   Beautiful place but we were put in the back room. Really should be called out when you make a reservation. Service was still very good and it was just personal preference but I wouldn't want to sit there again. They try very hard to make it a personal experience with the owner visiting your table and the staff remembering if it is a special occasion - all very nice touches. Food started off strong and ended weak. Calamari was perhaps the best I have ever had with the edition of green olives and sun dried tomatoes - same with the chopped blue salad - both so delicious, and I would return to just eat those two things. The Penne ala Vodka was fine, lots of sauce and spicy sausage, penne cooked well, but not worth its $25 price tag. Dessert was a real let down. Two large cannoli's with a bland ricotta filling and the shells were so hard they were difficult to eat. Served with a spoon that under no circumstances was going to crack that shell . We ordered coffee that was forgotten but also not charged for it. We would return with specific instructions that we want to be seated in the main room and would order or share an entrée - probably skip dessert.

   Another fantastic dining experience. Brooklyn Trattoria never disappoints whatever you order. This time I had the Ribeye, and this beat the more prestigious steakhouses. On top of that, the presentation is outstanding. Best attentive service you can get, and for this priced restaurant, it is unheard of. I am usually very picky about my choices, but I have no complaints about this restaurant. Out for a romantic dinner? This is going to satisfy you.

   I have had only great experiences at Brooklyn Trattoria. Last night was a quick happy hour with friends-- the only shortcoming was our limited time. You know I'll be back soon, for a longer relaxed dinner. :)

   Very attentive and personable service. We celebrated a birthday. They gave us a nice private table and attended to all our needs. The owner even came to our table to see how we enjoyed the evening.

   Was excited to try Brooklyn based on a friends recommendation. Cocktails were good, service was good. Ordered the Grilled Octopus and it was so over-spiced could hardly eat it, and almost sent it back it was terrible. The octopus was fine, but couldn't eat anything else, as it ruined the flavor and couldn't get the taste out of the mouth after washing with water and wine. Very disappointing. Tomato Basil soup was good. Cesar salad was also terrible, over dressed, and tasted way too fishy of anchovies to enjoy. 2nd entre was Almond Salmon Limone, which was better than the Octopus, but lacked any remarkable tasting points. Overall, disappointed. Sad experience overall.

    They absolutely enhanced the joy of going out to celebrate with friends. From the beauty table to the thoughtful server and excellent care, we had a five star evening. It’s why we come back regularly. Excellent food, fresh pasta and fabulous service.

    Absolutely loved this restaurant! Excellent variety of wines, service was fantastic and the food was delicious and well portioned. We started with the clams and mussels w/ pancetta - as well as a cup of the Doc’s tomato basil soup each, very tasty and authentic. Our main dishes were both wonderful, but my top choice is the wild mushroom ravioli - sooo good! The Gem’s tiramisu and lemon cheesecake were a wonderful finish to our meals! Definitely one restaurant we’ll be visiting again!

    If you are looking for excellent food and even better service, you have to try Brooklyn Trattoria. It may have a pedestrian feel from the outside, but once inside, you have a very comfortable relaxing atmosphere, many wonderful Italian dishes to choose from and service that “stood out” to me. Their Octopus dish was especially creative and very flavorful. I’m ready to go again!

    Such a great spot for dinner in Bethany. Top notch ambience. Food has been consistently delicious. Love the addition of the lemon cream gnocchi dish, even though this time around I went with the Chicken Madeira which is sooo good. Service has gone from mediocre (way back when they first opened) to absolutely phenomenal as of late. Props to the whole crew! You all are crushin' it. They went out of their way to make our experience special and we really had fun with that. Thanks again!

    Lovely and relatively private table for two. Flowers and chilled bubbles upon arrival just as requested. Service was friendly and attentive to everything we needed. Food was very good. Nice little chat with the owner who came by to ensure our experience was exceptional.

    I've been here a few times, and have always liked it. Maybe just an off night. Gnocchi was undercooked, and my lamb dish was just a poor cut. Very fatty and just not up to par with what I was expecting. I'll likely be back, just a bit disappointed.

