nothing but loud obnoxious people. This is more of a farm than a restaurant. Ruined my appetite on top of the undercooked food. Gross.
