As always, we enjoyed our choices both in the restaurant and the left overs for another full meal at home

Our servers both occasion was awesome! Gama one of them was the best!!!

Our server was amazing but the manager was rude. If we didn't have the server that we did we would never go back here. We'd travel further to the other locations. He treated all other tables with more respect than he did with us. It was very unprofessional and disappointing as we both work where customer service is important.

Lunch was great. Our server was friendly and he made sure we were taken care of. Food was delicious and portion size was good. Definitely will return when in the area!

Menu choices has changed. Linguini frutti di mare is now gone.

Ceaser salad had too much dressing. I mean way too much. We didn’t get it replaced as our food was coming. They offered to replace it and comped us!!

Great service and manager even stopped by to check with us.

Food is still good, but I don't remember dinner for 5 (with little alcohol) costing $300. It seems they have also limited their menu.

Brought my mom to Buca for a 4th of July dinner. Everything was exceptional, especially our server, Adam. My mom always asks for extra things and he was very accommodating. The food was prepared great and exactly as ordered. Great place for a holiday meal.

It was my daughters bday.

Great family style Italian. Large portions that are ideal for large groups.

I do not like the food. Maybe because they had too many people to attend to. The food was watery and tasteless.

I made a reservation a week in advance for 10 people on 2/14. When we got to the restaurant even though we had a reservation we waited almost an hour after our reservation time because the restaurant over booked themselves. This defeats the whole purpose of making a reservation. We had 6 kids who were hungry and had to wait by the bathroom doors as there was no space to stand anywhere. The food was just mediocre at best.

Chicken Limon is the reason to come here....the ambiance, great service are reasons to linger. We came in for Valentine's dinner. The prices are too high for pasta, but worth a splurge. Some of the back rooms lack the personality of those closer to the main entrance and music is key -- so crank up the "Frank".

Always fun and colorful! Yummy food.

Our waiter could have been more attentive. We had to chase him to get an entree and our celebration cake.

Service was excellent. Had the spaghetti and meatballs which was just ok. Meatballs worth getting, but spaghetti lack any sauce and was tasteless.

Server was wonderful!! Most of the food was excellent. I say most because I personally didn’t care for the entree. I was with a group and majority rule chose it. The Bruschetta was delicious!! Salad too. The only disappointing thing was the restaurant was quite empty and I was there with two girlfriends. Yet the host sat a family with two crying kids right next to us even though there were LOTS of empty tables. We all have kids, love kids. Having an evening out with no kids right in our ear would have been nice.

It was for my birthday. I marked it for that on the Open table app. No one asked us if we were there for an occasion when seated or the waiter. By the end of the meal when everyone around was getting sang to for their birthdays my daughters said you should be too! I told them no it was fine. I was ready to go. The food was decent and was large portions like they waiter indicated, but was sub par flavors. I probably will not be going back. The decorations were everywhere and decent to look at. Italian, themed some pictures were not super appropriate for the children that were there. But over all it was decent.

Great service and very fun atmosphere. Got the Colossal Brownie Sundae. Delicious!

Service started out great but then tailed off fast. Forgot one our dishes and we had to remind our server. We eventually got the dish served and the manager comped it on our bill. Also, we had told the hostess that it was our daughters birthday and they didn’t acknowledge it at all. We love going to Buca, but their service this time around wasn’t their greatest impression on us.

Great food and service!! We were very pleased with our experience....we loved having our Christmas dinner at Buca!!

Our meal was not as good as we remember. Luke warm and not a lot of sauce w/the pasta dishes. Caesar salad was not much more then one you would get in a bag at the store.

A fun way to spend our Christmas Eve. We enjoyed the food and dessert. Thanks!

Great place had a room all to ourselves and excellent service great for groups with the round table

1st time in long time. Very slow for service once seated. We’re able to study entire family style menu before 1st server arrived. Food was good Italian American served in large plates to be dished around the table. All 5 items ordered were good to great, especially chicken Marsala and shrimp Florentine were excellent. “Small” is supposed to serve 3. When we were done we realized they only serve 2, unless children or diet watching women. Desserts were surprisingly great!

Food is always delicious. Not fun to listen to the bartender and server argue. Especially when the bartender has a voice that carries.