    The ambiance for Valentine’s Day was great but it’s the food that was excellent. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! And we got a nice treat at the end from the owner, fine Prosecco to help the digestion. Highly recommended, best restaurant in Bethany area by far.

    Busy Saturday night before Valentine's Day led to some delay in reservations and confusion over seating. A few testy customers soured the mood, but the staff rose to the occasion and did their best, giving us a great seat in the back of the far dining room and being quite attentive during ordering and delivery. Our meals were quite tasty (chicken madeira, pappardelle de arrabiata) and perfectly cooked. Our server disappeared for a bit toward the end as things picked up. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert (would have liked to, but the moment passed), though our take-home boxes and check were processed quickly. Would definitely go back, though maybe on a quieter weekday/non-holiday evening. Thanks!

    FANTASTIC AND EFFICIENT STAFF #1 Always the whole meal is delicious! Hand crafted to perfection! BT is my “go to” restaurant! It is great for a special occasion or for just dropping by after shopping! The bartender has been there a long time and knows her drinks, wine and “ high fluting special drinks! Yummy!     My wife and I have eaten at Brooklyn Trattoria probably several dozen times now over the past 2 years and I’m not sure how they do it, but it seems to be getting better and better. The ambience with great mood lighting and background music sets the stage for great food and drink. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would probably eat there several times a week.

    My boyfriend and I love this place. Food is always good. The employees are pleasant. We especially like the fact that there are a lot of young people working there, and they do their jobs well. The owner has come to our table on several occasions just to say hi. That NEVER happens to us at other restaurants.

    Everything about our experience at Brooklyn Trattoria was exceptional. My girlfriend and I were celebrating Valentine's Day early so I wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate the holiday. I was unfamiliar with this restaurant but I did see a lot of positive reviews all over the internet. It is safe to say that our experience matched all of the other positive reviews that people have to share. I received a text a few days before the night of our dinner from someone who works there, asking if I would like to have a bottle of champagne or flowers be ready at the table when we arrived. I opted in for the bottle of champagne and my girlfriend was so happy to see that as we walked up to the table. Major kudos for the team for their thoughtfulness and ability to make her night special right from the start. Regarding the food, it lived up to the hype. We had the gnocchi bolognese and the mushroom ravioli, plus the focaccia, caesar and calamari as starters. All five dishes we ate were delicious. The extensive wine list was the perfect touch to our meal. Towards the end of our dinner, the owner, David, came over to greet us and ask how everything went. That small act from him was the perfect cap to our night/experience at Brooklyn Trattoria. He ended up talking to us for well over 20 minutes and we truly enjoyed getting to know him and learn about his journey to starting this restaurant. David proceeded to follow up with me over text the next day to personally thank us for dining at his spot. He is a really genuine person and owner. Overall, I couldn't say better things about this place and recommend it for anyone that wants to dine somewhere with a great ambience, great food, and great drinks. We will definitely be coming back soon.

    Overall we had a nice experience here. The service was a bit slow at first then really picked up the pace once we ordered. The food was pretty good but the sauces seemed too butter heavy for me. Our server was helpful and friendly.

    Trattoria restaurant offers some of the best steaks in the city along with Old World Italian food that includes the owners Grandma's Tomato Soup. YUM!     we made a reservation for 7:00 pm and arrived right on time, but we were kept waiting at the front door for almost 20 minutes. I made the reservation 2 days in advance and asked for a booth. We were finally seated at a very small table for two that was in a traffic area going to and from the kitchen. They were busy so we waited another 10 minutes or so for a waitperson to arrive at our table. So we didn't get our meal until 8:00 pm. We have dined there 5 times before and we weren't treated like the "regular" customers we felt we had become.

    Dining with new friends. It did not disappoint. Dave, the owner, stopped by to greet us. This was a nice touch. He later brought by a new cocktail for us to sample, the red light. We all gave it a thumbs up, very tasty. All of the food items were very good. We enjoyed a booth because the sound level at some of the tables can be annoyingly loud.

    We had another table reservation at this fantastic restaurant. We come back all the time because of the high level of service we receive. The fact set and, decor, pleasant background music make it perfect for a successful evening. Then the food. Never disappoint, whatever we choose. Overall we had a fantastic dining experience again.