We had not been to Buca in a while and it still offers the same excellent service and food. We did not recall the family style dining approach in which the smallest portion available serves three people and the pricing was relatively high as a consequence. While we ended up taking some of the salad and entree home - arguably it did serve three meals - two drinks, a shared salad and a shared entree cost about $90 for the two of us, before the tip. Had we known we would be spending that much on our meal, we might have chosen a different restaurant.

We have been going to Buca for many years now. The food is great, which keeps us coming back. The restaurant desperately needs an update / remodel. It is very cramped with seating and the echo makes the noise level even higher. This is stressful for a lot of people. Why all of a sudden would you not automatically bring bread to the table? Why do I need to ask? Is this their way of saving money? Cuz I pay enough for the food that it should be included. Annoying. Also, could it be more insulting to a customer that they almost refused m cash??? I was told I couldn’t leave until he checked with the manager because I used a coupon and when you use a coupon they don’t like to take cash. I don’t know what that is all about but it infuriates me and if I am told that again I might scream . I am not part of employee theft and if that’s the reason they don’t want to take cash, they better find another way to keep their employees from stealing or they will lose business. If it weren’t for the food... I would never go back.

Explanation of family style was inaccurate. Server explained, but then said the portions were small so we ordered way too much food & tripled what should have been a very realistic bill. Waited a long time for drinks. Restaurant didn't seem that busy, but our server was no where to be found after taking our order. Lesson learned.

Place was dead for Friday at lunch and waiter was incredibly slow. One person in our party got his pasta after everyone had finished their lunch. Bread was horrible. Salad was horrible. If you can’t make the salad because of the romaine recall, then say so. Won’t be back for lunch, ever. High cost was not worth it.

We have a tradition of going to Bucas every thanksgiving. This tradition started some 10 years ago. The food and consistency of service has been the same over all these years - it’s warm and cozy and really good food.

Enjoyable but, 7 adults and 2 under 6 with bill of $480 incl tip seems a little steep.

The place is a lot better than I remember from a couple of years ago. Thought I’d give it a try. Service was very good. Food was nice for a family style restaurant. Prices are a bit steep, (compared to higher end restaurants and other family style restaurants we’ve frequented) ... but the market will tell. Good place to celebrate!

It was Ok. We could not use the coupon we had. Small print said not on certain days/times. Lots of food but meatballs were bland. Sauce was just ok, not much flavor. Best part was the garlic bread.

Went here for National Pasta Day. Huge pasta dish discount on this day for Buca loyalists.

I love Buca’s Linguini Frutti Di Mare and haven’t really found any contenders that are better on this selection.

My best girl loves the Baked Ravioli here as well.
Good wine pour and reasonable draft prices here although craft beer selection is a handful of OK for me.

Our server was a young guy who was excellent. Hopefully he gets poached by a more upscale outfit if he plans on staying in food/hospitality. Great server in all aspects.

Had a great time. Recommend Burnsville Buca on coupon as their recent price increases are a reach without a coupon.

We were seated in the bar area which is our least favorite location in the restaurant.

Additionally:

At the Burnsville location the servers constantly cut thru the wait listed folks and pick up area in a very small lobby.
With and without large trays of food.
We do not care for this as room in the area is limited and we feel like we have to be on alert for these folks to avoid a collision. The servers move quite fast.

Frankly it may be considered cute -why else do it- but we think it’s bush league lazy and do not like it

When I privately asked our server, Brendan, to please split our tab foreight guests into two equal tickets, and apply the $15 coupon to each order, he thought it was a good idea to send the manager over and announce to our entire party that we couldn’t use two coupons on our $200 dinner bill. My friend and I, who were each going to pay for the other guests at the table, were mortified. Don’t you suppose, Brendan, that I spoke with you discreetly about this for a reason?! Both our server and his manager need a customer service lesson in discretion and how to handle particular situations. Fine that we couldn’t use the coupons, but probably not what we wanted to have announced in front of our guests. Duh Brendan.

Buca is way overpriced. Fortunately there are alwsys a dozen coupons floating around to bring them back to reality. I would prefer every-day rational pricing. The food and service was very good on this visit. Our 15 year old's birthday dessert was a scoop of ice cream which was disappointing.
